As soon as Aya Fuji entered the room, Kyo's mother immediately stood up and stepped away. She didn't like Aya at all and preferred pretending to be busy rather than showing her displeasure.

"Kyaaaa, it's so good to see you again after so long." Aya approached Kyo and messed up his hair. Well, it still hadn't been styled yet, so it was fine. "How have you been? Why didn't you contact me like I asked? I was so sad because of you."

"I've been very busy."

"Ah, right, I read the news that you ended up in the hospital because of overwork. You're overdoing it, you know? You're still so young, you should take better care of yourself."

"I am taking care of myself. I'm going to start going to the gym soon, and I'm trying to create a more 'healthy' routine." Kyo smiled at Aya.

"That's great to hear~~ But seriously, I was really sad that you didn't contact me. I even went out of my way to write my number down for you." Aya pouted, clearly disappointed.

Kyo then remembered the piece of paper Aya had handed him before he left the studio.

'Her phone number was on it? I put the paper in my pocket and forgot about it.'

Kyo smiled and said, "Hahaha, sorry, I ended up losing the paper with your number on it. Why don't you add your contact here?" Kyo handed his phone to Aya, who immediately added her number.

She also made sure to open his Instagram and follow herself.

"You weren't following me? What a disappointment~~"

"I always forget to follow people." Kyo smiled at her.

Aya then took her phone out of her pocket and added his number to her own phone. "Here, all done." She handed his phone back with a smile. "I'll message you tonight, okay?"

"Of course, I'll be looking forward to it." Kyo always tried to act as friendly as possible around her.

"I only came here to say hi. I'm going back to my dressing room now so I can get ready. I'm really looking forward to shooting with you today. That scene is going to be pretty dramatic, huh?~~"

Today was the day Kyo would film the scene he had recreated during his audition.

At first, they had decided to film it in public. They had rented out a café.

However, they eventually decided to film the scene inside the studio. Since the series had received a large investment, it was possible.

As soon as Aya left the dressing room, Kyo's mother said, "That woman is a predator. She likes you!"

"You're imagining things." Kyo said while smiling.

Soon after, the makeup artist entered the dressing room to prepare Kyo's makeup, and shortly after that, another woman responsible for his clothes came in.

After leaving his dressing room, Kyo was guided by a woman from the production staff to the location where filming would take place. When he arrived, Kyo was surprised by how well the set had been built.

They had set up green screens for the background, but the café itself was there, including the exterior.

There were also many extras waiting for shooting to begin.

Then Director Hayashida approached Kyo. "How are you feeling today, Kyo? Are you confident you can deliver the same performance from back then? Aren't the cameras making you nervous?" He smiled.

"You know very well that cameras don't affect me at all." Kyo laughed before saying, "Why didn't you want to film outdoors? Was it hard finding a café to 'rent'?"

Kyo was someone who asked a lot of questions, and Director Hayashida had gotten used to it.

"Something like that. We were negotiating with the owner of a café, but he ended up getting sick and couldn't sign the contract. But I think this is good enough. Filming outdoors would be nice since it makes everything feel more natural, but we'll have to use this set today."

"Well, it was built really well. I'm only shooting scenes here today, right?"

"Yes, exactly. The other actors will keep filming, but you'll be free to go home afterward. Unless you want to stay and watch the rest of the shooting. When you're here, the atmosphere gets lighter, so I'd appreciate it."

"I'm a very busy guy, Director. I can't do that."

"I see. Hahahaha." Hayashida laughed. "I'm going to check if everything's ready. Shooting will probably start in about ten minutes. You should talk to the extras, a lot of them are fans of your work."

After saying that, Director Hayashida walked away.

Kyo looked toward the extras, who were all gathered in one place.

He passed by several production staff members and approached the extras. As soon as he got close, the extras became visibly nervous. Not all of them, only some. The ones who knew who "Kyo Evans" really was were nervous and excited.

The others just saw Kyo as a rookie actor.

In that environment, Kyo was more "important" than them, but they didn't feel nervous around him.

If Aya Fuji were there, they would definitely be trembling!

Kyo was taller than her, so it was a funny sight.

Aya saw Kyo signing the cover of a volume of Overlord. One of the extras had brought it because they knew Kyo would be there today.

"You're making them nervous, Aya." Kyo sighed and finished signing the volume cover.

After handing it back, he stepped away, and Aya followed him.

"Sorry for interrupting your fun."

"I wasn't having fun. I just wanted to get to know them."

Kyo and Aya sat down and waited for shooting to begin.
