Chapter 280: Six Paths Seeds
"Ah—!"
The world suddenly spun wildly around Shion, making her let out a startled yelp. When her vision finally stabilized and she realized she was standing face-to-face with a smiling Konan and Alex, she slapped her hands over her mouth, instantly cutting off her scream.
She quickly glanced out of the corner of her eye. The women who had just been staring awkwardly at each other in the hallway—Honoka, Hinata, Ryuzetsu, Samui, and Kaguya—were all standing right next to her. Clearly, either Lord Alex or Lady Konan had instantly teleported them inside.
The others quickly realized where they were as well. Samui was the first to recover. Subconsciously thrusting out her impressive snowy cleavage, she bowed slightly and said softly, "Good evening, Lord Alex, Lady Konan."
Shion, Hinata, Ryuzetsu, and Honoka quickly followed suit with their own greetings. Only Kaguya remained as proud and unbending as a goddess, offering only a slight nod to acknowledge them.
Alex smiled and nodded to each of them in return, including Kaguya. For her to even offer a nod was already a massive step forward. They hadn't known each other for long; she would inevitably become easier to get along with over time.
What a breathtaking sight… Alex mentally praised the view as his gaze swept across the women before him.
Hinata's dark purple hair cascaded smoothly down to her waist. Wearing a pure white silk nightgown, her innocent face radiated an aura of absolute purity. Shion, possessing the exact same facial features, gave off a much more vibrant and captivating energy. As for Ryuzetsu, Honoka, and Samui, each had their own unique allure. They were all dressed in different colored, form-fitting silk nightgowns that perfectly accentuated their stunning curves.
As for Kaguya… Alex couldn't help but feel a tinge of disappointment. She wasn't wearing the revealing nightwear he had specially prepared for her. Instead, she had somehow found an incredibly baggy, conservative sleeping robe that hid absolutely everything. It was truly a shame.
"Alex~" Konan said, the corner of her lips curling up into a deeply meaningful smirk as she shot him a sultry look. "Haven't you looked enough? Or do you want to test drive them right now?"
The moment the words left her mouth, Shion instantly understood the implication. She ducked her head, her face burning bright red as she nervously twiddled her fingers in front of her chest.
Hinata's ears flushed pink. She barely managed to keep her expression neutral, though her breathing grew noticeably heavier. Ryuzetsu and Honoka tensed up instantly. They all understood exactly what Lady Konan was suggesting.
Only the mature Samui showed zero signs of nervousness; if anything, her eyes sparkled with eager anticipation.
"Ahem…" Alex coughed dryly, forcing down the distracting thoughts swirling in his head. Looking at the women, he adopted a serious expression. "I called you all here tonight to change your physical constitutions. Or, more accurately, to evolve your bloodlines…"
Suddenly, five glowing green orbs, roughly the size of glass marbles, materialized in his palm. With a casual flick of his wrist, the five orbs shot directly toward Hinata, Shion, and the other three girls.
Though mildly confused, none of them tried to dodge. They allowed the green orbs to sink directly into their foreheads.
In an instant, an immense ocean of knowledge regarding the Otsutsuki constitution, their bloodlines, and the true history of chakra flooded their minds. Alex hadn't wanted to waste time verbally explaining the lore of the Otsutsuki, so he had opted to use the Tenseigan's mental orbs to directly implant the information into their brains.
He didn't give one to Kaguya, of course, since she was already well aware of her own history. There was no need to be redundant.
Very quickly, the girls fully absorbed the knowledge and understood the truth of the world.
Hinata subconsciously raised her left hand to gently touch the skin near her Byakugan. "To think that the Hyuga, the Uzumaki, the Uchiha, the Senju, the Hagoromo, and the Kaguya clans… a thousand years ago, all six of these great bloodlines were just one family…"
She instinctively glanced over at Kaguya, who was standing quietly at the edge of the group. "So all these bloodlines are just fragmented remnants. Only by possessing all six traits simultaneously can one become a complete entity."
Honoka felt exactly the same. As a possessor of the Uzumaki bloodline, she was stunned to learn she was technically distant relatives with Hinata Hyuga. It was a massive revelation.
Ryuzetsu, Shion, and Samui, however, were more deeply shaken by the sheer scale of the information rather than any personal connection. After all, none of them possessed any of the six great bloodlines to begin with.
Looking at Alex, Samui asked with intense anticipation, "Lord Alex, are you… are you planning to grant us the Otsutsuki bloodline directly?"
It was impossible for her heart not to race. As a former elite Jonin of the Hidden Cloud, she had trained relentlessly her entire life in pursuit of greater strength. Even though she had cast aside her allegiance to her village, that fundamental thirst for power still burned deep within her. If she could obtain the Otsutsuki bloodline, it meant instantly acquiring a power that encompassed all six of the legendary bloodlines that had dominated the ninja world for a millennium.
No… it was far greater than just possessing the six bloodlines. It was a power that completely eclipsed and suppressed them.
Hinata, Ryuzetsu, and Honoka quickly arrived at the exact same conclusion. Even Shion, who usually couldn't care less about combat or training, stared at Alex with shining eyes. After all, this was the power of gods! And an opportunity to obtain it without having to endure decades of brutal, agonizing training? Who wouldn't want that?
"Exactly," Alex confirmed.
His decisive answer sent a thrill of excitement through the girls. Kaguya remained standing off to the side, maintaining her silence as she watched the scene unfold.
"Then, what must we do?" Samui asked eagerly.
"You don't have to do anything at all," Alex replied, meeting the eyes of Hinata and the others one by one. "Just accept the seeds of power."
With that, he brought his hands together in a sharp clap.
In the next fraction of a second, an aura so overwhelmingly terrifying that it made the girls' souls tremble erupted from Alex's body—or more accurately, from between his clasped palms. Their bodies began to shake uncontrollably, as if they were standing in the presence of the ultimate apex predator of the universe.
Just before their legs gave out and they collapsed to the floor in pure terror, Konan made her move. With a gentle wave of her hand, a soft yet utterly absolute force—the power of the Bloodline Encompassing—enveloped Hinata and the others.
Instantly, the soul-crushing pressure was completely blocked out, and the girls' bodies slowly stopped shaking. They exchanged terrified, lingering glances of profound shock. They couldn't fathom how merely the leaked aura of Lord Alex gathering his power could be so catastrophic. He was indistinguishable from a true, omnipotent god.
"Alright."
Alex let out a soft breath and slowly opened his hands. Hovering directly above his palms were five tiny, pure white specks of light. They were minuscule, barely the size of soybeans, but they were impossibly captivating.
Hinata and the others found their gazes magnetically drawn to the lights, unable to look away. An unprecedented, ravenous hunger surged from deep within their bodies. Every single cell, right down to their fundamental genetic structure, was screaming a singular, maddening command: I want it. It was the primal, biological instinct demanding genetic completion.
"These…" Alex introduced softly, "…are the Six Paths Seeds. Once they merge with your bodies, they will help you evolve into true Otsutsuki."
