Breakfast soon arrived, and the group made their way down to the resort's restaurant. The morning atmosphere remained unusually peaceful, almost as if the destruction outside had never happened. The restaurant itself was spacious and elegantly decorated, with large windows allowing the morning light to spill across the tables.
Yet despite the size of the place, nobody else was there.
It was completely empty.
Only them.
Lexel walked in first, followed by Anthierin, Cresty, and Dara. The four of them found a table and took their seats, while the quiet clinking of plates and utensils was the only sound filling the restaurant.
Cresty glanced around.
"Are we the only ones here?"
Lexel looked around as well. "Looks like it."
Anthierin pulled out a chair and sat down, still looking slightly tired from the previous day. "It's probably because of what happened yesterday."
