Chapter 597 - Chapter 229: Professor, I Want to Learn This!

Awkward, of course it is.

He certainly knows that Snape is the best Mind Sealing Spell master, but the problem is, it's Snape.

If it were someone else, Little Sirius would go find them without hesitation, but it just had to be Snape.

The bigger issue is, if he goes to Snape to ask him to teach Harry about advanced use of Mind Sealing Spell, he's bound to be ruthlessly mocked by Snape.

Little Sirius knows very well how venomous the Greasy, Sniveling Old Bat's mouth can be.

If he goes to his office, he's sure to be mercilessly attacked by that toxic tongue.

But if he doesn't approach Snape, there's really no better choice.

Now Little Sirius is caught in a dilemma.

Go, and he'll be disgusted to death by Snape; retreat... but he can't bear for his good godson to be bridled and saddled by two women in the future.

Seeing his godfather's difficulty, Harry tentatively suggested, "Why don't we... just forget about it, godfather?"

Upon hearing Harry, Little Sirius felt he had no choice but to go.

"Go, I must go!" Little Sirius slapped his leg, taking a bold stance: "Don't worry, Harry! I will definitely get that Old Snot Spirit to agree and let you learn advanced use of Mind Sealing Spell with him!"

Harry was thrilled to hear his godfather's words.

So there's hope, he thought delightedly.

Little Sirius was impulsive, acting quickly once he decided.

Since it was decided, he wouldn't delay.

So he immediately left the office, advising Harry to be patient, and headed towards the Magic Potion Class office.

Harry sat in the office, feeling rather bored while waiting.

He noticed many letters on Little Sirius's desk, with hearts drawn on the envelopes—they were obviously those kind of letters.

But he wasn't interested in snooping on others' privacy, so he just glanced at them briefly and continued waiting.

He waited for half an hour.

The longer Harry waited, the more uneasy he felt.

Damn, they haven't started a duel, have they?

Harry's mind began to imagine what might be happening in Professor Snape's office...

The more he thought about it, the more he felt something was off; he should go break it up, at the very least, shout 'Stop fighting!'

Just as he was about to get up and check, Little Sirius returned to the office looking utterly defeated.

"It's settled."

Little Sirius sighed, sat back in his chair: "Snot Spirit has agreed to my request. Soon, you can go learn the advanced application of Mind Sealing Spell with him."

Harry glanced at him, clearly looking... not quite right.

So he sat back down and tentatively asked, "What's wrong, godfather?"

"Nothing much." Little Sirius casually stashed the letters into the drawer and told Harry, "Don't worry, Snot Spirit is fairly agreeable. I didn't expect that."

Agreeable?

Who?

Professor Snape?

If a Slytherin said this, or Lily, Harry might have believed it.

But...

This Gryffindor, Little Sirius...

Ignoring his Gryffindor identity, he's still one of Snape's greatest enemies... in life.

Snape being agreeable with him?

"Really? I don't believe it." Harry's head was filled with thoughts of his godfather being blackmailed by Snape, having to make huge sacrifices to secure a special learning opportunity for himself with Snape.

"What's not to believe?" Little Sirius laughed, not realizing what Harry meant.

"You surely made some enormous sacrifice to give me this chance!"

Now Harry's theatrical side emerged; he hugged Little Sirius, saying emotionally, "If it costs you a sacrifice to get me to learn the advanced application of Mind Sealing Spell with Professor Snape, I'd rather not go!"

Little Sirius: ¿...

When I type this symbol, it's not to suggest I have a problem, but that you do...

"What kind of nonsense is that..." Little Sirius said with a dark expression: "No, you've misunderstood, Harry; Snot Spirit simply agreed to my request, he didn't make any demands, he wouldn't dare!"

Seeing his godfather's resolute statement, Harry was even more convinced of his own imaginings.

"And just now..." he tentatively asked, "Why did you look so desolate?"

Little Sirius' face turned pale.

"It was because of Hagrid," he shivered, "I ran into him outside, and unbelievably, he offered me over a hundred pounds of Rock Cakes. I found an excuse not to take them, but you know how passionate he is; it took a lot of effort to get rid of him..."

Harry thought of the scene and shivered as well.

Over a hundred pounds of Rock Cakes, Merlin's fruit leather...

"Those cakes," Little Sirius continued to gesture dramatically to Harry, making a circle with his hands: "Those cakes! Even Hagrid struggled to carry them!"

"Indeed." Harry nodded in agreement: "Not even talking about whether you can bite through them, simply how long it would take to finish eating them is an unknown."

Little Sirius thought about it, glanced back at the closed door.

"Of course, perhaps we can ask Hagrid for some," a thought struck him, "we might not even be able to bite through them, but when Moon Face transforms, these tough things could serve as chew toys—you know, werewolves have very strong biting urges, and these cakes could definitely satisfy those biting urges."
