Lynn Blade was a second year student, attaining a rank of Lumina 5. Her history or background isn't very known except for the fact that she is a telepath. A very attractive telepath that was quite irresistible to the male gaze.
Her only disadvantage was the fact that she wasn't as strong as she had hoped to be when she joined the academy two years ago. After taking the test, she only ended up as a Lumina 3. A few months later, she grew to become a Lumina 5 where she remained stuck in for a year.
She trained and she fought and she sparred, did everything possible to increase her output in her telepathic abilities. Most telepaths did not just pry into the minds of people, they took control; mind control.
But Lynn Blade was not only unable to take full control in the mind of others, she was unable to pry into their mind. She could only see the surface thoughts, nothing underneath.
