The girl was infatuated with Lin Junkai, her oldest son and she was jealous of the care and attention Lin Yue received from her older brother. I shouldn't have said anything to her about finding feed by the river. She wouldn't have been hurt if I kept my mouth shut." A ice cold voice came from behind Li Xue, who was still at the gate. "The only reason I did not go to you for this, is because I was watching over Miss Lin for the days that she was at the river. If she had been anywhere else, I can't bare the thought of what could have happened. Leave immediately. My betrothed doesn't require anything from a poisonous snake like you."

Feng Dai saluted her captain immediately. "Sir, the madam has been asking questions about your character in a bid to know more about you. She is diligent in her craft and has decided to move in to the new home completely, I have been helping her pack her things all morning, In order to facilitate this decision."

"We have been getting her to stand and walk a few feet around her room for the past few days. She is determined to not be a burden on you." Mo Jinchen smiled softly. "Go take a break, I will take over." Feng Dai saluted him again and left to get some rest before she comes back tonight to keep watch over Lin Yue. Mo Long looked at the retreating figure of Li Xue. "I want to know everything about that woman." His subordinate nodded and left to investigate Li Xue. Ignoring his father, Mo Jinchen walked across the main room to Lin Yue's room. He knocked lightly on her door.
