Gravity crushed the streets, ice crystals destroyed buildings.
The battle scene between Kagura and Leon was both stunning and grand.
A variety of Ice-Make appearances took turns showing up, each swordsmanship move demonstrating incredible power and both attacking and defending.
The two fought hard, but ultimately Leon was one move short and fell to the ground unable to get up.
Kagura let out a long breath, evidently not relaxed either.
Just then, Kagura heard movement above and quickly looked up, only to see a strong white light.
She instinctively raised her hand to cover her eyes and jumped back a long distance on reflex.
But it was already too late.
Stinger was in mid-air, spraying a white breath that enveloped Kagura.
After landing, without giving her any chance to react, he immediately stepped forward and added a punch.
Seeing Kagura fall and a white imprisoned Holy Mark appearing at the location of the punch, Stinger then withdrew from Dragon Power state and stepped toward the direction where Magic Power was most noticeable.
On the commentary platform, Jabadi looked at the scoreboard and the remaining people on the field:
"The situation of the match seems pretty clear, Stinger is unlikely to defeat two teams with ten people, right?"
"Hmm... we can probably already congratulate Fairy Tail." Yajima said casually,
"Before the match, some people were worried that if Fairy Tail's two teams cooperated, the advantage would be too great... Turns out even with individual battles they have already secured the top two positions, there's no need to cooperate."
Pumpkin Man felt he was being pointed at: "Yes, yes, pumpkin..."
But Stinger was not giving up yet.
If he had a choice, he wouldn't want to carry out the lady's plan, but for Rekete he had no choice but to continue despite the pressure.
Even if it relied on sneak attacks, he had to score as much as possible, and at least defeat a few members of Fairy Tail.
At this point, the two Fairy Tail teams had already started fighting.
Canyon Vanguard, under Gajeel's instruction, charged directly at Erza.
Jubia chose Gray as her opponent without hesitation, and when she took action she was very serious, starting off with a wave big enough to engulf the street:
"Gray-sama, this is a technique only usable after unlocking the Second Magic Source, accept Jubia's affection! Sea of Love!"
"What kind of ridiculous name is that!" Gray shouted while trying to freeze Jubia's water.
The two originally had equal footing in Magic Power, but Wendy broke the balance: "Full Attribute Ability Enhancement!"
The light on Jubia's body flashed, and the surging tsunami instantly became more violent, within moments destroying the hard ice, sweeping Gray and the ice shards away together.
"Waaah... damn it!" Gray's unwilling voice temporarily disappeared at the end of the street.
"Sorry, Gray-san." Wendy apologized softly.
Meanwhile, Gajeel had also exchanged a few punches with Kana.
The Iron Dragon retreated feeling disgruntled, shaking his hand, "Damn it, when did your fist become so hard?"
Kana lazily took out a bottle of wine from her bag, but relying on strong self-control, she put it back, opting instead to take out a few cards, smiling:
"Don't forget whose daughter I am, if you underestimate me, you'll be shattered."
On the other side, Erza used dual swords to counter Canyon Vanguard's charge, getting pushed back a few meters.
Originally planning to change into Purgatory Armor to slash it, she suddenly thought that this thing might still be useful after the match.
So Erza jumped, stepped on Canyon Vanguard's head to spin over, and while hanging upside down in mid-air, swiped its back twice with the swords, then flipped and landed beside Kana.
Canyon Vanguard understood and disappeared—those two slashes probably hit the 'Vanguard's Eye'.
"Two against three, seems unfavorable for us." Kana acted very relaxed, she just wanted to get off work early now.
"No way!" Gray's voice came from the end of the street, "It's three against three!"
Everyone turned their heads and saw a soaking wet naked man sprinting over.
Wendy shyly covered her face.
Jubia held her face, trying hard to restrain her emotions for victory.
Another voice came from the street end behind Kana: "It's five against three! I'm fired up!"
Lucy waved at Erza: "We're here too!"
Gajeel started to look uncomfortable, he wasn't arrogant enough to think he could handle a three against five.
With other guilds it's possible, but within his own guild, these guys are indeed troublesome, one by one.
Seeing the A-team gathered, Wendy felt a bit panicked: "What do we do?"
Jubia suggested: "It's better to retreat and rendezvous with Mr. Rhode first, right?"
"Forget it!" Natsu immediately dashed over, "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"
"Iron Dragon Staff!" Gajeel met Natsu head-on, "It looks like we're not going to just watch them run away."
Jubia looked back, realizing Erza had already moved behind them and changed into Sea King's Armor.
The situation seemed quite unfavorable for Team B.
But just then, five golden lightning bolts struck down.
Erza, Gray, and Kana stepped back in time, avoiding the hit.
"Ah?!" Lucy got startled, instinctively turned sideways and lifted one leg, but the lightning wasn't aimed at her head, it just landed beside her foot.
The only one hit was Natsu, just about to perform 'Fire Dragon's Wing Strike'.
However, this move wasn't very powerful, it only made Natsu's hair stand up.
"Laxus?"
Without even asking, you could guess who had arrived, though a small thunderbolt like this didn't quite match his style.
Natsu quickly found Laxus' location, pointing angrily at the rooftop and questioning, "What does this scratchy move mean? Laxus! I didn't even feel pain at all! Besides, you couldn't even hit Lucy!"
Lucy quietly retorted: "Isn't no pain good? What's with 'couldn't even hit Lucy'?"
Laxus jumped down, standing in front of his teammates: "Just a greeting, our B Team's captain means there's no need to continue fighting."
"Captain? Rhode?" Erza thought for a moment and realized something, "Could it be..."
The First Generation had mysteriously cut off communication long ago, so Erza wasn't sure how many points B Team had scored.
If Rhode said no need to fight anymore, it indicated the outcome was confirmed—the remaining points weren't enough.
"Hi!" Rhode thought for a minute about how to make a stylish entrance, but ultimately decided it wasn't necessary, so he simply walked out plainly.
Natsu looked at him, loudly questioning, "What do you mean by not fighting? Are you conceding?"
"Concede to what? We've already won." Rhode looked at Natsu's puzzled expression, smiling, "In this match, our B Team scored a total of 20 points, plus previous points, making it 94.
"Your A Team scored 11 points, plus prior points, totaling 73.
"Now the only people remaining on the field are our two teams and Sabertooth's Stinger. Even if you count all the points from everyone including your own, it's only 19 points, so... the match is over."
