The arena of Daughter Island was filled with female warriors of the Nine Snakes Clan, their numbers rivaling even that of a National Conference.
In unison, the women shouted: "Master Victor!", filling the arena with his name.
These were all Victor's supporters. In the hearts of the Nine Snakes Clan, he was the hero of Amazon Lily—the man who had captured their admiration.
"Damn Hawkeye! I'm so pissed! It's all his fault for wanting to duel my husband!"
Pirate Queen Boa Hancock sat on her throne, her expression cold, her beautiful face filled with displeasure. Even her subjects couldn't call her husband's name so intimately… and she was furious.

"Hahahaha, Sister Hancock is jealous again~"
Princess Perona hovered nearby, holding her burgundy umbrella, smiling through her hand. The dark lolita wore a black stocking JK outfit she had retrieved from the Titanic X, which perfectly outlined her beautiful legs. She thought she looked stunning.

Victor held a sword, facing the world's greatest swordsman, Hawkeye Mihawk. This was an agreed duel—and Victor must win.
If he won, the world's number one swordsman would join his crew. Once Hawkeye officially boarded, Victor would gain swordsmanship at the level of a supreme master.
"What home-field advantage? Are you planning on calling for backup?!"
"Uh… forget I said anything. Let's fight! After this, you'll get to call me Captain! Hahahaha!"
Amid the cheers of the Nine Snakes Clan, Victor launched the first attack:

Hawkeye Mihawk did not dodge the terrifying Thunder Dragon. Instead, he faced it head-on with the Black Sword Night, one of the Twelve Supreme Swords.

An emergency meeting was underway under Navy Admiral Akainu. All officers above the rank of rear admiral attended, including Chief Inspector Sengoku and Navy Hero Garp, who rarely appeared in meetings.
Sengoku and Garp quietly ate senbei and donuts, occasionally feeding grass to the sheep at their feet. As for what the new navy marshal said, they seemed uninterested.
"The failure of this battle is another humiliation for the Navy! I suggest that once the World Recruitment is completed, we launch another Demon Slayer Order against Amazon Lily!"
Vice Admiral Flying Squirrel, his arm bandaged and his body covered in scars, had suffered the most among the five vice admirals who participated in the battle.
During the Battle of Marineford, he had been punished for his involvement with Boa Hancock, and he still resented it. The recent defeat made him even angrier.
"Tsk, in my opinion, you're all too weak. You can't even stand up to the Pirate Empress, yet you expect to hold back Marshal Akainu and Admiral Kizaru!"
A short-statured vice admiral, looking even more wretched than Kizaru, scolded Flying Squirrel and the others.
"Chatun, what did you say?!"
The five vice admirals who fought at Daughter Island were furious. This guy had lost to all five of them!
"I won't repeat myself. Any objections? Come discuss them with me privately."
Vice Admiral Chatun raised his head proudly. Besides being a vice admiral, he was also a candidate for admiral—far above ordinary vice admirals.
Another candidate, Vice Admiral Momosa, sat next to him. Her imposing figure and long, beautiful legs commanded attention.
"Enough arguing. The World Government has issued its latest order: the navy will temporarily suspend any actions against Amazon Lily. The government itself will oversee the bounty and elimination of pirate Victor and his crew."
Akainu announced the order with a grim expression, visibly unhappy.
There were two reasons for his displeasure. First, he wanted personal responsibility in taking down Victor. Second, he had been reprimanded by the Five Elders shortly after becoming admiral… yet justice must still be carried out.
"The navy's next mission will primarily be in the New World. Once the World Conscription is completed, we will significantly increase naval bases there.
Additionally, recent intelligence indicates that the war between Blackbeard and the Four Emperors Kaido against the Whitebeard Pirates has temporarily ended. Whitebeard's injuries have miraculously healed, and he defeated Kaido and Blackbeard. However, Blackbeard is now a formidable force in the New World, potentially poised to become the Fifth Emperor.
Our mission is to take advantage of this power reshuffle in the New World and further expand the navy's jurisdiction!"
Back on Daughter Island
Thunder roared and lightning slashed across the sky. Despite their best efforts, Victor and Hawkeye's battle had razed the arena. To avoid harming civilians, they moved the fight to the dilapidated Gulusseadi.
After the fight, the World Destroyer Bondi Wald was rescued by companions, but the giant pirate ship was abandoned at sea, its power system destroyed.
Seven days later…
When Gulusseadi was completely destroyed and sank, Victor and Hawkeye's duel finally ended.
"I win, Hawkeye! When do we get on the ship?!"
"...depends on my mood."
On Daughter Island's shore, Victor and Hawkeye exchanged strange words.
"Hahaha! Victor, Hawkeye thinks you only won by luck!"
Pluto Rayleigh sipped the half-empty bottle of Erguotou and laughed. The sky above was filled with thunderclouds, lightning, and thunder—perfect conditions for Victor, the thunder user. After seven days of fierce fighting, Hawkeye knew he would lose if he continued and finally admitted defeat.
"I won anyway!"
"When I board, prepare a hundred boxes of Red Star Erguotou and a large private cabin for me!"
"I want a hundred boxes too!"
"Hey! Uncle Rayleigh, no portion for you! Go back and let Luffy brew it for you!"
