Chapter 154 - Ninety Five.

Tsunade spoke gracefully, "I won't beat around the bush Inoichi, I'm after your Mind Body Transmission Jutsu."

Inoichi's pupils narrowed to pin pricks almost immediately.

"Tsunade-sama…" the man started, speaking through clenched teeth as if he were restraining himself, but before he could say anything else Tsunade interrupted.

"Don't waste your breath on arguments, I don't want to learn the jutsu myself, nor do I want you to teach it to someone not a yamanaka."

Inoichi slumped, "Then…?" His gaze swept the two other people in the room, Shizune and Haruto as he tried to grasp Tsunade's intentions.

However it seemed that other than Shizune's frown and Haruto's smile he couldn't get anything from them.

Tsunade spoke calmly, "How much do you know about computers?"

Inoichi frowned and said, "Not very much. All I know is that they can be used to store data like brains and are used for accounting purposes in the village."

Tsunade turned to look at Haruto with her brows raised, her chin gesturing that it was now his turn.

Haruto gulped for a second before speaking calmly, "Unlike brains which communicate through electrical impulses, computers communicate through states, on or off, which they use for this purpose.

What we need the communication jutsu for is to establish a link between the computers themselves by allowing them to communicate with each other."

"Huh?" Inoichi looked at Haruto for a second before speaking with a surprised look on his face, "Have you figured out a way for chakra to interact with computers? I remember there were experiments carried out but all failed before."

Tsunade nodded, "They failed because they were using seals. His method is novel, it uses shadow clones that can read the state of a wire.

Your communication jutsu will be used by the clones to communicate that information between each other to establish the link."

Inoichi frowned, "I'm afraid that's not quite possible."

"Oh? Why?" Tsunade asked the question in both her and Haruto's minds.

Inoichi spoke with his brows furrowed.

"Unfortunately the jutsu doesn't work with shadow clones since it requires the entire mind to work but shadow clones have quite inferior minds since they're mere copies of originals and not exact replicas."

Tsunade turned to look at Haruto for a solution and Haruto smiled, "That's an easy fix."

"Oh? How will you fix that?" Inoichi asked.

"If you only want more bandwidth from the brain then all you need is for the personalities of the shadow clones to be deleted so that there is more than enough space in the copied mind to complete the task."

"As far as I know that's not quite possible with shadow clones, do you already have a variation that makes it possible?" Inoichi asked with his brows raised.

"I do." Haruto nodded, "I'll need a brush and a scroll to explain to you the special shadow clone jutsu I want to use, then when you create the shadow clones while thinking about the communication jutsu they can also communicate with each other."

Inoichi called out to a maid standing just outside the room before ordering her to bring in a scroll and a brush with a pot full of ink.

The items arrived and Haruto diligently scribbled the details of the jutsu on the scroll before handing it over to Tsunade and Inoichi to read.

Both of them read the jutsu details and performed the jutsu at the same time.

With a small puff of smoke a miniature Tsunade and a miniature Inoichi appeared on the table in between them.

The clones were only about three centimeters tall.

Both the clones looked rather dumb and Tsunade was the first to notice the changes.

Tsunade spoke up softly while looking at her clone dumbly standing there on the table before stumbling over nothing and falling on its butt.

"How did you change the shadow clone to not copy the entire personality of the user? We used the same tenketsus as the original jutsu didn't we?"

Haruto nodded his head, "Kakashi-sensei taught me about it when he taught me the shadow clone jutsu since I didn't have enough chakra to perform it back then, it was a way to cut down on the chakra cost.

It also doesn't take a lot of chakra if you've noticed. It doesn't split half the chakra with the caster and only uses a small fraction of your chakra unlike a regular shadow clone."

Tsunade and Inoichi nodded, "I noticed." both reevaluated Kakashi subconsciously but looking at the scroll Tsunade became slightly suspicious of a different matter.

'Their handwritings are the exact same…'

'Although there are some changes… those are only surface level changes, the writings are not entirely different styles…'

'Different styles made by someone that doesn't really understand forgeries…'

Haruto then looked at Inoichi and nodded.

"It seems you've got the shadow clone jutsu down, now simply create a new shadow clone just like the one before but order it to use your jutsu and then transmit a message to the other clones, both yours and Tsunade-sama's."

Inoichi nodded and created a second clone with a new command.

The new clone, still slightly dumb looking, formed the ram hand seal and closed its eyes, all of a sudden the Tsunade chibi and Inoichi chibi clones opened their eyes wide and shouted out loud.

""To a hundred miles east or a thousand miles west, Ino is the best!""

Haruto cracked a smile at Inoichi's behaviour as did Tsunade and Shizune.

But Inoichi was the most surprised of them all.

"Wait! It worked! The jutsu was performed through the shadow clone!" Inoichi instantly shouted out loud.

Inoichi looked at Haruto with eyes as wide as saucers but Haruto simply shrugged his shoulders, "If you've got anyone to thank for this, it's Kakashi-sensei, he taught me this."

Tsunade however was not convinced and she eyes Haruto suspiciously.

A second later however her expression returned to normal before anyone noticed what it was like as she spoke in a serious tone.

"Then… Inoichi… I don't think you'll short us on the payment for this new development?"

Inoichi's eyes narrowed as he settled back into proper seiza immediately.

"What would you propose Tsunade-sama?"

Tsunade looked at Haruto for a second before speaking with Inoichi in a serious manner.

"I'd like for you to handle the business but hand over ninety five percent of the profits for the first year, after which we can negotiate and adjust the profits once again."

Haruto nearly choked on his spittle.

'Ni- Ninety five percent!?'

'Who starts a negotiation like that? We just started!'

'Does she intend to fail it on purpose?'

Inoichi choked too as did Shizune on the side.

Tsunade seemed to have realised her mistake after speaking out her wishes out loud, but she didn't want to seem like she had made a mistake and didn't know about such matters so she stood her ground.

"Ninety five percent, you heard that right."

Cough Cough

Inoichi coughed into his hand for a second before understanding that Tsunade was simply waiting for a counter offer.

But he also realised that no matter what he said now Tsunade would only try and drag the negotiation to her absurd ninety five percent.

So there was only one thing left to do.

"No Tsunade-sama, a more reasonable number would be five percent!" Inoichi said in a righteous tone.

Haruto sighed.

'This is going to take forever isn't it…'
