Chapter 5 - I NEED TO GET STRONGER

Ariel had already begun her trainings with Thorvok. He taught her the basics of fighting and also summoning magic. Ariel was quite a fast learner and learner things very fast. Even Thorvok was pleased and concerned because within the range of two weeks, Ariel could already summon magic unlike him who took a full month to be able to only sense it inside him.

Soon, Ariel could control magic, but that was not all, she was also able to summon another one inside her. Thorvok, fully concerned, went to ask her a few questions.

"It's pretty amazing how you can summon two magics." he complimented. Ariel smiled at him.

"Thank you. But I don't think it's only two I can summon."

"What do you mean?"

"You said that one can only stop summoning different types of magics when they feel a slight pain in summoning the last one. But I don't feel pain at all. You also said they would feel like their stomach is full, or they're being overfed, but I'm not having that feeling. Infact, I feel like I'm being underfed, like I've not eaten for four months."

"Four... months?" he asked, his mouth open wide, not wanting to close it.

"Yes, is there a problem mister?" she asked confused.

"So how many times do you think you can eat to full that stomach?" he asked, wanting to confirm his fears.

"Like...six more times, I guess." she replied, trying once again to feel the space inside her.

'Six times or maybe even more! What kind of elf is she? I think she is going to cause trouble for the world if she reaches her full potential. Am I even right in teaching her these things or should I kill her now that it is not too late?' Thorvok thought as he felt his body shiver when imagining just how powerful she would be. He soon brushed the thought aside when Vorgath came to meet him.

"Good day master." he bowed down.

"How is your day?"

"We are planning to go fishing." he replied.

"Oh, that's right. You need Ariel?"

"Yes master."

Ariel turned to look at Vorgath who smiled and waved at her. She returned the sweet smile and gave an even sweeter smile. Then the two ran off to meet Kaelix.

Ariel and Vorgath have been close for a while and there was no doubt that Vorgath had grown feelings for her. She knew about this but had acted ignorant just for friendship's sake.

"Where are the rest?" Ariel asked.

"They are helping their father so they can't come. but we will catch fish for them." Kaelix replied and with that, the three sped off into the woods.

"So, what did you learn today?" Vorgath asked Ariel after the three of them had stopped running and instead walked down.

"More skills. and I can summon another magic."

"Wow, that's cool."

"You mean sexy?" Kaelix joked and they all laughed at it.

"Should I show you?" Ariel asked.

"Sure, let's see what this genius of mine can do."

"Really? Genius of yours?" Kaelix eyed Vorgath who ignored him.

Ariel stopped walking and closed her eyes. She then began to concentrate on what was inside and then, she could see a blue energy inside her. Bringing her hands together while still concentrating, she began to draw the energy out and soon, it could be seen outside forming like a ball in between her two hands. She then imagined a spear and soon the ball too changed its shape to that of a spear. Immediately it changed shape, she threw it with not so much force and speed but one that was enough to thrust it forward into a far distance. Then she opened her eyes. There was also a purple energy next to the blue one, but it was not fully summoned, so she decided to leave it at that,

"Wow, that was so cool." Kaelix said in amazement.

"You'd really make a good assassin." Vorgath commented.

"Thank you. I also learned some fighting skills, but it's for another day." she explained.

"You really need to start thinking of joining the hunting groups to, you know, improve your skills. Because your opponent won't just wait for you to concentrate for that long period of time." Kaelix said as they continued walking.

"I know, I'm still working on it." she said.

"So, are you thinking of joining the hunting groups?" Vorgath asked.

"I don't know yet."

"You want to join too if she does?" Kaelix asked.

"I mean, we can all join." Vorgath answered.

"What love." Kaelix sighed.

"You can go find yours. Hey, I caught you staring at N'zan the other day. You want to talk about it?" Vorgath teased.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Kaelix answered somewhat embarrassed, and Ariel chuckled.

"Time to go fishing!" Ariel squealed and jumped in excitement while Vorgath smiled sheepishly. Kaelix watching this, shook his head and sighed.
