Stellan Sutton came back to his senses.
"Hmm, what?"
"I said this document is very important."
"I've already read it."
Stellan said, signing the document and handing it to Lucas.
"You just returned to work upon coming back home, not even considering taking a break with your wife. The company matters aren't piling up, so you don't need to worry."
"Eve Sherman went to a friend's house."
"Oh?"
Lucas froze, "That explains why you were ignoring me earlier. You're lovesick, aren't you?"
Lovesick?
He had the nerve to say that.
"Any plans for this afternoon?"
"No plans. We didn't expect you back today, but the old house was notified of your return and asked me to bring you over after work."
"Alright."
Stellan nodded.
He hadn't told Autumn Ellison about going abroad to see Walter Sutton, thus she was probably upset, just waiting for him to return so she could discuss it.
To prevent her from getting angrier, he needed to face her wrath.
