Upon hearing Mr. Leme's words, everyone present showed great respect.
The Eastern Roman Empire's treasures...
But it's not hard to understand, considering that back when Constantinople was being defended, Mr. Leme joined in the excitement—he witnessed the snake monster just swimming out of the Saint Romanus Gate, only to be blasted to death by the Urban Giant Cannon...
"Now, we're just missing the fur of the three-headed dog and the dragon scales," Harry said, scratching his chin. "As for dragon scales, I remember Ron's brother Charlie is in Romania raising dragons. He shouldn't lack dragon scales—not to mention the fur of the three-headed dog, that could be a task for Hagrid—You know, Hagrid always has some quirky treasures."
"I can deeply relate to that," Newt agreed with Harry. "Oh my, do you have any idea how shocked I was when I found out Hagrid's carpet was entirely woven from unicorn hair?"
"Though Hagrid is a half-blood giant, his heart is purer than most," Harry said to Newt. "Unicorns only approach those with a pure soul; I believe you know that."
"Compared to Hagrid, my soul truly isn't that pure," Newt said, covering his face, looking somewhat embarrassed.
Dumbledore sighed—
"Then it's settled," Mr. Leme said cheerfully. "You all are responsible for collecting the dragon scales and three-headed dog's fur, while I'll provide you with the Nether River Flower. Once all the materials are gathered, we'll meet in the alchemy room... Also, Albus, please stop appearing in my alchemy room so suddenly. You know, it's hard for an elder to withstand such surprises."
"I'll take note, Nico," Dumbledore said with a jovial stroke of his beard.
When Harry returned to his dorm, he immediately looked for Ron.
"Ron," he said, "could you help me write a letter to Charlie—say I want to buy some dragon scales from him..."
"Hey, I thought it was something serious," Ron said, patting his chest. "Leave it to me—though you'll have to lend me Hedwig. Mom said she'll buy me an owl by Christmas."
"Alright, no problem," Harry nodded.
After chatting with Ron, he then hurriedly left the dormitory to find Hagrid at his cabin.
To his surprise, Lupin and Little Sirius were having a gathering in Hagrid's cabin, each holding a huge mug—but in Hagrid's hand, the mug was just a normal small teacup, while for Lupin and Little Sirius—it was as big as their heads.
When Harry opened the door, Hagrid was vigorously blowing his nose—a giant blowing his nose, the noise naturally loud and even startled Harry.
"Oh my god, Hagrid," Harry said with lingering fear, "I thought Seamus was using Thunder Explosion."
Hagrid chuckled, patting the side and said, "Come in and sit down—I'm really glad to hear about Little Sirius's vindication—oh my, I really couldn't believe that Ron's pet was Peter Pettigrew, and that all this time, I've wronged Little Sirius, I really—"
Hagrid got choked up again at this point.
"Oh my, oh my..." Hagrid shook his head and said, "I even suspected you..."
"It wasn't your fault, Hagrid," Little Sirius said, patting Hagrid's arm, "Actually, I didn't defend myself because I wanted to atone for my mistakes..."
He actually wanted to pat Hagrid's shoulder, but the height difference was quite significant, so Little Sirius decided to settle with patting the arm.
"You even gave me that motorcycle," Hagrid said, wiping his tears. "Don't worry, I've kept your old buddy in good condition; it's outside—"
"Motorcycle?" Harry asked with interest; he never knew Hagrid had a motorcycle.
"Yes, when I rescued you from the ruins—" Hagrid gestured and said, "Your godfather came riding a motorcycle; he looked pale and was trembling all over. I knew, he was mourning for James and Lily, and then he said, 'Give me Harry, Hagrid; I'm his godfather, I'll take care of him—' Ha! But you know my personality, Dumbledore instructed me, so I told him no, Dumbledore said Harry should go to his aunt and uncle. He initially disagreed, but eventually, he relented, asking me to ride his motorcycle to bring Harry there. 'I no longer need this motorcycle.' that's what he said, and then that flying motorcycle became mine."
Harry felt a sting on the scar on his forehead; he seemed to remember something.
"I seem to have a bit of a memory, Hagrid," Harry said, holding his head. "Oh, it seems other than you riding that motorcycle with me, Little Sirius also rode with me, and he even took me to play with a flying broomstick, though not as big as a regular broom."
"Ha!" Little Sirius slapped his thigh, pointing at Harry. "See, you remembered? The first flying broomstick in your life, I gave it to you—back then, I got scolded by Lily for a long time, even got hit twice with a frying pan, but I dodged it, haha..."
"Sometimes I wonder, did Lily raise three children?" Lupin said shaking his head helplessly, "You, James, and Harry—you three kids—and you and Prongs, you two are like kids who never grow up..."
