The evil god's second stage is certainly unsettling.
Those chaotic tentacles, eyeballs, and mouthparts seemed to be combed and organized by an invisible force. Though their shape remained grotesque and terrifying, they formed a non-human, geometric "harmony." It was no longer merely a chaotic collection, but had become a conscious, self-perfecting, ultimate "existence."
Behold, this ancient evil god hovered at the center of a distorted world, like a living, profane cosmic singularity, emanating an oppressive force that could freeze one's soul.
"Indeed, bosses in their second stage are even harder to fight." Ian looked at the "perfected" ultimate evil god in front of him, feeling the pressure that seemed almost capable of crushing his very soul.
He knew.
The opponent was no longer a being that a wizard could defeat, perhaps not even the Egyptian gods could conquer it. If not, why hadn't the Egyptian gods appeared yet?
Of course, understanding this, seeing through this, was one thing, but whether or not to submit was another. Ian's hand still tightly gripped that Elder Wand.
"Do you have any other tricks up your sleeve?"
The evil god, confident of victory, calmly spoke to Ian. It was not just playing with its prey, but it also wanted to extract more magic knowledge from Ian.
That is power.
"My tricks will last till the end of the world."
Ian Prince stood atop the ruins, his Magic Robe fluttering in the twisted energy emitted by the evil god. Facing Set-Apep who had entered a terrifying second form, this legendary wizard knew he must use all his strength. He raised the Magic Wand high, and the ancient Rune Language sparkled in the air.
Destructive spells erupted simultaneously.
Suddenly, Ian Prince's Magic Wand pointed to the ground, instantly opening countless cracks from which scorching lava erupted like an angry beast.
This was not ordinary Volcanic Magic but an advanced version, improved from deep elemental forces within the earth—lava flickered with Arcane Runes, each droplet with automatic tracking magical properties. Dozens of lava pillars arose, attacking the evil god from all directions, dyeing the sky bloody red.
Yet, Set-Apep just let out a piercing laugh.
"Haha, it seems you have no more tricks." His body, which had turned into liquid golden form, suddenly hardened, forming prismatic Shields. The lava impacted the Shields, but not only did it not cause any damage, it was refracted, absorbed, and converted into the evil god's own energy.
"Too warm, Ian Prince, not hot enough."
The tone of thousands of overlapping voices echoed once more. Ian Prince was undeterred, with a second spell already prepared.
The Magic Wand carved out complex Frost Runes, and the moisture in the air instantly condensed. This was not an ordinary Freezing Spell, but a unique spell he created by combining the Absolute Zero theory with Magic Imprisonment—the temperature plummeted to the point where even time seemed frozen. The air around the evil god transformed into a transparent crystalline cage.
Countless ice crystals rotated and sliced like blades.
This was Ian's scientific research resulting in a clash of ice and fire.
It was supposed to be highly effective.
However, the evil god insisted on proving magic world matters are not governed by science. The evil god's movements indeed slowed for a moment, covered with a thick layer of frost on the surface. But in the next instant, those constantly writhing human faces on his body simultaneously opened their mouths, uttering silent screams. The crystalline cage shattered in response, the extreme cold energy greedily devoured by those mouths.
"A refreshing feeling, but not enough to cool my fervor." The evil god's voice had a mocking delight, Ian's forehead was sweating, but he did not stop casting.
He cast again.
The tip of the Magic Wand burst out with a dark glow. This was not ordinary Space Magic but a dangerous spell Ian created after researching the essence of the void. The space surrounding the evil god suddenly collapsed into numerous micro black holes. These black holes interwove, forming a destructive network where even light was torn apart.
Set-Apep's compound eyes showed interest for the first time.
"Ah, this is a bit interesting."
His tentacles suddenly split into countless fine threads, each precisely inserted into a micro black hole. Horrifyingly, those black holes began to taint with golden hues.
They became sources of power for the evil god.
"Even space itself is submitting to me, don't you understand, Prince?" A thousand voices proudly declared, this time referring directly to Ian's last name rather than his full name.
Ian said nothing.
Just continually unleashed magic.
His next killer move followed. Suddenly, Ian forcefully plunged the Magic Wand into the ground, releasing a domain of twisted gravity centered on himself. Then, the Force Field increased at a rate of a hundredfold per second, the pyramid ruins around began to crumble into powder, and the ground sank into a giant bowl shape.
This was still not a simple Gravity Curse but a compound magic he created by combining celestial motion laws. Under hundredfold gravity, the evil god's body was indeed pressed into deformation, those writhing faces twisted into grotesque shapes. But only three seconds later, the evil god Set-Apep began to adapt again.
His representation of divine authority was akin to a persistent psoriasis. His bones emitted bizarre crackling sounds, readjusting structure to support the body. Under Ian's increasingly solemn gaze, the evil god slowly stood erect in the gravity field enough to crush steel, even gracefully stretching the limbs that became like supports.
