Vid looked at Anthony, paused for a moment, and said, "Professor Moody is a very outstanding Auror, few people can match his combat abilities."
"I know, not just Professor Moody, but Professor Trokka, Professor Abigail, which one of them isn't an exceptional wizard?"
Anthony earnestly said, "But being an exceptional wizard doesn't mean they can teach exceptional students. Kevin is still not proficient with the Impedimenta Curse, if it weren't for his good memory, he might not have passed the Defense Against the Dark Arts Class last semester!"
"But you're different, Vid... We all know what level Neville Longbottom was at the beginning, besides the Herbs class, there wasn't a single subject he was good at."
"Not to mention comparing with Kevin, even Hufflepuff's Hopkins was more agile than he was. Even now, Neville's memory is exceptionally bad!"
"But even though he's clumsy, after joining your SSC, his grades have gradually improved to an average student's level, with occasional shining performances."
"Neville always says, he's able to do these things not because he's gotten smarter, but because of your help—"
"Vid, you're the best teacher I've ever seen, you know how to adjust teaching methods according to each person's traits, allowing them to quickly learn spells."
After a pause, Anthony continued, "Of course, I know that this request might be somewhat abrupt, but the league is dangerous, and students who want to participate should at least have the ability to protect themselves... Can I ask you to take some time to guide us? I swear I won't take up much of your time!"
Vid looked into his sincere eyes and suddenly said, "Anthony, you're more suitable than Percy Weasley to be the student council president."
"Ah?" Anthony blinked.
"I'll check the schedule tomorrow morning to see when I'm free, and I can give a talk about spell techniques."
Vid said, "You ask the professors if you can apply for an empty classroom."
"No problem!" Anthony's eyes lit up, and he said cheerfully, "Once the place is arranged, we'll handle the preparation before class and the tidying up after. If there are other tasks, feel free to tell us!"
"But I do have my conditions." Vid said, "I only teach those who genuinely want to learn. If there are those who just want to join in for fun, are perfunctory, or trying to cause trouble, I'll throw them out directly. Tell them clearly in advance. If they can't accept that, then don't come!"
Anthony grinned, "Deal! I'll make sure to keep the troublemakers out!"
The two of them bumped fists, thus reaching an agreement.
...
"Did you really agree to him?"
At the breakfast table, when Vid told Michael and the others about the agreement with Anthony last night, Michael said in surprise:
"I thought Anthony was fantasizing! Such a troublesome thing, before you wouldn't have taken it on yourself."
Vid shrugged, "Just consider it for the school's honor! We can't let people from other schools think Hogwarts is just for show."
He had received countless care and protection at the school, maintaining the school's reputation was only rightful.
But Michael still looked incredulous, even tilting his head to seriously look at Vid, asking, "You're Vid I know, right? Not a `Vid version` humanoid Poppet he made, right?"
Theo looked speechlessly and pushed Michael's head away, leaned over, and asked, "Vid, is your spell tutoring only recruiting Ravenclaw, or..."
Vid looked at him and nodded, "If Hufflepuff students want to participate, of course, they can."
"Great, thank you." Theo said joyfully and relieved, "Actually, people often ask me for guidance, but I know what's really going on; saying it seems off..."
Leian chimed in, "If Theo becomes a professor in the future, he'd definitely be the second Professor Bin. You can't imagine how boring his spell lectures are."
"Isn't that exaggerated?" Michael looked at Theo, then at Leian, "Aren't we all normal when chatting? How boring can it be?"
Leian thought for a moment, "Have you ever heard a monk chanting?"
Michael: "..."
Theo blushed, chuckled awkwardly, and explained, "I just think it's important to explain the key knowledge clearly. But for some reason, they start dozing off as they listen..."
After eating, Theo and Leian returned to Hufflepuff; they have a Herbs class in the morning with Gryffindor.
Michael squinted his eyes, watching those students laughing and talking as they walked towards the greenhouse.
"Let's go, the first class is Transfiguration Class." Vid picked up his backpack and stood up.
"Hmm..." Michael responded and stood up, reaching out, "Vid, let me see your schedule."
Vid handed it over.
His schedule had many revisions because there were some classes Vid didn't plan on attending with students of the same year, requiring adjustments in time and place.
Michael scratched a couple of marks, understood, "You're planning to set the tutoring time on Tuesday afternoons and Friday nights?"
"Yes." Vid said, "I have other arrangements during other times."
Michael thought for a moment, said, "Listen to me, change this plan... Change it to another day, it's fine, the key is to set it for the early morning from five to seven."
"Hmm? That early?" Vid said in surprise.
Even though he's diligent, Vid has recently gotten used to staying up late; he usually wakes up at seven or eight in the morning, occasionally even sleeping in.
He also knows that many students can sleep till noon during holidays—for example, Michael.
So, "five o'clock" sounded especially surprising coming from him, making people wonder if he misspoke, like saying "afternoon" instead of "morning."
Michael saw no other students nearby and lowered his voice, "You have that thing, worst case, you can turn back the time after waking up, won't be late. The key is the matter of getting up early, which can easily weed out the ones joining for fun."
As they stepped into the Transfiguration Class, he saw a few Slytherins had arrived earlier, and he said quietly:
"Vid, you rarely went to the Maze, so you might not know—some seventh-year students are really dreadful, not mastering many basic spells, makes you want to re-train them all."
"So, mark my words, news will spread quickly. Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Slytherin... From first-year to seventh-year, maybe anyone could want to participate."
He chuckled twice, "Five o'clock wake-up? Some can only hold on for one or two times before quitting themselves!"
Vid: "..."
The guy beside him, clearly has no intention of participating, right? Which is why he's mercilessly setting traps.
