"Tsunade!" Jiraiya shouted out loud as soon as things settled between Haruto and Tsunade.
Tsunade didn't respond immediately, instead she performed a few handseals before slamming her palm on the ground causing various seals to erupt from underneath Haruto.
A small cloud of smoke later, Haruto found himself lying on a rather soft, plush, and comfortable bed.
'Bed?'
'Wait… no that's not right.' Haruto thought as he looked underneath himself.
"Woah!!" Haruto exclaimed as he saw two dangly stalks holding eyes at the top that were looking right at him.
"Tsunade-sama?" A sweet and melodious voice spoke out from below those eyes as Haruto quickly realised who it was that was speaking to Tsunade.
"Katsuyu hide the brat riding you."
"Yes Tsunade-sama."
Haruto without his permission suddenly found himself getting engulfed into Katsuyu's slimy body as it separated underneath him and covered him entirely.
"Woah! Woah! Hold on! Is this safe!? Me being eaten by a talking slug!? Do you hate me so much that you want an animal to eat me!?" Haruto complained, causing Tsunade's brows to twitch.
But she didn't say anything, letting Katsuyu quickly hide Haruto as people began arriving at the location where she and Haruto had just crashed.
She simply stepped forward and hid Haruto from everyone's view until he was consumed by Katsuyu.
And before any more people gathered she simply picked up the piece of Katsuyu she'd summoned to hide Haruto and used the body flicker jutsu to vanish.
Jiraiya looked at Fugaku apologetically and vanished along with Tsuande, leaving him to handle the cleanup.
Eventually, a distance away, Tsunade along with Shizune and Jiraiya stopped, having picked up Shizune on the way. Tsunade looked at Jiraya and spoke quickly, "Get Kakashi here."
"Kakashi? Sakumo-san's son? But why?"
"Just bring him here Jiraiya. I'm in no mood to talk."
Jiraiya looked at Tsunade with indignation before sighing and nodding, "Alright, I'll bring him here."
"How did you destroy that meteorite Tsunade-sama? Where's the boy? Did something happen to him?" Shizune asked Tsunade with wonder and a healthy dose of fear in her eyes.
Tsunade looked at her with exhaustion and spoke softly, "Wait for a minute Shizune… everything will become clear in a few minutes. The boy's safe, he's inside Katsuyu."
"Yes, Tsunade-sama." Shizune nodded before waiting patiently by the side.
Jiraiya soon arrived with Kakashi in tow.
"Tsunade-sama? You requested to see me?" Kakashi asked politely with a short head nod.
"Did you teach Haruto an explosion jutsu and a jutsu for flight?" Tsunade didn't delay one bit before firing away the questions most important to her right now.
Kakashi's eyes widened, not once but twice.
Once when he realised Tsunade was questioning him about Haruto and a second time when he put two and two together before realising that the shooting star in the sky earlier was none other than Haruto.
"Tsunade-sama… did Haurto really do that? But he doesn't have enough chak-"
"Did you or did you not teach him that flying jutsu and an explosion jutsu?" Tsunade cut off Kakashi and asked him the question again.
"No, Tsuande-sama… but I know who might've." Kakashi said softly, controlling himself since he slowly understood why Tsunade was asking him this question.
After all, she'd pursued this line of questioning with him earlier as well.
"I know 'Him' well and I know that 'He' doesn't have any jutsu like this. If he did he wouldn't have remained a desk paper pusher for the last few decades of his life." Tsunade said bluntly before Kakashi could even take Hiruzen's name.
"Wait wait wait who's 'Him'? Is Haruto that boy you saved? Did he perform the jutsu that wiped out the meteorite? Why are you so suspicious of a mere kid!? He should be celebrated! He's a miracle worker!" Jiraiya suddenly interrupted.
Tsunade looked at Jiraiya for a second and then spoke with narrowed eyes, "The boy says he learnt the jutsu he used to perform that miracle from Kakashi."
"Kakashi?" Jiraiya turned to look at Kakashi so Kakashi explained ahead, "He thinks I'm the one that taught him because the Third Hokage took on my appearance as a disguise when he chose to teach Haruto as a new disciple."
"The old man did that? Why didn't you tell me before!?" Jiraiya exclaimed.
But Tsunade shut him up with a simple question, "Do you really think sensei would've known such jutsu?
And on top of everything, when I shared my massive amounts of chakra with the boy, he handled it flawlessly, not letting an ounce of it go to waste!
Do you really think a boy as young as eight can handle chakra better than a Kage!?"
"But… Tsunade-sama…" Kakashi started, "If Haruto really knew such a jutsu beforehand and is really as skilled as you claim him to be, why did he get involved in so many near death situations?"
Tsunade frowned.
Seeing Tsunade still holding onto her suspicions, Kakashi explained further, "Haruto-kun was involved in an explosion with a spy that nearly took his life. It was determined at the time that Haruto miscalculated the radius of explosive tags and nearly died.
I remember seeing him back then, had I not saved him in time, he truly would've died."
"But he didn't die did he?" Tsunade said bluntly, "Maybe he knew someone would definitely arrive and save him like you did, so he nearly killed himself.
And what of that spy who was blown up with the explosive tags, did you find him? What if Haruto here was trying to hide evidence by blowing up the body and then shifting attention by getting caught in the blast radius?"
Jiraiya sighed at this moment, "Do you really think an eight year old is capable of that Tsunade? I was eating my boogers at that age and getting my butt handed to me by Orochimaru at the academy! Just think!"
"I don't know why Jiraiya… but my instincts say he's the same person who keeps stealing my body! And I want justice!"
"Stealing your body!?" Jiraiya suddenly became baffled.
"Ah…" Kakashi coughed before explaining about the stranger who kept feeding them information about various things while they were planning the rebellion and Jiraiya blushed.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
"What was that for!?" Jiraiya squealed in pain as three bumps formed on his head.
"I got the feeling that you were thinking something perverted." Tsunade said calmly while blowing the steam off her knuckles.
"How did you kno- I mean I wasn't!"
"Hmpf. Anyway, the man even admitted to me that he was the one who turned Danzo into a dog. So if we don't stop him now, who knows what might happen to this village in the future." Tsunade complained.
Jiraiya controlled the pain in his head by rubbing it for a few seconds before speaking up.
"So? What do you think we should do? Do you want me to tail him for a while? I'll be in the village for the next few weeks, I can follow him during that time if you want."
"I want to read his memories." Tsunade said plainly, causing everyone's eyes to widen.
"But Tsunade-sama… that will break Haruto's trust in us…" Kakashi tried to reason while Jiraiya nodded. "Let me tail the brat for a while, if he truly is someone suspicious we'll know immediately.
For example, the boy can't be awake when he uses spirit transformation jutsu. If he always appears to take over your body during the same time as when he's asleep, then we'll know it was him."
Tsunade frowned, she thought about it for a second and then shook her head.
"We don't need to make this complicated, get a Yamanaka here right now, I'll knock the boy out, we can read his memories and then once we find out whatever there is to find out, we can leave him alone!"
"You're the same as when we were kids… nothing really can change your mind once you set onto something, can it…" Jiraiya said.
"Hmpf. If you knew that you shouldn't have tried convincing me otherwise and wasted time in the first place." Tsunade said arrogantly before continuing.
"Now call Inoichi here. He should be around, probably coming back to the Yamanaka compound."
