Deep within the innermost, hidden sanctuary of the Grand Cathedral of Lubelius, the atmosphere was dense with the scent of burning incense and ancient, heavy security barriers. This was the chamber of the Seven Luminaries, the legendary Celestial Sages who supposedly guided humanity under the divine will of the Goddess Luminous. They sat upon elevated, dimly lit stone platforms, their faces obscured by ceremonial hoods, projecting an aura of absolute, unyielding religious authority.
Standing on the polished marble floor directly below them was Hinata Sakaguchi. Her white holy knight captain uniform was pristine, her hand resting casually on the pommel of her sword. Her expression was completely cold and analytical as she looked up at the shrouded old men. She had not come here to request an audience; she had come to deliver a finalized administrative directive.
"I have called this assembly to inform you of an immediate shift in our foreign policy," Hinata spoke, her voice echoing sharply against the stone walls. "The Holy Empire of Lubelius will officially begin the process of establishing a formal diplomatic and economic relationship with the Kingdom of Coleus, the sovereign territory under Demon Lord Loki."
An immediate, turbulent wave of agitated magicules rippled through the elevated platforms. The Seven Luminaries shifted in their seats, their collective composure instantly fracturing at her words.
"Absurd! This is absolute madness, Hinata!" one of the Sages shouted, his voice cracking with old age and deep indignation. "The Kingdom of Coleus is a nation governed by a chaotic, unpredictable monster! Have you forgotten the absolute humiliation our forces suffered? That Demon Lord breached our sacred borders, made a complete mockery of the Ten Great Saints, and actively ridiculed the holy doctrine of Luminism!"
"To align ourselves with a demon is a direct violation of the foundational laws of this empire," another Luminary chimed in, leaning forward. "Humanity looks to Lubelius as the ultimate shield against the threat of monsters. If the western nations discover that the Holy Empire is shaking hands with a Demon Lord, the entire structure of the church's influence will collapse into absolute ruin!"
Hinata didn't blink. She listened to their protests with a look of profound, unbothered boredom. Once the echoing voices of the old men finally died down, she let out a short, sharp sigh.
"I believe you are completely misunderstanding the nature of this meeting," Hinata said coldly, her dark eyes narrowing as she locked her gaze onto them. "I did not come here to seek your counsel, nor did I come to ask for your permission. The decision to form a diplomatic relationship with the Kingdom of Coleus has already been thoroughly finalized by Lady Luminous herself. Informing you of this development is simply a matter of standard administrative protocol. Your personal opinions on the matter are entirely irrelevant to the course of action."
The Sages erupted in a chorus of fierce denial. The golden runic arrays etched into their platforms flared with their rising anger. At the center of the platforms, Granbell Rozzo. Secretly operating under his guise as the leader of the Luminaries narrowed his eyes beneath his hood. His mind was furiously calculating the catastrophic damage this alliance would cause to the Rozzo family's remaining economic frameworks, especially after the sudden, mysterious silence from Mariabell's faction.
"Do not test our patience, human girl!" Granbell spoke, his voice carrying a heavy, resonant pressure that shook the ambient air. "You claim this is the will of the Goddess, yet you provide us with nothing but your own words. How can the Seven Luminaries, the true keepers of the faith, blindly believe the testimony of a mortal knight on a matter that alters the bedrock of our holy empire? Unless Lady Luminous herself descends to deliver this command directly to us, we refuse to accept this diplomatic farce!"
The moment Granbell's defiant words left his mouth, the ancient security barriers surrounding the chamber violently shattered.
The ambient temperature within the stone room instantly plummeted to sub-zero levels. A dense, suffocating torrent of pure night-attribute magicules and overwhelming, absolute regal pressure exploded into the center of the sanctuary. The sheer weight of the aura was so immense that the stone platforms of the Sages began to crack and groan under the sudden gravitational strain.
A sharp tear in the fabric of space materialized, and out stepped Luminous Valentine.
The Vampire Queen was clad in her full, magnificent gothic splendor. Her silver hair cascaded perfectly over her shoulders, and her heterochromatic eyes. One brilliant crimson, the other icy blue burned with a terrifying, dangerous light as she glared at the shrouded old men.
"You speak of my name with such casual arrogance, you pathetic, sniveling worms," Luminous spoke softly, yet her voice carried the force of a thunderclap that resonated straight into the souls of everyone present.
The Seven Luminaries instantly lost all of their grand posture. With a collective gasp of pure, unadulterated terror, all seven Sages threw themselves off their elevated platforms, crashing violently onto the marble floor below. They scrambled into a frantic, groveling position, slamming their foreheads repeatedly against the cold stone, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.
"Lady Luminous! Please forgive our absolute insolence!" Granbell cried out, his voice shaking with genuine fear as he kept his face glued to the floor. "We did not mean to question your divine wisdom! We only desired to protect the sacred integrity of your empire!"
"Silence!" Luminous snapped, stepping forward and looking down at them with look of supreme disgust. "My beloved Hinata decided out of the sheer kindness of her heart that it was better to keep you miserable old fools informed of our administrative trajectories. I do not owe you a single shred of explanation for my actions. I do not need to justify my ledger to a collection of disposable tools."
She elegantly turned her back to them, her dark dress rustling softly. "Loki has successfully consolidated the backing of Sarion, Dwargon, and Coleus. The shifting tides of the Western Nations' economy are completely in his hands. Aligning ourselves with his coalition is a calculated geopolitical necessity to ensure our absolute stability. You will execute Hinata's directives flawlessly, without a single word of complaint, or I shall systematically feed every single one of your souls to the abyss."
"We understand! Your will is absolute, our glorious Goddess!" the Sages chorused frantically, eagerly absorbing her harsh insults and terrifying threats if it meant surviving another day.
Despite the total submission, Granbell secretly clenched his fists against the floor, his mind screaming in desperate frustration as he tried to think of a way to subtly maneuver against this, but he dared not utter another syllable in her presence.
With a final, haughty click of her boots, Luminous Valentine vanished into a brilliant flash of silver and black light, leaving the chamber as quickly as she had arrived.
The Luminaries slowly, painfully pushed themselves off the ground, their faces pale and covered in cold sweat as they looked toward Hinata. Hinata simply stared at them, a small, proud smile gracing her lips for a brief moment before she regained her stern composure.
'Lady Luminous truly is magnificent,' Hinata thought to herself, her heart filled with deep admiration and unyielding devotion as she turned to leave the broken council chamber.

Far to the frozen, absolute North, a colossal fortress of white ice and dark stone stood entirely isolated against the howling arctic blizzards. This was the White Ice Palace, the sovereign domain of the oldest and most powerful Demon Lord, Guy Crimson.
Inside the grand, cavernous throne room, the atmosphere was completely silent. Guy Crimson was lounging casually on his massive, ornate throne, his long crimson hair spilling over his shoulders as he stared idly out of the massive ice windows at the barren landscape.
The heavy doors of the throne room opened smoothly, and Misery, the green-haired Primordial maid, walked in with flawless, elegant strides. Her posture was perfectly composed, her hands clasped neatly over her spotless white apron as she approached the steps of the throne and bowed deeply from the waist.
"Guy-sama," Misery spoke, her voice smooth, rhythmic, and entirely professional. "The midday hour has arrived. Do you have any specific requests or culinary preferences that you wish for me to prepare for your lunch?"
Guy slowly stood up from his throne, stretching his muscular arms over his head with a lazy, content yawn. He brushed a stray strand of red hair out of his eyes and offered her a mischievous, knowing smirk.
"Don't bother making anything for me today, Misery," Guy replied casually, his tone filled with a playful bounce. "I actually have a rather important errand to run. There's an old acquaintance of mine I need to visit down south to discuss some upcoming entertainment. I'll be skipping out on lunch."
Without waiting for her to respond, Guy casually raised his hand. With a single, effortless twitch of his fingers, a massive, ruby-red magical circle erupted beneath his boots, and his entire physical form instantaneously vanished from the throne room in a silent flash of spatial distortion.
Misery let out a soft, imperceptible sigh, straightening her posture as she prepared to return to her administrative duties.
"Ah, Misery-chan! Wait up a second!"
A loud, incredibly lazy voice echoed from behind one of the massive ice pillars near the side of the room. Dino emerged from the shadows, rubbing his eyes sleepily and yawning so widely his jaw almost clicked. He was wearing his usual rumpled clothing, looking entirely out of place in the grand, pristine palace.
"Since Guy is skipping out on his meal, I wouldn't mind taking his place," Dino said, offering her a hopeful, goofy grin as he stomach let out a timely, loud rumble. "How about you whip up a massive three-course lunch for me instead? Maybe some of those high-grade pastries and that roasted meat from the southern trade routes? I'm absolutely starving here."
Misery slowly turned her head toward him. The moment her green eyes locked onto Dino, her perfectly polite maid expression completely dissolved into a look of absolute, frigid disgust.
"Go fall off a cliff, Dino," Misery said, her voice dropping into a flat, completely merciless cadence.
Dino's jaw dropped. "Hey! That's incredibly harsh!"
"You are nothing but an unmitigated, useless freeloader within this sacred palace," Misery continued smoothly, completely ignoring his complaints as she began to glide past him toward the exit. "You do not contribute to the maintenance of the fortress, you do not assist with the security protocols, and your entire existence consists of sleeping and consuming our high-grade rations. I see absolutely zero logical reason to waste my culinary talents on a slacker of your caliber."
As the heavy doors closed behind Misery, Dino slumped onto the cold ice floor in a comically pathetic pile, burying his face in his hands.
'Man, this is absolutely brutal,' Dino thought to himself, his internal voice filled with a dramatic, weeping lament. 'Ever since Lady Velzard packed up her bags and ran off to hang out with that crazy anomaly Loki, I have absolutely zero allies left in this freezing castle. The maids are completely bullying me now. I am completely, utterly alone.'

Meanwhile, deep within the harsh, sun-baked expanses of the Barren Lands, a massive stone fortress carved directly into the side of a colossal mountain range overlooked the endless desert. This was the stronghold of the Giant Demon Lord, Dagruel.
A sudden, violent flash of crimson light illuminated the center of Dagruel's grand, earthy audience chamber. The spatial coordinates stabilized instantaneously, and Guy Crimson materialized perfectly on his feet, his hands casually stuffed into his pockets as he looked around the room.
Sitting upon a massive, reinforced stone throne at the end of the hall was Dagruel. The giant's colossal frame was imposing, his skin the color of ancient earth, and his eyes burning with a stoic, mountain-like intensity. He didn't look even remotely startled by Guy's sudden, unannounced intrusion into his personal quarters. Instead, a deep, rumbling chuckle vibrated out of his chest.
"Well, well. It has been a remarkably long time since you graced my halls with your presence, Guy," Dagruel spoke, his deep voice shaking the ambient sand on the floor. He gestured loosely toward a massive, polished stone table nearby. "What brings the Lord of Darkness to these desolate, boring sands? Would you care to indulge in some of my personal wine vintage?"
"Yeah, I'll take a glass," Guy chuckled, walking over with an easygoing, confident stride. "It's been a few centuries since I had a taste of your desert fermentations. I figured it was a good excuse to drop by."
Dagruel stood up from his throne, his massive height completely dominating the room. He walked over to the table, picking up a massive earthen jug and pouring a generous amount of deep, robust crimson wine into two large, beautifully carved stone chalices. He handed one to Guy, keeping the larger one for himself.
The two ancient Demon Lords walked over to a massive, comfortable stone couch set directly facing each other near the grand balcony overlooking the endless desert valleys. They sat down, taking a slow, appreciative sip of their drinks as the warm desert wind whistled through the open arches.
Dagruel set his chalice down on his knee, his stoic expression turning slightly thoughtful as he looked at the crimson-haired youth across from him.
"So... there are exactly ten days remaining," Dagruel said smoothly, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Ten days until your scheduled official duel with that fascinating, completely ridiculous new anomaly, Demon Lord Loki. The entire underworld and the secret channels of the evolutionary grid are whispering about absolutely nothing else."
Guy took a slow, elegant sip of his wine, a sharp, incredibly dangerous smile slowly creeping across his lips as his crimson eyes gleamed with an intense, predatory excitement.
"Yeah, exactly ten days," Guy replied softly, his voice dripping with pure anticipation. He set his chalice down on the table, leaning forward as he rested his chin in his hand. "Actually, Dagruel... that impending fight is exactly what I came all the way out here to talk to you about."
