Suddenly, the anti-magic field threw the three fallen angels completely off their rhythm.
They felt their divine power, once fluid and swift, thicken like mercury, unbearably heavy and sluggish. Even suspended in midair, their bodies fell toward the ground as if gravity itself had doubled.
The sealing marks shot out like lightning—three precise hits, stamping each of the affected fallen angels with their own private mark.
Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle!
Their clothes tore apart…
And on each of their thighs, a glowing "Mark" shone brilliantly, catching the light.
The anti-magic field combined with the sealing marks was a perfect execution. Their divine power was instantly blocked, frozen mid-flow.
This was the moment Jack had been waiting for.
The Sword of the King blazed with light. Magic surged into it like a tidal wave. With a single, dazzling slash, he brought the blade down on the three fallen angels.
"Ah!!"
Caught completely off guard, the three fallen angels were forced to endure under the suffocating anti-magic, barely able to resist.
They all coughed up massive mouthfuls of blood in unison, trembling under the sword's unleashed power. Their clothes were shredded bit by bit under the assault, crimson streaks appearing across their skin.
Eventually, even the smallest scrap of modesty vanished. They stood drenched in blood, holding on with nothing but sheer willpower and their physical bodies.
There was no way they could withstand this.
Jack's gaze hardened, and he poured even more magic into the Sword of the King. The power surged, and under the anti-magic field, the three fallen angels had no strength to resist—they were blown across the battlefield, crashing onto the ground, bodies coated in blood.
Seeing them fall, unsure if they were dead or alive, Jack didn't hesitate. He surged forward, silver sword brimming with raw magic.
Killing intent exploded from him like wildfire. He would take advantage of their temporary unconsciousness and end them.
"You dare!!"
The two super angels and the remaining high-ranking angel froze in anger and shock. The tide of battle had flipped too quickly—they hadn't even had a chance to intervene before their three female allies were down.
There was no time to deal with Rias or Shino either. They desperately broke free and rushed to aid their comrades.
But Rias and Shino had been waiting for this moment.
Seeing the enemies distracted, the two women unleashed their full strength—not to kill, but to stop them from acting.
Magic surged like a storm. Scarlet flames roared out like angry dragons, scorching the tree leaves below. The heat was so intense it seemed the forest could ignite at any moment.
Shino matched her, summoning thunderclouds above. Golden bolts as thick as water buckets tore through the sky, cleaving space itself as they struck downward.
Faced with such ferocious attacks, the three male fallen angels' expressions changed instantly, fear flashing in their eyes.
"Damn it!!"
Forced onto the defensive, they fired light spears at Jack, hoping to disrupt him.
The next instant, fire and lightning engulfed them, and they were blasted back, pale and battered, thrown far across the battlefield.
Distracted and battered, they could barely endure the full force of Rias and Shino's attacks, clearly struggling to even stand.
And Jack? He didn't even dodge the incoming light spears. Instead, he raised the Shield of Divine Lament, taking all three hits head-on, determined to kill despite the punishment.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The three impacts exploded against the shield.
Even with two super angels attacking in unison, Jack was shaken. Divine power still seeped through, and he groaned as the force numbed his body. His left arm, infused with magic for the shield, felt like its bones were cracking.
But he held.
The Sword of the King struck without hesitation, the massive blade of light engulfing the three bloodied fallen angels.
No screams. No mercy. They vaporized instantly.
Meanwhile, Rias and Shino's attacks left the three male fallen angels battered and disheveled. They staggered out of the fire-and-lightning storm, spirits sapped.
And they saw it—Jack's single strike had annihilated three of their allies.
"How… how is this possible?!"
They could hardly believe it. No matter how they looked at him, Jack was just a low-ranking demon—and yet he had slain three high-ranking angels.
Even Rias and the others were stunned. They only meant for him to hold the enemy off, not outright kill them… and yet he had.
"Cough…"
Jack coughed up blood, the cost of taking three attacks head-on finally catching up with him. His body was numb, his magic nearly spent, and he wobbled slightly.
"Ah… Jack, I'll heal you!"
Seeing him bleeding, Asia panicked and ran toward him.
But a sharp cry cut through the moment:
"Asia! Don't go!"
The voice carried panic, snapping Jack's focus back.
From the side, a figure shot forward. In an instant, the attacker was at Asia's side, gripping her throat.
"Hey~~ The general's here!! Waka gakaka…"
Excited, gleeful laughter.
Jack and everyone tensed.
It was the Rogue Priest.
"Fried."
Jack's voice was cold. Seeing Asia in pain, he gripped the Sword of the King tighter.
"Ha! It's me! Didn't expect me here, did you? I've actually been here all along~~"
Fried's sinister laugh echoed. He'd been lying in wait, striking only when Jack and the fallen angels were locked in combat.
And it worked. Taking advantage of Asia's momentary separation from protection, he captured her instantly.
Rias and the others' faces fell. The fallen angels, stunned at first, now grinned in delight.
"Fried, well done!"
They laughed, grabbing the most important hostage, their ultimate prize.
Jack, however, subtly signaled Rias, Shino, and the others with a glance and a barely moving mouth.
The message was clear:
Full attack—now!
"..."
