Before Ian could finish speaking, a tentacle, agile and with a giant pincer-like tip, shot out like a venomous serpent emerging from its hole. It ignored the hastily conjured magic power shields Ian set up and accurately grasped him once again!
The power of the tentacle was terrifyingly immense, immediately squeezing, causing Ian to feel as if every bone in his body was groaning under the pressure, his magic power was tightly sealed, and even breathing became difficult. He was lifted high, like a lamb waiting for slaughter, suspended right in front of the Evil God's sixteen perfect faces.
"Struggle!" the Evil God sneered, as the tentacle holding Ian slowly began to move, pushing him toward one of the gaping, sharp-toothed mouths. "Let fear permeate your soul! Let despair devour your mind! In the eternal agony of becoming a 'perfect' part of me, savor the folly of your choices today!"
Ian was tightly squeezed like a sparrow entangled by a giant serpent. He struggled desperately, with magic shock and physical writhing, but the Evil God's power was like a mountain, immovable. The sharp-toothed giant mouth drew ever closer, its stinking breath engulfing him, and he could even see clearly the pulsating, organ-like dark purple fleshy wall deep inside the mouth.
The shadow of death had never been so clear.
Just as the giant mouth was about to close, the sharp teeth ready to bite down—
Grasped tightly and seemingly at the end of his rope, Ian's body suddenly went rigid. Then, on his face twisted by pain and suffocation, his mouth corner lifted ever so slowly and unexpectedly upward.
"Heh heh..."
A low, raspy laugh, yet filled with indescribable mockery and calculation, squeezed out of his compressed throat.
The Evil God's action paused for an extremely brief moment, less than half a second, because of this untimely laugh. A flicker of doubt passed through the purplish-red giant eye.
"Laughing on the brink of death?"
A trace of unease flashed in his mind.
So he attempted to suppress his intuition with a roar.
Still inexperienced, for his lifetime was too short.
In this brief halt!
"I am the bridge between reality and illusion."
All remaining magic power within Ian, along with the "Prince" bloodline power ignited by the Sun God Ra, which had erupted completely due to the desperate situation, exploded forth like a breached galactic river! The giant pincer trapping him was utterly unable to block this transformation that went beyond the physical form, originating from the essence of life!
Poof!
A soft sound. The "Ian" firmly squeezed by the Evil God's giant pincer instantly transformed into a swirl of black feathers flying everywhere! And the real Ian, under the cover of the swirling feathers, in the form of a raven, shot out like the fastest black lightning from the gaps of the giant pincer!
He entered the void.
Then reappeared in reality.
In the blink of an eye, he had broken free of his constraints.
He used the Evil God's pulling force, shooting towards the Eye of the Ra, which was very close by like an arrow leaving the bowstring!
"What?!"
The Evil God was taken aback, wanted to stop him, but it was already too late.
"Damn it!"
The Evil God's giant mouth snapped shut at the unexpected twist, only crushing a useless bunch of feathers with a "click". His purplish-red giant eye was instantly filled with fury and amazement!
Ian.
The black raven—did not pause for a single moment! His target, from the beginning, was never escape! His trajectory was direct, determined, carrying the intent to perish together, launching a final, most fatal dive towards the "Eye of the Ra", which was close at hand from his current position!
It turns out, from the moment Ian was caught by the tentacle and pushed towards the giant mouth, he had given up futile struggles. He endured immense pain and suffocation, waiting for this moment! He gambled on the Evil God's arrogance as a "victor", gambled that the Evil God would personally send this "prey" near the core of his power! He risked his life, using himself as bait, completing the most crucial step with the Evil God's own help.
Using the Evil God's own power, he closed the distance to the Eye of the Ra!
"No—!"
The Evil God wasn't completely unable to think; he finally understood Ian's trick, roared with earth-shattering fury, all tentacles frantically retracting to defend!
But, it was too late!
The Evil God frantically tried to prevent it, but everything was too late. The distance between Ian and the Eye of the Ra was already very close, plus the Evil God's own pulling force.
This strike was unbelievably fast.
The black raven, like a moth to a flame, or a blade stabbing into a heart, with transcendental speed, exerted all his strength, his iron-hard beak smashing fiercely, with perfect precision, against the pulsating, pus-covered core of the "Eye of the Ra"!
"You bastard!"
Set-Apep let out a terrifying roar.
Crash!
A crisp, yet glass-shattering sound, echoed throughout the entire Divine War Space, suddenly arose!
The Eye of the Ra developed a crack, golden light bursting forth from the fissure.
"No! Impossible!"
The Evil God frantically attempted to repair the protective talisman, but the crack swiftly spread, soon covering the entire Eye of the Ra.
The moment the Eye of the Ra shattered, time seemed to freeze. The golden protective talisman embedded in the Evil God's neck erupted with an unbearably dazzling brilliance, like thousands of suns exploding simultaneously. The cracks rapidly spread like a living thing, soon covering the entire surface of the talisman.
Boom!
The Eye of the Ra exploded completely, turning into countless golden fragments. An indescribable, enormous force surged out from the explosion center, like an ancient volcano suddenly erupting.
