Eve Sherman shook her head. "Let's not. You've already done so much for me. I won't trouble you anymore. Besides, if you come to my house now, my parents aren't in the mood to host you. I'm afraid you'll be neglected."
"Alright, but whatever happens, you have to let me know."
Stellan Sutton looked at her, reluctant to part.
Eve Sherman smiled. "Okay, I'll report to you whenever I can."
Since she'd said that, Stellan really had no reason to keep her. He nodded. "Go up first, I'll watch you leave."
Eve Sherman didn't hesitate anymore, grabbed her suitcase, and turned to leave.
Stellan Sutton eyed the suitcase, ultimately uneasy about her carrying something so heavy alone, so he got out and took it from her hands.
"I'll take you upstairs. Don't worry—I won't go through your door."
"It's not that I'm worried about you coming in."
Eve Sherman explained.
"Got it. I didn't think too much."
