"The ultimate secret technique... but isn't Professor Chronos's trump card the Ancient Mechanical Giant?" Marufuji Shou expressed doubt.
"No," Mitsuzawa said solemnly, "There's another trump card among the Ancient Mechanisms, one that's rumored to be an evolution of the Ancient Mechanical Giant, the final ultimate trump card.
But even among the few users of the inherently rare Ancient Mechanism card deck, duelists who can harness this power are few and far between."
"That powerful!?" Marufuji Shou exclaimed, looking at Chronos in surprise, "Does the professor actually have such a powerful card?"
"It's just my speculation," Mitsuzawa replied, "But at least since we entered the school, no one has seen the professor use it. The existence surpassing the Ancient Mechanical Giant might just be a legend... perhaps."
Indeed, in the earlier chapters of the animation, Chronos's trump card was merely the Ancient Mechanical Giant. It was not until much later that he revealed this supposedly strongest trump card that surpassed the Ancient Mechanisms, using it during a duel against Yuki Judai in the final semester. Upon summoning, he even remarked, "I didn't expect to use this card against the Student Union."
Many fans later used this as evidence that Chronos went easy on Judai during the entrance exam duel.

He revealed the monster card in his hand, and the third Ancient Mechanical Giant was also projected onto the field, joining the other two giants in the fusion vortex.

Chronos cast a meaningful glance at Judai and gently closed his eyes.

He murmured to himself, then raised his head again.
"Battle Nonne!"
Chronos glanced at Yugen's field, his thoughts quickly turning.
The greatest threat on the field right now is undoubtedly the Alien Insect Victory, but Victory is currently bound by Napoleon's Gulliver Chain, so should be of no immediate concern.
Next, the one that needs to be dealt with first is that Sub-Akang Alien Insect which bounces monsters when flipped over. Although the Sub-Akang is in face-up position now, if the opponent plays from the Underworld flip-over side, there are surely many things similar to the "W Nebula Meteorite" that can repeatedly flip monsters.
"Ancient Mechanical Ultimate Giant, attack 'Sub-Akang Alien Insect'!"

Just then, the final Toy Soldier on Napoleon's field had array runes appearing beneath its feet, and golden light burst from the array, soaring into the sky.

"No problem!" Chronos, having said they would work together to achieve victory, naturally agreed without complaint, "No matter what, we must win, Instructor Napoleon!"

Napoleon raised the card in his hand and shouted.
"Activate the Magic Card 'Forced Transfer'!"
