Chapter 596 - Chapter 228: Little Sirius’s Guide to Wooing Girls (Part 2)

Perhaps their views are somewhat distorted; to Westerners, it's just natural for jocks to bully nerds...

As for teachers...

Ha, where else would you find someone like Sirius, where if you're a top student, no one dares to bully you...

"You certainly are..." Harry hesitated a few times, finally choosing to avoid hurting Little Sirius too much by selecting another word: "rather dashing."

"Hahahaha..."

Little Sirius was delighted with this compliment. He shook his flowing hair and flashed a dazzling smile.

This guy... in school, he didn't like wearing robes and preferred leather jackets, showcasing his rebellious charm.

As it turned out, his very punk look especially struck a chord with the witches, from age eighty-eight down to eight-year-olds, they couldn't quite resist his... unconventional handsomeness.

Of course, except for the Slytherins with their peculiar tastes.

Interestingly, the house with the most Sirius fans was Ravenclaw.

There wasn't a single Ravenclaw girl who could resist Sirius's charm.

"So, what's up?" Sirius sat back in the chair, crossed his legs, and asked, "At this time... shouldn't you be smooching with your little girlfriends?"

Harry suddenly looked a bit embarrassed.

Even though his skin had become quite thick, hearing "little girlfriends" still made him blush.

Couldn't help it.

"Well, of course, there's something." Harry carefully chose his words: "Do you remember when Cassandra said she would teach me the Mind Sealing Spell?"

"I remember." Sirius nodded and asked Harry, "Why? Did she keep it a secret? But such things... I don't think she'd do that, right? After all, you seem to have some connection with Voldemort."

"Not really." Harry said, "I've already mastered the Mind Sealing Spell, now I can instantly clear my mind to prevent its intrusion."

"Really?" Sirius asked with a smile.

"Of course." Harry nodded.

As soon as he finished speaking, Sirius pulled out a magic wand from who knows where and pointed it at Harry.

"Legilimens!"

Soon after, Harry instantly cleared his mind.

Once Sirius saw the blankness, he exited the Mind Reading mode, clapping his hands and said, "Not bad, both your reaction and Mind Reading skills are quite good... do you still feel it's not enough?"

"A bit," Harry said after careful consideration. "I want to expand my learning of the Mind Sealing Spell..."

Upon hearing this, Sirius nodded affirmatively.

"Not bad, not bad, your idea is right — one shouldn't be content with temporary achievements. I'm glad that even after mastering the Mind Sealing Spell, you still want to advance your study, Harry..."

Sirius wiped his eyes as he spoke.

"If James could see this, how wonderful that would be..."

Sirius then asked again, "But this should be a joyful thing... yet I must tell you, Harry, unfortunately, my understanding of the Mind Sealing Spell is not deep. I can only do what you can. Altering memories isn't my area of expertise — perhaps you should ask your little girlfriends, like Miss Grindelwald or Miss Malfoy."

"I know..." Harry sighed, "Both of them said this is enough, and I should focus my energy on the application of Magic Spells instead of wasting time here."

Upon hearing this, Sirius raised an eyebrow.

He seemed to get a hint...

"Why?" he asked.

"Vivi said," Harry began to articulate, "that I don't need to be a double agent, so I don't need to learn such advanced Mind Sealing Spells — that's also what Cassandra meant. Both of them think so."

"They do have a point." Sirius nodded, "If that's the reasoning, then it's pretty flawless — so what's your take on it?"

"I still want to continue learning, but I feel the two of them must have some other reason..." Harry glanced at Sirius again and said, "Godfather, you've always been the one who understands women best, so I'm here to ask your opinion, aren't I?"

At Harry's words, Sirius burst into laughter.

"You're not wrong, Harry," he said. "But to speak the truth, a woman's mind is the hardest thing to understand in this world, even if you exhaust every parchment in the Magic World, you can't document even a tenth of it..."

Harry listened and couldn't help but be impressed.

"Is it that daunting?"

"Of course." Sirius chuckled. "Every woman is different, and beneath each type, there are various sub-types. Perhaps this woman has one personality, while that woman has another — you tell me, even with Miss Malfoy, are you sure you know what she's truly thinking?"

Harry thought for a moment and let out a drawn-out "uh."

"Uh — no."

"Exactly." Sirius clapped his hands and said earnestly, "So, what you need to do is not to entirely understand a woman's heart, that's futile... what you need to know is how to make them happy."

"And if you can't make her happy no matter what?" Harry cautiously asked, "What if you have a girlfriend who just can't be pleased?"

Sirius gave a cold laugh.

"Then I'd be the one to be unhappy — such a girlfriend, shouldn't you hurry to break up? Or do you want to keep her around for Christmas?"

What you said makes so much sense; I have no retort.

"Always remember one thing, Harry," Sirius advised sincerely, "a woman who truly loves you won't be like the one you mentioned — if they get mad, it's because you've upset them with something... but a woman who truly loves you will understand your difficulties, so they won't cause a scene at inappropriate times."

"What if there is one?"

Harry seemed intent on pursuing his point — I'm determined to argue.

"Then she doesn't love you enough." Sirius said concisely, "I've made it clear, Harry. No one will always love you, but there will always be someone who does — the essence of skill lies in one's heart, that's the principle."

Harry nodded, albeit a bit confused, but he took Sirius's words to heart.

"Back to the topic." Harry said to Sirius again, "Why don't they want me to learn advanced applications of the Mind Sealing Spell?"

"Oh, the reason is simple." Sirius revealed a mysterious smile, "These two women love you very much, and they both have strong desires to control... so, the reason they didn't teach you the Mind Sealing Spell a hundred years ago was that they wanted to know what you're thinking."

"And yet they taught me." Harry shrugged.

"That was because they had no choice." Sirius chuckled, "They've made some compromises, but only to a limited extent..."

"Sigh..."

Harry sighed, "What should I do then? Besides those two, who else knows the advanced applications of the Mind Sealing Spell? Dumbledore?"

Sirius quickly denied Harry's suggestion.

"No, Dumbledore's been busy lately," he told Harry, "He's recently been running to France and Eastern Europe for reasons he's kept secret... let me think, let me think..."

However, after thinking for a while, Sirius couldn't think of a suitable candidate.

"Eh?" Harry suddenly raised a finger, "How about Professor Snape? I remember he was an undercover agent..."

Hearing Harry's words, Sirius's expression stiffened.
