Haruto was overjoyed.
No overjoyed did not explain what he was feeling at the moment.
Haruto was ecstatic.
Haruto saw the characters of the three cards and found each one to be a mind numbing personality.
The first character card, a silver one, had a yellow ball showing up in the face of the card, much like an emoji. His eyes were two little dots and he had a full teethy smile.
A two fingered tentacle floated in view as the character inside gave him a confident smirk.
Then the character vanished from the card, presumably entering the Character Template Inventory Space.
Haruto's gaze shifted to the next card, a gold card.
In it was a young boy whose entire face was darkened because of the flames burning all around him. The situation honestly looked quite scary since the boy might have burnt down with the flames around him.
Yet creepily, the boy was still grinning.
The boy's red eyes matched Haruto's gaze before he too vanished from the card by disintegrating into bluish sparks.
Haruto's gaze then shifted to the final card, the copper card.
In it was a simple man wearing a lab coat.
He was posing with his hands crossed in the air while peering through the gap between them.
Haruto's heart raced looking at his favourite chunni character in a card.
The man's lab coat ruffled in the wind before he too vanished in a swirl of numbers.
Haruto looked at the gloved hands that were resting calmly after the draws and spoke quickly, "Thank you! I love you! Whoever you are!! You are the best!"
"Fu~!" Haruto swore he heard someone cheer from behind the desk but much to his chagrin the cheer died out immediately once the person realised what they were doing.
"Alright! Time to greet my new tenants." Haruto said before leaving the Template Roulette Deck space and entering the Template Inventory Space.
As soon as Haruto arrived there he spotted the three new people standing right in front of everyone else present.
"Hello!" Haruto exclaimed, unable to contain his joy.
"Um… hello?" the lab coat-wearing man said for a second before coughing out loud and taking up the dramatic pose once again before speaking in a heavily accented English much to Grindelwald's amusement.
"Hello! My name is Hooin Kyouma! I am a Mad Scientist! El Psy Congroo."
"El psy congroo Okabe-san!" Haruto exclaimed while Megumin already looked at the man with stars in her eyes.
Suddenly a slightly nasal voice interrupted, "You must be Haruto then… greetings."
It was the character who was completely yellow and whose head looked like an emoji.
"Koro-sensei!" Haruto exclaimed, causing Koro-sensei's face to turn orange with a red circle appearing on it.
"Correct. That would be my name to you young man." Korosensei said.
Haruto then turned to the final character he had just drawn and spoke calmly with his hands brought together in prayer.
"Latom."
The character tilted his head before raising his hand in prayer, "Latom. My name's Shinra Kusakabe."
"Do you guys already know what has happened till now and what is yet to happen?" Haruto asked.
"Erm… I was informed that as long as I let you defeat the final boss, I will be given the solution to save someone I want to save." Okabe said with a cough, he looked weary as he said that.
Now that Haruto looked at him closely, he realised that Okabe hadn't shaved properly for a while now with all the stubble on his face. There were eye bags around his face and he looked weary.
"You're from the timeline that failed?" Haurto asked curiously.
"Timeline that failed… you mean there's one that succeeded!?" Okabe asked immediately, spirit filling his voice.
"Yes. You simply stabbed yourself to create fake blood at the scene after knocking Kurisu out with a stun gun. Of course you only got the idea after the Beta world line you sent a message back in time."
Okabe's eyes widened.
"Yes! It was so simple! I just had to fool fate to get what I wanted! Why did I never realise it till now!!"
"Don't worry, you'd have realised it eventually and done the deed." Haruto comforted the man.
"Thank you." Okabe quickly said, and he truly meant it, there were tears in his eyes but he was trying his best to keep it together after he'd tortured himself day and night for the past decade and a half.
"Korosensei, what about you? Did they promise you a way to go back to your world and meet your students afterwards?"
Korosensei looked wistful for a second, if that was even possible with his emoji face, but then he spoke calmly, "No. I heard there was another student that needed my help so I accepted their offer."
"Ha~! How very like you!" Haruto said with a chuckle.
"What about you Shinra?" Haruto turned to Shinra who was grinning wildly.
"Erm… my brother killed me accidentally… so the gods promised me that I can resurrect in the fight and continue living."
"I see… so you're in that fight with Sho… did you unlock light speed movement yet?"
"Huh?" Shira looked confused about it but Haruto just shook his head.
Shinra had been pretty clueless about his own powers during the fight after forming an Adola Link, he'd just tried going faster and faster and before he knew it he was travelling past the speed of light.
Haruto then proceeded to, with the excited help of Megumin and a little help from Unohana and Grindelwald, fill in everyone new on what had happened, what was supposed to happen and what was yet to happen.
It put a frown on all their faces with Korosensei being the most prominent of them all since he turned deep blue and began sweating profusely.
"You've got a tough assassination in front of you Haruto-kun. But if I could be assassinated, then you can also assassinate the Otsutsuki!"
Haruto chuckled, "I hope I can… after all… if I can't it'll be the end of my adventure… and I'd like to return home if possible too, which I think I can only do after defeating whoever I have to defeat in this world."
"Ne~ Ne~ Can you do some super cool explosions too!?" Megumin quickly cozied up to Okabe and asked him the question.
Okabe, somewhat surprised by Megumin's sudden question, appeared startled before he quickly posed once again, "The dark flame that is sealed in my eyes has given me a burden that very few can bear."
Megumin's eyes sparkled.
Haruto smiled softly before turning Megumin around to face Shinra.
"He's the one that works with fire, and he's pretty damn good at it too. Want to show her what you can do, Shinra?" Haruto asked the human with the moniker of the devil patiently.
Shinra simply rubbed his finger with his nose before grinning wildly and nodding.
He took a quick stance with his fingers forming a hand seal before there was a soft bzz as Shinra literally vanished.
Unohana's eyes ripped wide open.
Her mouth hung a little loose as Haruto noticed her hands inching towards her sword.
'Damn…'
Now in the air, Shinra's figure became visible once again with two flaming jets visible from the base of his feet.
But he didn't stop there.
Shinra sped back towards the ground, vanished from his position once again before slamming to a stop right in front of Megumin with his flames shooting in all directions to force him to stop.
If Megumin had stars in her eyes before, now she held the whole galaxy in them.
