The journey back to the House of Mork was surprisingly peaceful. After all the chaos they had endured in the capital, the quiet road almost felt unnatural. There were no battles, no ambushes, and no sudden disasters waiting for them along the way. The carriage simply rolled forward, its wheels producing a steady rhythm as the scenery slowly changed.

Linn spent most of the journey looking through the window, watching the familiar roads pass by. As they drew closer to the territory of the House of Mork, she began recognizing the landmarks one after another. Fields, trees, old stone paths, and small villages slowly brought back memories she thought she had lost. Her excitement gradually grew as she leaned closer to the window.

"We're almost there."

Flinn looked toward her sister and gave a small smile.

"Yeah."

She didn't say much after that.

The closer they got, the more complicated her expression became.
