Seeing that a new Pokemon had joined the group chat, Giratina immediately came out and asked:
[Is this Pokemon also a god?]
The Phone Rotom in Mewtwo's hand automatically read the message out loud for it.
"A god? No, I'm not a god." Mewtwo thought it was this machine speaking to it, so it shook its head and said, "I'm... a Pokemon."
Watching this scene, Naoki couldn't help but facepalm.
Ever since he'd accidentally let it slip to Giratina last time and blurted out the name of the [Legendary Beast Group Chat], Giratina had started taking itself for a god.
And based on the abilities Calyrex had displayed, that clever fellow had concluded that Pokemon seemed to be a "god" as well.
That made Giratina realize this group chat was only open to Legendary Pokemon like itself.
And now, another Pokemon named [Mewtwo] had joined.
Mewtwo's words were automatically sent through the Rotom Phone.
[Mewtwo: A god? No, I'm not a god, I'm... a Pokemon.]
[Giratina: Then how did you get in?]
Mewtwo: "..."
Naoki stepped in to explain, "I invited him. Giratina, you go do your thing first, I need to show Mewtwo around the World Tree."
Giratina was only curious about Mewtwo; hearing Naoki say that, it didn't press further.
Only then did Naoki get the chance to explain the Rotom Phone to Mewtwo.
"This is a kind of smart machine developed by humans. There's a Pokemon called Rotom living inside it, so humans call it a Rotom Phone."
"With this, even if you're in the Kanto Region and I'm in the Paldea Region, we can still talk to each other. And besides that, it has lots of other functions."
"Later the Rotom inside the phone will give you a detailed introduction."
Mewtwo nodded thoughtfully.
It lowered its head to look at the Rotom Phone in its hand, and then saw a smiling face icon appear on the screen.
Next, the voice of the Pokemon named Rotom sounded from within:
"Hello, Mewtwo, I'm Rotom, it's great to meet you. Please take care of me from now on, roto!"
Mewtwo had dealt with human machines before; it had even built some with its own hands.
So it quickly accepted the existence of the Rotom Phone.
Today's lunch for the Pokemon on the World Tree was still Berries.
The variety was a bit limited, but the Pokemon still ate happily.
Naoki felt a little sorry seeing that, so after lunch he called all the Pokemon on this floor over and led them to the pile of stuff he'd brought up.
A bunch of Pokemon lined up in several rows in front of Naoki, the tall ones standing in back, the small ones in front.
All of them were staring curiously at the pile of items behind Naoki.
"These are things I brought you from the human world," Naoki said with a smile, introducing them.
"There are seeds for crops you can plant, lots of different kinds of Berries meow, pots and pans and bowls for cooking and eating, little quilts and blankets for Sleep, machines for processing crops and power-generating machines, plus some ingredients and food."
"Mii!" (Sushi!)
At those words, the three Tatsugiri sprang up first.
Seeing how excited and eager they looked, the other Pokemon all turned to look at the three of them as well, smiles blooming across their faces.
Because right now, everyone was feeling exactly the same.
Nothing was more worth being happy about than building, with their own hands, the home they'd depend on to live from this day forward.
Naoki looked at the three Tatsugiri and couldn't help but be amused by them.
"Don't worry, I brought it all! But there's a lot to do, so let's take it one step at a time."
Naoki glanced at the power storage device at hand and asked, "Who's willing to help everyone generate electricity?"
"Meow?" Meowth asked in confusion. What did "generate electricity" mean?
"Generating electricity means providing energy for the Explorer Team Guild." Naoki pointed at the sushi shop and the park's streetlights, explaining, "With electricity, these lights can turn on and light up the road home for you at night."
Hearing that, Clefable's eyes lit up. "Pishii?"
So that meant they wouldn't need to be afraid of the dark anymore?
Naoki nodded with a smile. "That's right. But we need Electric Type Pokemon to help."
"Pika Pikachu!" Pikachu dropped to all fours and ran over excitedly, volunteering to help!
"Meee!" The bulbs on the tails of the two Mareep lit up as well; they could use Electric Type Moves too.
The other Pokemon couldn't generate electricity and could only stand aside, watching in embarrassed envy.
"Then I'll be counting on you for this!" Naoki said with a smile. "But you don't have to come every day to generate electricity. Once the machine is fully charged, it can power things for over a month."
"When the World Tree finishes growing and flies up into the sky later, we'll be able to use solar and wind power to generate electricity. But for now, I'll have to trouble you for a while!"
"Pikachu!"
"Meee!"
Pikachu and the Mareep nodded casually—no problem! Their bodies had endless electricity!
Especially Pikachu. As if to prove its point, it crouched on the ground and let out a powerful Growl.
Then, two streams of yellow current shot out from its cheeks.
The intense Spark instantly lit up everything around them.
"That's amazing!" Naoki praised without holding back.
This Pikachu really deserved to be a clone of Pikachu the god! It hadn't even gone through much training, yet the electricity it released was already quite impressive.
