Yego shivered uncontrollably.
Especially when he saw the opponent reveal his Duel Disc, he couldn't help but look crestfallen: "Is this... the legendary Dark Duel?"
"Oh, as expected of the Deputy Director, you're quite knowledgeable."
Yugen chuckled lightly.
"Exactly."
Yego's expression turned even uglier: "So, are you going to silence me?"
"Indeed, since you've learned things you shouldn't know, there's no choice," Yugen said helplessly.
Yego was on the verge of tears: "I promise not to say anything, I will pretend I didn't see anything today! You are still the great Officer Godwin, I would never leak it..."
"Ahaha, that's touching. But I still prefer physical silence," Yugen smiled, "After all, why take the risk?"
Yego gritted his teeth, struggled for a moment, and then finally revealed his Duel Disc.
"Alright, it seems I have no choice. Since that's the case..."
He took a deep breath, fastened the Duel Disc, and took a step forward.
"Then let's go! I will fight too, I have things I must protect!"
Yes, he also has a wife and children, a family. Everything he does is so they can live better; flattering people or doing dirty, hard jobs, it doesn't matter what he does or how he becomes, as long as he can protect his family...
Yego's resolve was firm.
"I am the pillar of my home, my wife and son are waiting for me to return... I must not fall here!"
Yugen laughed: "Oh? That's a truly moving resolve."
"Duel!" x2
[Yugen, LP4000]
[Yego, LP4000]
"I go first, draw a card!"
Yego's turn to go first.
"I Normal Summon 'Joker King'!"
In the world of Yu-Gi-Oh!, the Card Decks and Duelists are often closely connected. Yego looks like a clown, and his Deck is also a clown deck.
Joker King is a classic circus clown image, with a pale face and a comical big nose, a head of messy green hair, and skillfully juggling circus balls.
[Joker King, Attack Power 0]
Yego: "Then I cover four cards, turn end!"
"Starting off with four cover cards in the backfield, impressive, impressive, with potential," Yugen smiled.
5DS truly is the Trap Dimension, even Clown Yego has such cleverness in the Red Pit.
Yego let out his signature silly laugh, "It's not just that.
Joker King, when there are no other monsters besides this card in the Field, increases its Attack Power by 1000 for each card in both players' Magic and Trap Card Zones.
Now, with four cover cards in my backfield, Joker King's Attack Power..."
[Joker King, Attack Power 0 → Attack Power 4000]
"The Attack Power is actually four thousand, impressive, impressive. Then I also need to be careful," Yugen said, "My turn, draw a card."
"Normal Summon 'Scrap Iron Beast'."
[Scrap Iron Beast, Attack Power 1600]
Yugen: "Joker King's effect only works when there are no other monsters in the Field. Now that there's another monster summoned, Joker King's effect is nullified, and its Attack Power returns to original."
[Joker King, Attack Power 4000 → Attack Power 0]
"Hehe, of course that's also within my calculations!"
Yego raised his hand.
"Activate cover card, Continuous Trap 'Palace Account Books'!
When a monster on your Field has its Attack Power decreased, until the end phase, add that decreased value to the Attack Power of one of your monsters! (Original Card)
Add the 4000 points of Attack Power that Joker King just lost back to itself!"
[Joker King, Attack Power 0 → Attack Power 4000]
"Oh? A combo specially prepared for Joker King's effect, not bad," Yugen said, "Now you've maintained the 4000 Attack Power, can't hit through that easily..."
Yego said firmly: "I've said, I can't be easily defeated! There are people I need to protect, people waiting for me to return!"
"Tsk tsk, a touching husband and father, isn't it?"
Yugen chuckled.
"A man becomes stronger to protect... that's commendable spirit. Well, unfortunately, you know too much, I still have to silence you.
Activate Magic Card 'Stupid Burial', send a monster from the Card Deck to the Graveyard.
I send 'Scrap Iron Chimera' from the Card Deck to the Graveyard."
Yugen drew the automatically ejected Chimera, and the Card Deck automatically shuffled.
"Then from the hand, Special Summon 'Scrap Iron Double-Headed Dog'!"
[Scrap Iron Double-Headed Dog, Attack Power 1700]
"Scrap Iron Double-Headed Dog can be Special Summoned directly from the hand when there's a 'Scrap' monster on your Field.
But as the cost, after Special Summoning, you must destroy one 'Scrap' monster on your Field.
I destroy 'Scrap Iron Beast'."
There was a loud bang, Scrap Iron Beast exploded into countless broken fragments.
"Scrap Iron Beast's effect, when Scrap Iron Beast is destroyed, one 'Scrap' monster other than Scrap Iron Beast can be returned from the Graveyard to the hand," Yugen said, "I return the 'Scrap Iron Chimera' I just sent to the Graveyard to my hand."
Yego's expression was heavy.
First sent to the Graveyard, and then retrieved through the Grave to obtain Scrap Iron Chimera.
Now there is Scrap Iron Double-Headed Dog in the Field, which is an Adjusted Monster.
So the next goal likely is Synchro Summon!
Yugen: "Next, from the hand, activate Speed Attack Magic 'Speed Summon,' which allows Normal Summoning of a monster from the hand.
I summon 'Scrap Iron Chimera'!"
[Scrap Iron Chimera, Attack Power 1700]
"Scrap Iron Chimera's effect, when this card is successfully summoned, Special Summon a Scrap Adjusted Monster from the Graveyard.
I Special Summon 'Scrap Iron Beast' from the Graveyard!"
Scrap Iron Beast, which was just destroyed, also returned to the Field through the Grave vortex.
[Scrap Iron Beast, Attack Power 1600]
Now there are two Adjusted and one Non-Adjusted on the Field.
"I won't allow you to Synchro Summon!"
Yego shouted.
"Activate cover card, Continuous Trap 'Dissonant Sound'!
For three turns, both players cannot Synchro Summon. On the third End Phase after activation, send this card to the Graveyard."
The trap flipped, releasing transparent sound waves that enveloped the entire Field, forming an invisible prohibition.
"Hmm, you've seen through my actions and imposed restrictions on my Synchro Summon, not bad,"
Yugen revealed another card from his hand.
"Then, activate Continuous Magic 'Virus Mail.'
Once per turn, choose a 4-star or lower face-up monster on your Field, that chosen monster can directly attack that turn."
Yego: "I see, unable to break through Joker King's 4000 Attack Power, you're trying to decide the victory through a direct attack..."
His expression turned cold.
"But! It's useless!
Activate cover card, Continuous Trap 'Coordination Barrier'! Both players who own Adjusted Monsters in their Field or Grave cannot declare an attack in the next three turns!" (Original Card)
