"Can you please not be angry?"
Eve Sherman asked softly.
"I'm not angry."
"Really? You weren't this heavy-handed when you weren't angry before; you're usually very gentle, you know?"
Eve Sherman muttered quietly.
Stellan Sutton glanced at her and sighed helplessly, only then did he lighten his touch a bit.
"By the way, why did you suddenly want to see your mom today? I heard from the butler that Rory Shaw came over, did Rory say something?"
As Stellan Sutton spoke, he changed to another cotton swab, "It's best not to believe a single word from The Shaws because you won't hear a single truth from their mouths."
"You're right about that."
Eve Sherman pursed her lips, "But Rory Shaw came over today and said she's actually Dexter Shaw's biological daughter, but born with another woman. Dexter Shaw has been trying to kill my mom without success and now wants to torture her to death. That's why I couldn't help but go and see, they're really not treating my mom like a human."
