Kyo decided to discuss his plan with Aoi Hoshino later, as he had to go home. He had received several messages from his parents and even from Daiki and Rina, asking if he had already finished what he needed to do.

It was already past ten o'clock at night.

'I stayed here much longer than I expected.'

Kyo then called Daiki and waited for him. While waiting, he listened to Aoi Hoshino's version of "Idol" once more together with her and Luke.

As soon as Daiki arrived outside, Kyo left the studio alongside Aoi Hoshino.

"Can you give me a ride home? My driver isn't available right now."

"That doesn't make any sense. Your driver is supposed to always be available to take you wherever you want," Kyo said with a laugh.

"I'm telling the truth~~ Come on, it won't cost you anything. Aren't you curious to find out where I live?"

"To be honest, not really."

With his hands in his pockets, Kyo calmly walked beside Aoi Hoshino. There weren't as many reporters as before, but there were still a few around. They immediately started taking pictures of the two together, and both of them kept smiles on their faces.

The security guards were protecting them.

Aoi Hoshino then got into the car with Kyo, and the vehicle immediately started moving.

"Phew, they're persistent, aren't they?" Aoi Hoshino let out a long sigh. "I don't like them. They're way too invasive. They follow me everywhere, even to my home. There's always a journalist waiting outside my apartment building."

"That must be annoying."

"It really is. I'm honestly surprised they still haven't figured out where you live."

"Thankfully. I live in a place without any security. That would be a problem."

"Wait, you live in a regular residential area?"

"Yeah, that's right."

"That's crazy…"

"I wasn't that famous until recently. Everything happened so suddenly. But I'll be moving soon. I'm already looking for a new house. Do you happen to know someone who sells houses?"

"Hmm, I have the contact information for the company that sold me my apartment, but they only deal with apartments."

"Hmm... I want a house, not an apartment. I want to build a music studio, and I don't want to do that in an apartment."

"You can just soundproof a room. Nobody will hear anything," Aoi Hoshino said with a shrug.

"Well, you have a point. Send me the company's number, please. I'll see if they have any apartments available."

"There are a few apartments for sale in the building where I live. We might become neighbors in the future."

"Who knows…"

Some time later, the car arrived in front of the building where Aoi Hoshino lived. She invited Kyo to come up and eat something together, but he declined. Kyo was extremely surprised by the size of the building.

It was located near the center of Tokyo and was incredibly luxurious.

"An apartment in a place like this costs a fortune…"

"Do you actually have enough money to afford something like this?" Daiki asked.

With a smile, Kyo replied, "Maybe…"

POV: Kyo

As soon as I woke up the next day, I sent a message to Aoi Hoshino to schedule another meeting with her, then headed to school. The moment I entered the school grounds, the other students immediately started approaching me.

"Hey, you met Aoi Hoshino yesterday, right? What's she like in person?"

"What does she smell like? Does she smell good?"

"You seem pretty close to her. Get me her autograph!"

I ignored all of them and headed to my classroom. As soon as I sat down, I received a message on my phone.

[I can't even get close to you. There were way too many people around :(]

It was from Miu.

[I really hate dealing with all of them. They keep saying unnecessary things.]

Miu read my message and replied.

[The teacher just arrived. Want to meet at the new bench for lunch?]

[Sure.]

Shortly afterward, my teacher entered the classroom as well. It was my science teacher. As soon as she walked in, she looked directly at me and smiled.

Then she announced to everyone,

"Today we'll be having a surprise test!"

Everyone in the classroom immediately became shocked and desperate.

As for me...

Resting my chin on my hand, I simply sighed.

Taking tests is annoying, especially when I always get perfect scores.

While I was eating my sandwich, Miu finally arrived carrying a bento. I was surprised since she rarely brought one.

"Did you make it yourself?" I asked.

She sat down beside me with a smile and said,

"Yes, I did. I'm actually pretty good at cooking."

"I see. I've cooked a few times myself. I'd say I'm pretty good at it too."

"Then why don't you make your own bento?" she asked.

"Because I don't like wasting time on that."

I shrugged and took another bite of my sandwich.

"I see."

She opened her bento. Inside were sausages, rice, an omelet, tomatoes, and several other vegetables. Her diet was definitely much healthier than mine.

Miu noticed me staring at her bento and asked,

"Do you want some?"

I accepted immediately.

"Of course. Aaaahhh~~"

I opened my mouth for her.

Miu looked flustered for a moment, but soon picked up a piece of omelet with her chopsticks and placed it into my mouth.

As soon as I tasted it, I was impressed.

"Hmm, it's really good."

"Hehehe, thank you. Here, eat this too."

Without me even asking, Miu brought a small tomato to my mouth. I opened my mouth and ate it.

She started feeding me.

Eventually, I had to refuse because there wouldn't be any food left for her.

She looked extremely happy watching me eat her cooking.

Would it be too much to ask her to prepare a bento for me every day?

'I guess I'm dreaming a little too big.'

"Oh, right. I saw those pictures of you with Aoi Hoshino. When will the song be released? You said yesterday that it was finished."

"I'll be meeting with Aoi again today. We're going to discuss the music video before releasing it."

"Hmmm, I see. I'm curious about it."

After that, we continued talking for quite a while before returning to our respective classrooms.

And when classes finally ended, I sent a message to Aoi telling her I was heading to the restaurant.

She replied immediately.

[I'm on my way there right now.]
