Chapter 147 - Chapter 146: Villainous Lifestyle with Tomura

Kirio stretched his body as he came back into the human world, the air smelling of rotten meat as always. "So, how's my favorite little crew getting along. Toga, make any progress on your beloved? Dabi, you finally rip apart your goal to pieces?" The middle fingers they gave him were enough to make the demon smile.

"For your information, I've gotten quite close to Iruma-kins! We had a family day together with our little unicorn daughter." How sickeningly adorable. But at least he could make a joke about it.

"My, my, a daughter already? I haven't been gone for so long you lost your virginity have I?"

"Get your head out of the gutter, you despairing pervert. My love for Iruma-kins is completely pure!"

"So you've sucked more than just his blood?" The scowl and blush was so worth getting a knife thrown at him. Made him wish he did this more with Eiko and Clara. "And I see the place is looking nice. You'd think we'd be broke by now."

"Just killed the Mutant Rejection Clan and got a butload of cash from some quirkist geezers." Spinner shrugged. "The money is nice, but everyone keeps treating me like I went through some emotional obstacle. I literally don't give two fucks about quirkism against mutants."

"There there, push through the pain. No one here rejects you." Magne patted his head.

"I said I don't give two fucks!"

"You're accepted among friends! Get out of here you freak! We'll force the world to love you! Do the world a favor and die in a ditch! Shut up, we're nice! Nice as a pile of steaming shit atop of a trash heap!" Twice was definitely the best source of comedy amongst this group of clowns.

"We've also unearthed this gigantic conspiracy about several human right violations and killed a bunch of people in front of a live camera." Compress explained next. Oh, that sounded fun. Maybe he should give the internet thing a go, which would help with his global range.

"So final question...why are you all covered in bruises?"

"We've been fighting Gigantomachia." Dabi sighed. "Apparently the doctor won't help us any more until we can prove ourselves to that thing."

"Well you've all never looked better in anycase. The dark shades of purple really bring out your eyes." He snickered, trying to look for the only impressive human among these guys. "Where is the great leader?"

"Trying to figure out our next move. Sure the video is great for image, but he wants to do something bigger with another villain group." Toga explained. "Sadly despite the existing power vacuum, we haven't found any."

"Not to mention he's become a bit obsessive with taking down Gigantomachia." Spinner sighed. "The monster fights for forty eight hours straight and rests for three hours. Whenever we get too tired to move on, he just has Twice replace us with doubles while he stays."

He grinned. "I see, maybe I should throw my hat into the ring, offer a bit of assistance." Get the group moving for something big and great. Besides, what was one 'gigantomachia' supposed to be anyway. It was just a really long and complicated word to sound dramatic, right?

Gigantomachia laughed. "Best a demon can do?" He asked the body he just ragdolled. "Pathetic."

"I…I really…underestimated... how strong humans…can be..." The supposed demon muttered from the ground. "H-How the fuck have you been able to stand for the past month?"

"Spite. Pure, Raw, Spite." All For One's weak successor was barely able to stand. So sad, All For One could go three months fighting him and barely break a sweat. "At this point I'm considering decaying his arm, but I'm restraining myself on principle. The beast will fall, and he'll suffer for it."

"Never suffered ever since I met my master." He told the boy, shrugging off a fire blast. "Never weak since I met my master. Never fall since I met my master!" He threw another lazy punch that sent the scar boy into-through a tree. "You all pathetic, you have none of his strength."

"Yes…I get that. Sensei has been kind to me. Maybe too kind." The weakling looked at the hand that was covering his face. "I've barely moved since before the attack on the USJ, I let Sensei take care of all my needs. Well no more." The kid planted his hands on the ground to decay it. "From now on, I'm going to accomplish everything by my own power."

"Then back it up!" He shouted, throwing another punch. "Stop being weak!" Gigantomachia screamed, forests crumbling under the weight of his strength.

"Have you considered a fifteen minute break, he's got a lot more stamina than you apparently." The demon was a pussy.

"Heroes are all about Plus Ultra, aren't they? Since when do they take a break?" The weakling snickered. "Well, we're going beyond that, right? Into Entropy."

He threw out a kick on sheer instinct, hearing a snap as the young successor hit a wall, falling to the ground unconscious. "... Woops." His goal was to up the strength of this new group, not break them.

Re-Destro listened through the entire thing with a still face, the other members of the head brass gasping. "In conclusion, he's a horribly suffering human being ignored by weak ass laws while having a quirk passed on by All For One's arch nemesis, and motivates every League member to fight for the weak." Curious grinned. "Did I do good or did I do fabulous?"

"I frankly have no idea how to react to this at all, other than laugh at the fact the supposed Boogey Man created his own worst enemy." He chuckled. "So you got this from him, as he claimed that posting this would be our downfall somehow?"

"Yes, it goes back to Iruma Suzuki. Apparently the reason why HE was kidnapped was not only to steal back One For All, but because Tomura Shigaraki has some sort of soft spot for him." The woman laughed only louder. "Turns out a lot of the man's actions are because he wants to help the brat."

"So the boy was born quirkless..." Geten growled. "He should have just died like the bitch he was, being weaker than trash itself. I should have found him if only to gut the boy alive!"

He nodded. "And we will...however, we have options." Re-Destro turned to the group. "Now then, everyone gets one suggestion before I make the final decision...how should we proceed with this metaphorical bullet?" One that would shoot the current society straight in the face.

"Exposing this transferable power to the public will definitely send every villain, hell, probably every hero and civilian right to Suzuki's doorstep to rip it out of him." Trumpet noted.

"No, we should kidnap the brat and force him to give it to Re-Destero! Then kill him when he's quirkless again." Skeptic suggested.

"If All For One couldn't do that, what makes you think we can?" Curious had a point. "Let me interview him one last time, make him admit everything as I blow him from the inside out, before finally just decapitating him straight out."

"Messy but very fitting." Re-Destro nodded. "However, I believe there's some benefit in keeping him alive for just a little longer."

"Oh, really?" Curious tilted her head. "The guy who wanted him dead and got on my ass about it wants to keep him alive now?"

"As you said, he's one of the key motivations behind Tomura Shigaraki and his League. They've been getting far too popular for my taste, and the last thing I want is the public clambering for them to bring about a new revolution. So we dangle a carrot and force them to come to us." Re-Destro smiled. "Go ahead and create a few copies of your article, but don't release it to the public. There's a few 'proofreaders' I feel should see it first."

"Understood boss." She nodded, walking away as he turned to the others.

"Trumpet, Skeptic, get our men ready and our gear primed. We'll be having a starter war as a way to truly test how far we've gotten with our army."

"Understood, Grand Commander." Trumpet bowed, before standing up and walking out.

"Do I need to double down on power research as well?"

"No need, I believe there's another source that'll prove to be invaluable." He turned to the last member. "And Geten...get some ice cubes."

"Of course boss." There was no need to order around their strongest and most bloodthirsty member after all when it came to combat preparation.

Garaki sighed. "Alrighty then, let's give a roll call." He muttered. "Low Tiers numbers at one hundred and fifteen." So many available corpses when you had a guy in the morgue.

"Grrrr." Was the simple response of these ones. Nothing particularly special about them. Around two to three quirks within them, barely if any demon physiology on the inside. Could only overpower new pros, their main goal was numbers.

"Middle Tiers numbers at sixty seven." Slightly better, could overpower most pros not in the top thirty. Around three to four quirks inside of them. More demon blood, but nothing serious, just helped with body capability.

"Upper tiers at twenty three." These were some of his better works. Actually had wings and horns of a demon, along with mana and a stockpile of five to six quirks. Anything this high could handle super regeneration and was given the power of ten men. They could go toe to toe with the top brass.

Now came...the divide. From here demon bloodlines became too unstable around the mass of quirks made to function with the mind. Meaning he could either get his High Ends, or the Under Ends.

"High Ends at five, Near High Ends at six." The intelligent ones, who could take out even Endeavor if it was one on one through learning. All of them had six quirks and super regeneration, truly the superior works of quirk.

"Under Ends at three, Near Under Ends at Five." These were the demons that managed to gain quirks. However, their intelligence was that of a common Nomu. But they overcame the 'six quirk' limit on technicality, so he'd count it. They took forever to get working, but he finally managed a few. He'd have to thank the Six Fingers and Baal for those live subjects.

"And the masterpiece...the Beyond End." Only two models. They would have had more...if Ten and Nine didn't get away. Sadly this was the best they could afford, and one of them already had a mission. The perfect combinations of human and demon physiology. Multiple quirks and bloodlines working in near perfect unison, while at the same time keeping reasonably stable mental stability.

And the demon side even helped, instilling instincts beyond human limit, pure combat potential..."A shame it takes too much effort for practical use." But this would be enough, when Shigaraki finally toughened up and became the true successor. He'd give the man the world itself.

Giran tosses the package up and down. A lot of money was paid to hand it unopened, even if the X Ray showed that it was only a recorder. It wasn't exactly the weirdest thing he's ever been given, but he didn't get this far into the underworld by underestimating simple things.

And he wasn't worried about tracking, nobody ever remembered his face, or at least the specifics. It was the perfect quirk for an information broker that wished to stay anonymous. Walking into the latest crib, he noticed the ruffed up condition of the group in question, Tomura looking more annoyed than ever.

"That crutch character would be perfect for taking on Tartarus...but here we are unable to deal even scratch damage to convince the battle maniac." The decay villain kept a determined glare, but otherwise looked defeated. "That bastard is just lucky I need him alive for what I need next."

"Are we sure he's human?" The blue haired enigma asked. "He's far too large and his quirk doesn't even seem to correlate to size...if he has one."

"The Doctor explained a few details when I sent Hood to kill Endeavor." Dabi groaned. "Apparently Gigantomachia's body is naturally capable of holding multiple quirks."

"Because you all seem incapable of withstanding two." The horned kid laughed.

"Oh, like you're better than us." Toga flung a single droplet of blood from a knife towards the horn boy's face, who avoided it like the plague. "All it takes is one drop of sweet life juice and you start crying like a wounded animal."

"Ah, if only I could harm Deku like that...maybe his friends, that gets him angry." The boy laughed. "So what's the latest batch of information, friend?"

"Supposedly a gift from an anonymous benefactor." Giran presented the package before them. "It's not an explosive from what I check, so they're not looking to immediately kill you all from what I can tell."

"Hurray Christmas present! If it's coal I'll kill everyone. " Twice jumped in and ripped the thing up. "Aww, it's just an old timey recorder." The man sighed. "I hate the outdated stuff. Retro is super cool!"

"All that trouble from this?" Tomura looked it over. Cautiously, the boy picked it up, probably unsure if he should play or disintegrate it.

"Maybe we have a fanboy?" Magne shrugged. "Or girl. Oh, what if it's something erotic?"

"Please, we already have enough perverts in this group, we don't need fuel to feed that fire." Compress sighed. "I'm more concerned about how they knew Giran would be able to give this to us."

"Yeah, it was freaky. They threatened to cut off my fingers if I opened it before I gave it to you guys." He shuddered. "Since then, I've had this feeling of being constantly being watched."

"… You weren't followed right?" Tomura asked in a voice with a hint of 'one hundred and ten percent done with this shit' in it.

"That I did make sure of." Giran noticed a drone or two in the sky from time to time, but he felt like he'd live a longer life if he didn't mention it.

Shrugging the message was played. "Hello League of Villains."

"Hello tiny voice box. Your buttons are stupid."

"I've heard about you guys having a connection with a bit of a news story we're about to post and felt you should be great proofreaders."

"I actually thought about being a writer at one point." Compress admitted. "I'd publish my real life exploits for the public, but I scrapped the idea when I realized it would be too incriminating."

"That Gentle guy filmed his crimes and got away with it." Toga shrugged

The man in the recording cleared his throat. "Iruma Suzuki, Threat or Menace." That shut everyone right up. "Wielder of One For All, a transferable quirk given to him by All Might, born quirkless into a society where heroes couldn't help him. Charming so far? Have I made a grammatical error?"

"One For All…" Tomura repeated the phrase with both reverence and scorn. "The opposite of Sensei... that's the connection…" The decay villain's gaze became more and more sour. "You found him at his lowest, didn't you All Might?"

"Just like Deku-kun and Sullivan." The horn kid said distastefully.

"Bred and conditioned from the moment he was born to never deny a single request, no matter how deprived, dangerous, or life threatening it would be to his personal safety. Supported his parents with over two hundreds jobs since he was three, brainwashed to always respond to any cry of please, help, and begging."

"So we could have just said please and he would have joined us?" Compress asked. "It seemed so simple."

"It wouldn't have been right..." Toga muttered. "It wouldn't have been him..."

"Such a bad life, I'm surprised he didn't join right away." Dabi muttered.

"He couldn't…because All Might was there…" Tomura couldn't have looked more disgusted. "He used him…he forced him to accept this terrible society."

"Now he lives at UA, training to be a hero like the rest of society as a weapon for the government, for any villain to attack as if they had before, for any hero to mess up." The voice continued. "So please, come to Deika City and let us know your thoughts within three days...the Meta Liberation Army is very excited to meet you." The recording ended.

"Wow, I have no idea how to respond to that." Magne looked bewildered.

"Isn't it obvious, they're picking a fight with us." Spinner deadpanned. "They want us to fall into their trap."

"If we don't do anything, they'll go after the kid. Let them tear the bastard apart!"

"Should we even be worried about him? Brainwashed or not, he's on the side of the heroes." Dabi reminded them.

"He's still our friend, we've gotta warn him or something." Toga tried to argue.

Tomura crushed the device in his hand, turning it to dust as he glared. "... They want the League of Villains?...Fine, we'll show them what it means to declare war..." Tomura stood tall. "In three days we'll tear Deika City to the ground."

"How are we going to do that with the giant bastard still gunning for your head?" The horn kid raised an eyebrow. "Isn't he able to sense wherever you are?"

"When he rests, we'll head out and lead him right to them." Tomura stated firmly. "The only question then will be if there'll be anything left for Gigantomachia to destroy." The man's fingers twitched. "I'm feeling really destructive."
