"Eevee!"
Seeing this, Leafeon quickly pointed out Skiddo's location to Naoki.
It had just seen Skiddo enjoying the breeze over by the mill!
"The mill area? Alright, got it." Naoki reached out and patted Leafeon's head, then bid farewell to the Eevees: "I'm heading off now. Remember to come home tonight—I have delicious treats for you."
At the mention of delicious treats, the Eevees' eyes lit up instantly, and they responded in unison: "Eevee!"
Following Leafeon's directions, Naoki headed to the mill, and indeed, he spotted Skiddo there.
At that moment, Skiddo stood alone by the riverside, gazing down at the clear water—which reflected its own image.
"Skiddo!" Naoki called out.
The Skiddo promptly turned its head.
Naoki advanced with the Gogoats and introduced them: "These are the Gogoats I've told you about. Today, I've brought them to see you and brought some treats as well."
With that, Naoki placed a basket of Grassy Seeds on the grass.
Skiddo twitched its nose, clearly drawn by the aroma of the Grassy Seeds.
Witnessing this, the three Gogoats happily exclaimed:
"Baa!" (Eat, eat!)
"Baa!" (These Grassy Seeds are made by Naoki—the most delicious thing in the world!)
"Baa!" (Indeed!)
Faced with such enthusiastic Gogoats, Skiddo seemed a bit reserved.
Naoki thought maybe his presence as a human was reminding Skiddo of past injustices by humans.
So he turned away to inspect the vast farmland planted by the Pokemon themselves.
The Gogoats also mistook Skiddo's hesitance as fear of Naoki.
They reassured: "Baa!" (Don't be afraid, Naoki is a good person!)
"Baa!" (Indeed, even though he didn't hatch us, he always looks after us!)
Skiddo listened, looking puzzled.
Curiously, it asked: "Baa?" (Is Naoki your master?)
Master? One Gogoat shook its head: "Baa!" (No, Naoki is our Trainer!)
Seeing the opportunity, the earnest Gogoats started sharing their story with Skiddo.
A long time ago, they were weak Skiddo living by a great lake.
One day, a human arrived, engaged them in fierce battle, and captured them with Poke Balls.
That human was Naoki.
Since that day, they had been living on this pasture.
To make them feel at home, Naoki built them a shelter from wind and rain and daily crafted delicious Grassy Seeds from fresh, rich grass.
Gradually, under Naoki's care, they grew and evolved into formidable Gogoats.
Furthermore, they managed a Trial.
Many humans came to challenge them, but they defeated them all. So far, only two humans have passed the Trial.
Listening to the tale of the Gogoats, Skiddo couldn't help but show longing.
It could sense from the Gogoats' tone, they truly liked Naoki.
That human is so wonderful!
Reflecting on its own experiences, Skiddo further asked: "Baa?" (Did Naoki ever use a whip on you?)
The question puzzled the three Gogoats.
"Baa?" (A whip? No way! Why would Naoki use a whip on us?)
Skiddo thought carefully: "Baa?" (Because you didn't finish your work?)
The Gogoats shook their heads repeatedly.
What a joke! At the pasture, all they do is eat, sleep, sunbathe, and use Grass Energy to tend to the crops—there was nothing else to do.
Seeing Naoki doesn't whip Pokemon, Skiddo felt quite envious.
One Gogoat stood firmly before Skiddo and said: "Baa!" (Therefore, come train!)
Skiddo looked puzzled.
Gogoat continued: "Baa!" (So you can become strong like us and protect yourself and other Pokemon!)
The moment it spoke, a terrifying wave of green energy surged from Gogoat's body.
The energy surged like giant waves raging in the ocean, sweeping across the surroundings.
In almost the blink of an eye, the entire world seemed to transform into a green ocean.
The grasses, formed from pure energy, swayed gently with the breeze, appearing dreamy and surreal.
Upon seeing this scene, Skiddo froze in place.
"Baa... "
Staring at the Gogoat before it, radiating a rich grass energy, Skiddo was completely bewildered.
So impressive!
However, in the next second, Skiddo witnessed something even more astonishing.
The three Gogoats suddenly bowed slightly.
A rich grass energy began to quickly gather from their mouths, eventually transforming into a massive Grass Sacred Sword.
The Gogoats held these swords with their mouths, then their bodies swiftly dashed forward.
With a loud boom, a large rock in the distance was split in half and then shattered apart.
Skiddo: (*゚ロ゚)!!
Truly amazing!
Skiddo's eyes were full of admiration for these three senior Gogoats.
If it could become as powerful, would it be able to protect itself and its companions from human persecution? Skiddo couldn't help but wonder.
Scenes from the past emerged in its mind.
In the desolate mountains, a human who called themselves a Pokemon Hunter wielded a long whip, cursing them and harshly striking them as they worked.
"Damn it! Hurry up! You useless wastes, since you can't fetch a good price, you better work hard for me!"
"Whack!"
"Whack!"
The whip fell relentlessly.
Some companions collapsed on the ground from exhaustion.
Some Pokemon tried to resist, but were pinned down by that Houndoom.
The other Pokemon trembled in fear.
The man mocked the resisting Pokemon, "Humph, overestimating your abilities."
They had no choice but to keep working.
Yet Skiddo had already been beaten many times, its body covered in wounds, and it could barely endure such intense labor.
The man noticed it had stopped, cursing as he walked over: "Damn it, slacking off again!"
Skiddo was paralyzed with fear, unable to move in the face of the high-held whip, and could only shiver in place.
It was at that moment.
Mewtwo appeared.
In the stance of a protector, it stood before Skiddo, unleashing a terrifying telekinesis that sent the human and Houndoom flying away.
If Mewtwo hadn't saved it in time then, it might have lost its life from exhaustion.
It didn't want to be like that anymore.
If it had powerful strength at that time, it wondered, could it have protected the other hurt Pokemon?
Skiddo's gaze gradually became resolute.
It looked up at the three strong Gogoats before it and pleaded, "Baa!" (Senior Gogoats, please teach me!)
The Gogoats also looked down at the little Skiddo.
One of the Gogoats used Vine Whip to bring over a bunch of Grassy Seed made by Naoki, placing them in front of Skiddo.
"Baa!" (Eat them! Then we will start guiding you to learn our special move, Grass Sacred Sword!)
"Baa?!" (Grass Sacred Sword?)
Hearing this unfamiliar move name, Skiddo was startled.
The Gogoat nodded, "Baa!" (That's right! Naoki helped us name it!)
Skiddo instantly understood.
It turned its gaze to the basket of Grassy Seed in front of it and began to feast.
It too wanted to become as strong as the senior Gogoats!
If so, it could protect itself and other hurt Pokemon!
