Filming was finally about to begin. Aya took her position, sitting across from a rookie actor like Kyo, whose name was Toya Mochizuki. He was playing the role of "Minami's close friend."

In this scene, the younger brother of her boyfriend, played by Kyo, ends up seeing the two of them together, which creates a misunderstanding. Kyo doesn't know Minami's friend, the character played by Aya Fuji, so the misunderstanding is quite believable.

Then Director Hayashida shouted, "Sound!"

"All set!"

"Lighting!"

"All set!"

"Cameras!"

"All set."

After confirming that everything was ready, the director shouted, "Action!"

As soon as he heard the director's words, Aya Fuji and her friend began talking. Their conversation was about how different their lives had become. Minami had just graduated from college and was working at a clothing store after failing to find a job in her field.

Meanwhile, Rei Kurosawa, the character played by Toya Mochizuki, had graduated from medical school and was already interning at a prestigious hospital.

The two were basically childhood friends.

Back in high school, Minami had been considered an intelligent girl, while Rei Kurosawa had been the "dumb" handsome guy. Life really is unpredictable.

As she listened to everything that had happened in Rei Kurosawa's life, Minami felt deeply jealous. However, she kept smiling the entire time. 'We live in completely different worlds. Not just him and me, but me and Ryota… We also live in different worlds.'

Her boyfriend came to mind.

A handsome man, hardworking, intelligent, with a bright future as a lawyer.

Minami couldn't understand how someone like Ryota had become interested in her after they met by chance at a bar.

"As I was saying, the internship—" Suddenly, Rei stopped talking and looked through the café's glass window. Then he said something to Minami, who turned around and saw Kyo—or rather, Sota Mizuno—looking at the two of them.

Minami's frightened expression made Sota's stomach twist.

It was as if he had discovered one of Minami's dirty secrets.

The thing Sota hated most was "traitors" and "liars," even though he himself was one.

He clicked his tongue and continued walking, but moments later Minami ran out of the café. "Sota! Wait!" she shouted, breathing heavily since she wasn't athletic at all and had moved far too quickly.

"You looked like you were having fun."

Kyo began saying his lines, which had been changed in the final script.

"You've got it all wrong, he's—"

Hearing Minami's words, Sota turned around with a disgusted expression and tears in the corners of his eyes.

Minami—or rather, the actress Aya Fuji—saw that expression and began to feel disgusted with herself.

No one had ever looked at her like that before. It was as if she were the most disgusting thing in the world. It was as if the actor Kyo Evans truly found her completely disgusting.

"Who do you think you are to deceive my brother?" Kyo took a step forward, getting very close to Minami and forcing her to step back. "You disgust me." Sota didn't give Minami any chance to explain herself.

He turned around and quickly walked away without looking back.

Minami kept staring at "Kyo Evans's" back, completely stunned.

Besides the flawless acting that left even the production staff speechless, this was also the moment when "Minami" realized that "Sota" wasn't who he appeared to be.

Her shocked expression was perfect!

Then she looked through the café window.

Rei Kurosawa was staring at her.

Minami quickly grabbed her phone and called Ryota.

She left as quickly as possible without even saying goodbye to Rei.

Right after that, the director shouted, "Cut! That was perfect!"

POV: Kyo

After finishing that scene, I returned to my dressing room to prepare for filming my own scenes. I still had three more scenes to shoot today. There was another set built inside the same studio, which was "my house."

In the next scene I'll be filming, Minami comes to my family's house to confront me for saying horrible things about her to my brother.

Sota said things like:

"She's a whore."

"You can't trust her."

"She's a slut."

Sota said many disgusting things about Minami to his brother. However, Minami had already spoken with Ryota over the phone before Sota got home. Ryota knows Rei, so he knows Minami wasn't lying.

Ryota then told Minami that Sota insulted her, and so she comes to "my house" to confront me.

Minami doesn't know Sota's true personality, so she feels deeply disappointed.

And Ryota? Well, he did it to show his girlfriend that she shouldn't trust his brother. Ryota likes his brother, but he doesn't trust him. Sota has an unpleasant personality and gets into trouble practically every single day.

"This is kind of weird. How does Minami not know Sota's true personality even after dating his brother for so long? And even if Ryota doesn't trust Sota, isn't it strange for him to 'betray' his own brother like that?"

Honestly, Ryota feels more like Sota's friend than his brother.

At first, they were very close, but they gradually drifted apart.

'The script really is… weak? I'd say some things just don't make sense.'

Sota's personality doesn't really make sense since he hasn't suffered at all in life. He has an unpleasant personality, but there's no explanation for it. His family is great, and he's never gone through hardship.

And the fact that only his mother, father, and brother know his true personality also doesn't make much sense.

'Well, Sota isn't a character who appears much. He only has four "major" conflicts throughout the entire series.'
