"You came here to eat, too?"
Finn Sterling followed her footsteps, smiling as he asked.
"I'm here on business."
Eve Sherman answered without expression.
Finn Sterling clearly had no intention of letting her go, and pursued further, "Is Stellan here?"
Eve Sherman pressed her lips, not wanting to speak.
She had no idea where Stella had run off to. If she couldn't find her soon, Finn Sterling was going to drive her crazy.
"Miss Sherman, am I really that annoying? Remember it was me who took you to the hospital when you were feeling unwell! I'm a nice guy, why do you treat me like a snake or scorpion?"
Finn Sterling couldn't understand why his charm was failing on Eve Sherman.
Any woman he'd wanted to connect with never refused him.
But this woman kept her distance, not even willing to have a conversation with him. It was something he found hard to accept.
"That's not the case, Mr. Sterling."
Eve Sherman answered seriously.
