Chapter 1219 - Chapter 391: The Reborn Sun God (Part 2)

The energy vortex began to collapse, and the tentacles binding Osiris and Isis snapped one after another. The Evil God let out a roar of pain and unwillingness as its body started to disintegrate at a terrifying speed—having lost the Eye of the Ra, that anchor which had stolen the Sun God's Origin, it could no longer maintain such a colossal form of energy.

"No—!!!" Set-Apep let out a deafening roar, its voice filled with inconceivable terror and fury. "This is impossible! My perfect plan..."

In that roar were curses toward Ian, toward the Lord of the Underworld and his wife, toward the entire world; but even more than that, it was despair at its own so-called "perfection" being utterly shattered.

An indescribable, majestic power spewed out from the center of the explosion—that was the Power of Origin of the Sun God, stolen and imprisoned for far too long. The golden torrent swept across heaven and earth in an instant like the first ray of light at the dawn of the cosmos. It was as if the sun's core, suppressed for eons, suddenly erupted from that shattered pupil!

The energy vortex crumbled to dust under the impact of this pure Divine Power.

All the matter and energy that had been devoured were released one after another.

The radiance was no longer gentle sunlight, but liquid, surging Divine Power Origin, bearing supreme majesty and the might of purification! It was like a golden tsunami. Then came the most breathtaking scene— the belly of the Evil God Set-Apep suddenly swelled violently, as though something inside were about to burst out from within.

Its skin turned transparent, and one could clearly see a curled-up figure within, awakening.

"Damn you... Ra!"

The Evil God howled in agony, trying to press down its ever-swelling abdomen with both hands, but it was all in vain.

At the very instant when, due to the shattering of the "Eye of the Ra," the Evil God's core collapsed and twisted in pain, the abdomen of that vast body was as if seized from within by an invisible giant hand and savagely torn open! A gigantic rift ignited with pure golden flames at its edges appeared out of thin air! Immediately after, a small, barefoot figure—

also from the depths of that churning rift of pus and golden flame—slowly yet resolutely tore its way out through the belly! It was precisely that little boy curled up at the center of the cellar, the one with golden eyes!

He was indeed the true Sun God Ra.

In this moment, he was utterly transformed. Suspended in midair, his small body was bathed in the torrent of Divine Power Origin, like a golden river of stars, erupting from the Eye of the Ra. Those two pitch-black eyes that once devoured all light had now completely become two blazing golden suns, eternally burning, dazzling beyond compare, their radiance illuminating the entire cosmos.

"You... you actually... how dare you!" Set-Apep stared in disbelief at the Sun God emerging from its own body as its mangled form began to collapse at an extreme pace.

Ra hovered in the air, his entire being shrouded in golden light. The Divine Power Origin released from the Eye of the Ra converged upon him like bees returning to their hive, merging into his body. With every portion of Divine Power that fused into him, his form grew more solid, and the pressure he exuded grew stronger.

"I am back."

The tattered white robe on the Sun God's body was washed away by the surging Divine Power, replaced by a layer of Divine Light Armor formed entirely of pure Light Energy, like a Pharaoh's Crown and a Scarab Heart Guard combined. Innumerable streams of golden Divine Power Origin spouting from the Eye of the Ra converged on his small frame like a hundred rivers returning to the sea, like weary birds returning to the forest, madly yet in perfect order merging into him!

His form stabilized and ascended within the radiance. The brilliance of divinity spread out from him in rings, and wherever it passed, even the dark red clouds in the sky, polluted by the Evil God and congealed like clots of blood, were swiftly purified and dispersed! The long-lost, pure, warm sky-blue—

like a canvas washed anew—slowly spread across the firmament, bit by bit.

That unsettling gold gradually faded, replaced by the warm and pure true hue of sunlight.

The "sun" of the cosmos was having its color forcibly corrected, restored to the life-bearing origin it ought to possess. The false sun in the sky completely dissipated; though the true sun had yet to fully rise, its light was already beginning to cleanse this world. Ra's voice was calm, yet brimmed with majesty.

In those golden eyes burned the fire of primordial wisdom.

"Your thieving journey ends here."

It was as though some verdict had been pronounced.

Something the Evil God could not accept.

"I am the strongest! The most perfect!"

Under the double blow of the Eye of the Ra shattering and the Sun God tearing his way out from within, the massive body of the Evil God toppled backward like a giant beast whose spine had been ripped out. Its remaining flesh constantly disintegrated and shriveled under the scour of golden Divine Power, the purplish-red glow dimming to the extreme.

Yet that "evil" essence did not vanish. On the contrary, in the face of utter failure and annihilation, it was forced out into its most primal, most twisted, most aberrant form!

Set-Apep had now completely lost the outer semblance of a god, turning into a monster composed of pure darkness and chaos. Its lingering consciousness, like the amalgam of billions of resentful souls, let out a final shriek filled with boundless malice, gathering every last remnant of the foulest Dark Power.

The Evil God transformed into a distorted torrent of purple-black energy formed from innumerable wailing faces, and regardless of all else, hurled itself in mad fury toward the Sun God, who was floating in the air and absorbing the Divine Power Origin!

"Even if I lose my Divine Power, I'll drag you into destruction with me!" the Evil God roared insanely.

That torrent contained the Evil God's final Curse and will to annihilate, its might terrifying to behold.
