Hm, his father James Potter, his Animagus is a stag, and Peter Pettigrew is a rat - but what about Professor Lupin's Animagus? What is it?
But...
If it's a reference, and the black dog refers to the godfather, then what about the snake? Who could the snake be?
Harry immediately thought of Snape, who held a deep grudge against his father's little group.
Could it be... Sirius Black has been captured by Snape?
But that's impossible. If Sirius Black had been caught by Snape, he would have been handed over to the Ministry of Magic long ago - Snape would love for Sirius to be caught by a Dementor to suck out his soul, resolving the enmity without taking on any criminal responsibility.
"Is there a further explanation, Professor?" Harry intently stared at the crystal ball, seemingly seeking another interpretation.
"This requires you to interpret it yourself, my dear." Professor Trelawney said regretfully.
Harry gave up on probing Trelawney's thoughts further, believing that no matter how much he asked, Professor Trelawney wouldn't provide him with any answers.
So he decided to change his approach.
"Professor, I would like you to make a prophecy for me," Harry said to Professor Trelawney.
"Go ahead, my dear child." Professor Trelawney was pleased - she seemed very happy that Harry sought her out for a prophecy.
Harry looked at her and said, "I want to know where Sirius Black is."
Professor Trelawney was taken aback.
Then she nodded and said, "He has been declared innocent, right?"
"Yes, Professor." Harry nodded and said.
"You must know, my dear," Professor Trelawney said, "Even the most distinguished prophets find it difficult to use prophecy to track someone's whereabouts - but I am different, here, give me the crystal ball."
With that, she reached out to Harry.
Harry obediently picked up the crystal ball and placed it in Professor Trelawney's hands.
Professor Trelawney held the crystal ball in her hands, gazed at it intently for a while, then said to Harry, "Don't worry - my dear, you only need to wait until the day after tomorrow, and you will see Sirius Black at Hogwarts."
"Really?" Harry said with a bit of happiness, as Sirius Black was a good friend of his father's.
"Of course it is true, my dear, the Celestial Eye has told me so." Professor Trelawney said mysteriously and cryptically.
Everyone was used to her eccentric state, because it was rare to see Professor Trelawney not in that mysterious state.
Having obtained the news he wanted, Harry contentedly continued the class.
It wasn't until class ended that Ron woke from his nap.
"Class is over?" Ron asked, wiping the drool from the corner of his mouth.
"Just finished." Harry replied, saying to Ron, "Let's go, we should check on Hermione; she didn't seem very happy when she left."
"Alright." Ron nodded and said.
As they descended the stairs, after a few steps, Harry stumbled upon a crystal ball.
"Is this the one Hermione kicked down?" Harry wondered aloud as he picked it up, saying to Ron, "I didn't realize she had such strength; I think we should return it to Professor Trelawney."
Ron shook his head like a windmill.
"No, no, you go yourself, mate." He said repeatedly, "I don't want to be suddenly grabbed by Professor Trelawney for a prophecy - what if it's something ominous?"
"You have a point..." Harry nodded, saying, "Then wait here for me; I'll go return this crystal ball."
"Alright." Ron nodded and said.
Harry turned around, carrying the crystal ball back to the Divination classroom.
Professor Trelawney was no longer there, and no matter how many times Harry called, no one responded.
Feeling slightly annoyed, he set down the crystal ball, and just as he was about to turn around, he felt a pat on his shoulder.
Turning around, he saw it was Professor Trelawney, her eyes bewildered, seemingly caught in some profound state.
…
Meanwhile, in the headmaster's office of Slytherin.
"Professor?"
A sweet voice sounded, knocking on the door, a Slytherin girl holding a small bag walked into Snape's office.
It was Vivi.
Snape was evidently impatient; he continued working without pausing, not even lifting an eyelid, only acknowledging her presence with a grunt.
Vivi didn't mind, she walked briskly over to Snape.
"Excuse me, Professor." She asked, "Do you have any Magic Potion to calm Magical Creatures? I'm sorry to bother you - but it's really causing me trouble."
Upon hearing Vivi's words, Snape set down the Magic Potion bottle he was handling.
He lifted his head, expressionless, looking at Vivi, with a cold tone he said, "I believe if Miss Grindelwald hasn't been infected with stupidity by that Little Giant Gryffindor, she should know that your poor old Professor is the head of Slytherin and the Professor of Potions, not Professor Scamander of Magical Creatures Protection Class."
"But I believe you're a Master of Magical Potions; you must have a suitable solution." Vivi said with a sweet smile.
She believed that the bag in her hand was a reason Snape couldn't refuse.
"As I said, I'm not..." Snape spoke slowly.
However, before he could finish, Vivi opened her bag, a large black dog, bound with its front legs tied, fell to the ground.
The big black dog was still in a dazed state, taking a while to adjust to the sudden brightness - but only under the dim candlelit room.
With blurry eyes, the dog warily surveyed its surroundings, seemingly trying to assess the ground around it.
Upon spotting Snape, it couldn't help but utter a low growl, "Grr..." and curled its body ready to attack.
That was the stance of seeing an enemy!
Snape, who initially intended to refuse, found his pitch-black pupils suddenly contracting sharply upon seeing the big black dog for an instant.
He thoroughly examined the big black dog, a twisted smile forming.
"Well," Snape shifted his tone, "But as I said before, I am Slytherin's headmaster, as a headmaster… I should indeed fulfill some outstanding student's reasonable requests."
With that, he pulled out a variety of colorful bottled Magic Potions from a drawer.
"Your old Professor is more than willing to help you, Miss Grindelwald…"
