As soon as he heard my question, my father was visibly surprised. His eyes widened, and he was left speechless. Then I let out a sigh and said,
"Before you say anything, it's for a good reason. I don't have much privacy in this place, and it's only going to get worse over time. I also need more space."
I decided to explain all the reasons behind my desire before he could answer.
That way, I hoped to get a positive response from the start.
"Are you serious?" my father asked. "Do you realize how much money you're going to spend buying a new house? Your mother and I don't have the money to help you… You'll spend a huge portion of your savings… I'm not sure that's a good idea."
My father was worried about my future, but he was forgetting one thing.
"Dad, I'm only thirteen years old. I have an incredible future ahead of me. I'm planning new novels, new manga, the TV series I'm acting in is going to premiere soon, and I'm even going to enter the music industry. Do you really think I'm worried about the money sitting in that account?"
"..." My father was speechless. He knew I was right.
The money I would spend on a new house could be earned back within a few years.
No, the amount of money in that account would definitely become three or four times bigger within a few months or years. It would depend on how much I worked.
"As always, you're acting far too mature. Well, if you really want to buy a new house, I won't stop you. What did your mother say?"
"She said she doesn't mind moving."
"I see, then I'm fine with it too. But what are we going to do with this house?" My father looked around. "I bought this house years ago, I don't know if I want to get rid of it."
"You don't have to do that." I smiled at my father. "We can renovate this apartment and rent it out afterward. But that'll take some time. It's not that easy to find a house worth buying."
"You're right… It's better to do everything calmly."
"Alright, I'll start searching immediately. Keep an eye on your phone, I'll send you pictures of any houses I find. I know exactly what I want."
I was pretty confident that I could find a suitable house within two months at most.
Then, I returned to my room and opened several house listing websites.
Days passed, and I still couldn't find a decent house worth checking out.
Then, a new filming day arrived…
After finishing filming, Aya Fuji once again tried approaching me and even invited me to dinner, but I refused.
As soon as I got home, I started writing the third volume of "The Apothecary Diaries."
When bedtime finally came, a new message from Aoi Hoshino arrived.
Tomorrow was the day I would go to the studio with her so she could record "Idol."

Pov: Third Person
Kyo left his house in Daiki's car and headed toward the studio to meet Aoi Hoshino. While still in the car, Daiki asked,
"So you're going to the studio to record that leaked song?"
"That's right. Aoi Hoshino is going to sing it."
"Huh? I thought you were going to sing it." Daiki was visibly surprised.
"I don't plan on starting a singing career right now. I want to focus on my acting career."
"I see. But seriously, people are still talking a lot about that song, huh?"
Daiki was right. Ever since that video was uploaded to YouTube, it had continued gaining popularity. It even reached the charts for a few days before disappearing.
Though it wasn't ranked very high.
"I still receive some messages about it. Ah, that's right, Rina contacted me and said I received an offer to appear on one of those celebrity talk shows."
Surprised, Daiki said,
"Just because of the song?"
"I don't think so. I think it's because of my career as an author and also because I'm filming a series produced by a famous writer and director."
"And are you going to do it?"
"No," Kyo replied. "I don't want to participate in one of those shows right now. At the moment, I'll only listen to offers related to acting in a new series or a movie."
"I see." Daiki let out a sigh. "You're right to do that."
Then, the car finally arrived at the studio.
However, Kyo was surprised.
Outside the studio, there were many journalists. A huge number of them. They seemed to be waiting either for Kyo or for Aoi.
'But since Aoi said she's already inside, they're waiting for me.'
Daiki saw the crowd of reporters and said,
"I think you should stay here for now. I'll contact the security guards."
However, Kyo didn't care and opened the car door.
As soon as the door opened, one of the reporters saw him.
"There he is, it's Kyo Evans!"
Many reporters quickly rushed toward him. Camera flashes immediately started going off around Kyo as he calmly walked toward the studio entrance.
"Is it true that you're here to produce a song together with Aoi Hoshino?"
"Yes, that's true," Kyo replied.
"That video uploaded to YouTube, was it really you singing that song? Is that the same song you came here to record today?"
"Yes, exactly. However, Aoi Hoshino will be the one singing that song. I'm only here to support her and help with the production."
"Author, wasn't it actually you who uploaded that video to YouTube in search of attention?"
Hearing that question, Kyo was genuinely irritated, but he didn't show it.
"I wasn't the one who uploaded it." That was his only response.
After that, he managed to enter the studio.
The security guards at the entrance, who had been hired by Aoi Hoshino, did not allow the reporters to go any further.
Daiki, watching everything from inside the car, laughed.
"That kid is crazy."
