The tip of Ares' sister Diana's sword was dangerously close to Axel's throat. He could feel the power radiating from both the sword and its wielder.
"Nile! What did you do?!" Axel shouted, not taking his eyes off Diana for even a second.
"I did what I had to do!"
Kinsey was the most confused person in the portal room. "Can someone explain what is going on?" she demanded, already activating her ice abilities and preparing for whatever might happen.
"Nile?"
Diana tilted her head, walking to the side while still pointing her sword at Axel. "You two should leave this place at once. Take your sleeping comrades and go. I will not let the demon bring harm to you," Diana said to Nile and Kinsey, never taking her eyes off Axel.
"He's our friend! Who are you?!" Kinsey yelled. An icicle formed in her hand, and her eyes turned ice blue.
Diana's stance faltered slightly upon hearing Kinsey's words. "Friend, you say?" she asked. "Since when did humans make friends with demons?"
