Kaido surged from the ground.
Black-red arcs of Conqueror's Haki lightning tore through the air, ripping open vacuums in their wake. He hoisted the splintered half of Hassaikai high above his head. The raw physical might of his Demon Dragon Body, coupled with top-tier Armament Haki, poured entirely into this single strike. The air itself shrieked under the crushing pressure.
"Die, you bastard!"
Kaido roared, bringing the club crashing down toward the diminutive figure sitting in the hover pod. This strike was heavy enough to sink an entire island. He possessed absolute confidence that even against that old man Whitebeard, this blow was not to be underestimated.
Frieza didn't even attempt to dodge. He didn't even rise from his hover pod. He merely raised a slender left hand in a casual gesture. A white palm met the spiked club enveloped in an aura of pure destruction.
Boom!
A deafening sonic boom erupted with the two of them at its epicenter. Rolling shockwaves swept across the entire expanse of ruins, sending debris dancing wildly in the sky.
As the dust settled, Kaido's dark gold, slitted pupils violently contracted.
That club, weighing tens of thousands of pounds and coated in top-tier Haki, had been brought to a dead halt in midair. Frieza's single hand firmly supported the tip of the weapon. He hadn't swayed in the slightest. Even his hover pod remained as steady as Mount Tai.
Kaido felt as though his strike had slammed into an immovable wall of iron. The sheer force of the recoil left his arms entirely numb. The layer of high-tier Ryuo wrapping Hassaikai hadn't even managed to break the skin on his opponent's palm.
This wasn't a crushing defeat born of superior technique. This was a pure, unreasonable, overwhelming mathematical gap. At this moment, a battle power of 530,000 materialized as an insurmountable mountain.
"Decent strength," Frieza said, an elegant smile gracing his pale face. "But that is all it is. I've seen far too many barbarians like you in this universe who only know how to swing their sticks around."
With a slight twist of his wrist, Frieza's five slender fingers dug sharply into the spikes of Hassaikai. An irresistible, tremendous force transmitted straight down the shaft of the club.
A tearing agony erupted in the webbing between Kaido's thumb and forefinger as black-red blood instantly burst forth. Before he even had the chance to let go, Frieza used Kaido like a human meteor hammer. With a vicious swing of his left arm, the ten-meter-tall Demon Dragon Body was hurled away like a discarded ragdoll.
The speed was so blindingly fast that even Observation Haki failed to track its trajectory.
Crash! Crash! Crash!
Kaido's massive frame blasted straight through three towering rocky peaks. A storm of shattered stone rained down as he forcibly plowed a terrifying trench several kilometers long across the surface of Namek, finally slamming brutally into a massive pile of rubble.
The earth trembled violently.
Lying at the bottom of a distant crater, Vegeta watched the scene unfold in absolute despair. He knew all too well how terrifying Frieza was. That monster wasn't even trying; he was just toying with his prey. Like a cat playing with a mouse.
The ruins remained quiet for less than two seconds.
Roar—!
A dragon's cry that seemed to shatter the very heavens erupted from beneath the rubble. A tempestuous current of air blasted upward, sending countless boulders flying into the sky. A massive Azure Dragon, hundreds of meters long, took flight. Kaido had shifted directly into his most massive Mythical Zoan form.
His pitch-black scales glinted with a metallic luster beneath Namek's green sky as he coiled through the oppressive clouds. His colossal body blotted out the sun, his dark gold eyes locking onto the white figure far below.
Kaido unhinged his abyssal maw, and the surrounding atmosphere began to frantically funnel into his mouth. The Rayquaza template granted by the Pokémon dungeon was pushed to its absolute limit. The natural energy of Namek was forcibly stripped away, coalescing into a highly compressed, dark-gold sphere of light within the dragon's jaws.
This was the strongest attack he could currently muster—a strike fusing Haki, Devil Fruit abilities, and otherworldly divine authority.
"Bolo Breath: Heavenly Dragon Roar!"
A dark-gold pillar of light, over a hundred meters in diameter, crashed down like divine retribution. The air along its path completely ignited, painting the entire sky a blinding, dark gold. The destructive power of this strike was several times greater than the one that had defeated Captain Ginyu. Wherever it passed, spatial distortions rippled outward.
Frieza tilted his head back, watching the apocalyptic dark-gold beam descend. A flicker of disdain crossed his blood-red eyes.
"What a noisy beast. The quantity of energy barely passes, but the quality is dreadfully unrefined."
He floated up from his hover pod, casually crossing his arms over his chest. A purple aura surged from within his body, rapidly forming a semi-transparent, spherical barrier around him.
The dark-gold breath slammed violently against the purple shield, emitting an ear-piercing screech. The intense heat desperately tried to melt the barrier. The chaotic energy attempted to tear through Frieza's defenses. Yet, this breath, capable of evaporating oceans, couldn't produce a single hairline fracture on that thin shield.
It didn't even manage to graze a single one of Frieza's fingers.
"Is this the extent of it?" Frieza chuckled softly.
Defying the world-ending breath, his body drifted upward like a weightless phantom, his speed defying imagination. He pierced straight through the dark-gold beam. It was like a scalpel slicing through hot butter—without a shred of resistance.
Frieza's figure suddenly appeared directly above the colossal dragon head.
Kaido's vision blurred for a fraction of a second before the white figure materialized right on top of him. Warning sirens screamed in his mind as his Observation Haki frantically flared. But his massive body simply couldn't react in time.
Frieza had already raised his right leg. With what looked like a casual flick, he delivered a devastating axe kick straight into Kaido's massive left dragon horn.
Snap.
A crisp, shattering sound echoed across the sky. Kaido's pride—the dragon horn that had remained unscathed through countless battles—was forcibly snapped clean in two.
Fountains of purple-black blood erupted from the severed stump. A blinding, agonizing pain spiked straight into his brain.
"Rooaaarghhh!" Kaido unleashed an earth-shaking howl of pure agony and rage.
The terrifying kinetic force behind that kick traveled down the horn and rippled through his entire body. The colossal, hundred-meter-long dragon completely lost its balance, plummeting like a falling meteorite straight toward a massive lake below.
Boom!
A colossal geyser of water shot over a hundred meters into the air. The water level of the entire lake noticeably dropped in an instant. The airborne spray rained back down in a torrential downpour as extreme, boiling heat spread from the lakebed. The originally cool water began to violently boil, and massive clouds of steam billowed upward, swallowing the entire lake in a dense, white fog.
In less than half a minute, the entire lake had been completely boiled dry, revealing the cracked, muddy basin below.
Heavy footsteps echoed from within the thick fog.
Thud. Thud. Every step made the earth tremble. Kaido strode out of the steam, having reverted back to his ten-meter-tall Demon Dragon Hybrid Form. He still gripped the broken half of Hassaikai in a death grip. He was covered in blood from head to toe.
From his left temple, purple-black blood continued to drip from the severed stump of his horn, tracing down his ferocious face and splashing against the pitch-black scales on his chest. He looked like an absolute wreck.
Yet, within his dark gold, slitted pupils, there was not a single trace of retreat. Instead, they burned with a near-psychotic battle lust.
He extended a scarlet tongue and licked the blood trailing down the corner of his mouth. A long-lost taste of rust bloomed across his tongue.
This feeling of being utterly crushed by absolute power. This thrill of dancing madly on the razor's edge between life and death.
It was far too familiar.
A distant memory flashed through Kaido's mind. It was a long time ago, back when he was still a reckless brat who had just been invited to join the crew known as the most evil in the world: the Rocks Pirates.
The first time he met that man named Rocks D. Xebec, it had been exactly like this. He had been ground into the dirt by pure, absolute violence, without even the slightest room to fight back. That battle had broken half the bones in his body, but it had also completely ignited the sheer savagery deep in his marrow.
And today, in this hellhole called Namek, facing this Emperor of the Universe with a battle power of 530,000... that long-lost euphoria—the kind that practically set his blood on fire—was back.
Kaido split his maw into a manic grin, revealing a smile more terrifying than a demon's.
"Uwororororo!"
"530,000! Now that's fucking thrilling!"
He slammed Hassaikai heavily into the ground. A violent wave of Conqueror's Haki erupted from his body once more—thicker, denser, and far more berserk than before. Black-red lightning ravaged the dried-up lakebed.
"Again!"
