I'll post an extra chapter every 300 Power Stones. Good luck with that!

After opening the drawing app, I kept thinking about what to draw for a while. I definitely want to start with a classic. "Dororo is too old… how about something from the '80s?"
I want to try publishing a manga in Shonen Jump, which is also the biggest manga magazine in Japan in this world I'm in. The manga currently running in the magazine are surprisingly good.
There's a ninja series being published that's very similar to Naruto, but with lower quality, and there's also a newly released series that's quite similar to Jujutsu Kaisen. But to be honest, it feels more like a cheap copy.
The other manga in the magazine all share the same level of quality: average.
But even if the storytelling is mediocre, there are many talented artists in this world.
The author of the Naruto-like series called "Fire-Spitting Ninja" has very beautiful artwork. It reminds me a bit of the art style of the author of My Hero Academia. But something I found interesting is that the formula for shonen manga is identical to that of my previous world, even without the existence of Dragon Ball, which was one of the pillars.
Any work I copy from my previous world will succeed—I have no doubt about that.
So, I started drawing.
I think it's best to start with Dragon Ball. It's a long manga that I'll be able to continue for a long time. Besides, it will make me a lot of money… not that I need more than I already have.
Honestly, I'm just thinking about fame.
As for the art, I decided to make a perfect copy of Toriyama's style—or at least something very close. Changing Dragon Ball's art style would be a crime. To make my adaptation even more faithful, I could buy equipment and draw by hand…
But I don't have the patience for that.
It's better to draw everything digitally.
In just a few seconds, the paneling for the first page was complete, and I started drawing the characters and placing the speech bubbles in their proper positions. If a professional mangaka saw how I was doing this, they would panic.
It was as if I had taken the first page of chapter one of Dragon Ball and put it into a copy machine.
"It would be presumptuous to say my art is better than Toriyama's, but… this looks incredible."
And how long did it take me to make a page? Around 15 to 20 minutes?
I didn't just finish the drawings—I even did the dialogue, everything.
If I make chapters with an average of 35 pages, it would take me about 10 hours or maybe even less to finish each chapter. If I split those 10 hours over 3 days, I could maintain a weekly manga without any problems.
Actually, I think I could do it even faster.
I took a deep breath and started working on the second page.
My hand moved even faster and more efficiently. I didn't make a single mistake, and the second page was finished in 10 minutes. Actually, I think it was less than 10 minutes.
I smiled, satisfied, and looked at the two completed pages.
"Don't worry, Toriyama-sensei, I'll keep your legacy alive in this world."
And just like that, I managed to finish chapter 1 of Dragon Ball in a few hours.
The next day, I searched online about Shonen Jump and discovered something interesting.
They were holding a contest!
####
I immediately wrote an email and sent a digital copy of the first chapter of Dragon Ball. It was an online contest, and three artists would receive prizes. Third place would win 20,000 yen and get the chance to serialize their work on MANGA Plus, which also exists in this world.
Second place would also get the opportunity to publish on MANGA Plus, but with a larger cash prize of 50,000 yen.
And first place? In addition to receiving 100,000 yen, the winner would earn a spot in the main Shonen Jump magazine.
Looks like they're desperate for new works.
I did some research and saw that there have been many contests lately. That series called "Fire-Spitting Ninja" came from one of those contests and is now one of the best-selling manga in the magazine.
After sending the email, I stood up to stretch my body.
It was dark outside, and I hadn't had dinner because I was too busy.
"My mom must be mad."
I left my room, but everyone was already asleep. So I sat on the couch and turned on the TV to watch something since I wasn't sleepy. After choosing an American comedy series, I grabbed my phone and placed an order on Uber Eats.
I ordered a whole pizza just for myself.
That's another advantage of this body.
No matter how much I eat, I don't gain any weight at all. It's like everything turns into muscle. But I should start going to the gym—my body could look even better if I start training.
Since I'm starting my career as a model, it would be a good idea.
A few minutes later, my pizza arrived, and I kept watching the show while eating.
It's a fun series, but nothing amazing. It's about a woman who ends up in prison by mistake. Even though it's a comedy, it also has good moments of action and drama. It's a mix of genres.
It makes me want to write the script for Prison Break and sell it to Netflix or something.
After letting out a sigh, I thought:
'I should control myself and not do too many things at once.'
I turned off the TV after watching two episodes and went to my room. I opened a text file and started typing volume 2 of Oregairu because I wanted to get ahead. Unlike Overlord, this is a finished work.
That's why I'm so excited to complete it.
I'm curious to see what people in this world will think about the ending. In my original world, people were quite divided.
Who should have won, Yukino or Yui? Personally, I always liked Yui more.
Should I change the ending?
No—if I do that, I'd have to change the entire development of the previous volumes. Better not.
Then suddenly, my phone alarm went off.
"Huh?" I looked and saw it was already 6:30 a.m.—the time I usually wake up for school.
I had been so focused that I didn't even notice the time passing.
I started hearing my mother in the kitchen and got up. I went to the bathroom and noticed dark circles under my eyes.
"I shouldn't have stayed up all night. I'm tired…"
I gave a bitter smile.
