"Look, I'm not married to Charles Kosonen, so please stop calling me Mrs. Kosonen," Kaija muttered tiredly.
She sat before a massive illuminated mirror while the purple-haired man behind her lifted sections of her hair with near-religious fascination, studying them from every angle like an artist evaluating priceless silk.
"I'm afraid Mr. Kosonen made it very clear that we address you as Mrs. Kosonen whenever you come here, my lady," Kenji replied brightly.
A weary sigh slipped out of Kaija.
'That man is seriously insane.'
"Does he do this with every girl he brings here?" she asked flatly.
Kenji's hands stopped mid-motion.
Through the mirror, one sharply groomed brow lifted toward her.
"What are you talking about, Mrs. Kosonen?" he asked. "You're the first woman Mr. Kosonen has ever brought here, and he's been my regular client for years."
Kaija hummed softly, unconvinced.
Charles certainly acted far too smooth to feel inexperienced in any area involving women.
