At that moment, the senior students from the previous year were equally shocked to see Song Jie appear at the Qing Campus.
None of them could figure out why he would come here.
Song Jie walked slowly toward Mu Nujiao and Ai Tutu.
When he stood in front of them, Ai Tutu looked up and playfully said, "You're also here to ask for our contact information, right?"
Song Jie froze for a second, then remembered Ai Tutu's popularity—of course, she was used to being approached by admirers.
"Seeing as you're so handsome, I'll allow you to add my contact information," Ai Tutu teased, pulling out her phone.
Mu Nujiao watched quietly from the side, smiling faintly, curious to see how Song Jie would react.
Song Jie noticed that mischievous smile and shot her a look.
Mu Nujiao pretended not to notice, continuing to enjoy the show.
"You little troublemaker, pretending you don't know me, huh?" Song Jie grinned and pulled out his phone to add Ai Tutu's contact.
"There's an empty seat here. Can I sit?" he asked politely.
Ai Tutu shook her head. "That might not be possible. Sister Mu is saving this seat for her friend."
"Let him sit. My friend isn't coming anymore," Mu Nujiao said, clearly irritated after watching Song Jie add Ai Tutu's contact right in front of her.
"Then you can sit," Ai Tutu said, giving in.
This scene caught the attention of many male students nearby.
Their goddess, Mu Nujiao, had actually let a man sit beside her!
"Who's that pretty boy? How dare he sit next to my goddess!" one jealous student shouted.
His friend quickly stopped him. "Don't act impulsively, unless you want to get beaten."
"Beat me? My Lightning Element's already at the third level!" the student snapped.
"Then do you even know who he is?"
"I don't care who he is. I can take him down myself!"
"Then maybe let me tell you first before you go running your mouth," the friend said darkly.
The nearby students perked up, listening in.
"Who is he?"
"Yeah, stop being mysterious—just tell us!"
"I want to know how he's supposedly stronger than me!"
The boy smirked. "You've all heard of the guy from last year who took on two hundred and fifty people alone, right?"
Everyone's faces froze.
"You don't mean… that guy just now?" someone whispered.
Realization hit like lightning. If it was really that Song Jie, none of them dared to provoke him!
The arrogant student immediately shut up, pretending nothing had happened.
Someone groaned, "Are we even allowed to live? He's already in the Main Campus, yet he still comes back to flirt with our goddess!"
Around them, several of Mu Nujiao's admirers sighed in despair.
Meanwhile, Song Jie noticed that Mu Nujiao's mood had soured.
She was definitely angry because of what just happened.
Song Jie reached out to grab her hand gently—but she pulled away.
Obvious. She was mad.
And when a girl's mad, of course you have to coax her.
While Mu Nujiao wasn't paying attention, Song Jie quietly slid his hand behind her, hidden from the audience sitting behind them.
Mu Nujiao immediately sensed the movement. She pursed her lips and glared at him—but Song Jie pretended not to notice and continued his mischief.
She didn't dare move, afraid someone might notice. Instead, she quickly picked up her phone and sent him a message, then gave him a sharp look.
Song Jie smiled, checked his phone, and read her message.
[Mu Nujiao: Take your hand out, there are too many people here…]
[Song Jie: So that means it's okay when there are fewer people?]
Mu Nujiao's face instantly turned red. That wasn't what she meant at all!
[Mu Nujiao: If you don't take it out, I won't come see you again!]
[Song Jie: Then… see you tonight?]
Mu Nujiao bit her lip and, helplessly, gave a small nod.
At that moment, Ai Tutu noticed Mu Nujiao's flushed face and turned to ask, "Sister Mu, why is your face red?"
"Ah… it's nothing," Mu Nujiao said quickly. This is all his fault!
Song Jie withdrew his hand, looking quite satisfied.
His eyes shifted to the arena, where new challengers were stepping up one after another.
Mo Fan hadn't appeared yet—so for now, it wasn't particularly exciting.
"Song Jie, do you think the Summoning Element can challenge a hundred people again this time?" Ai Tutu asked curiously.
She had already learned his name from their earlier exchange, so she spoke to him more casually now.
"I don't know," Song Jie replied with a knowing smile. He did know, of course—but he couldn't just say that.
"How about we make a bet?"
Hearing that, Ai Tutu's eyes lit up. "A bet? What kind of bet?"
Song Jie smirked. "If I win, your Sister Mu has to kiss me."
"You're trying to take advantage of my Sister Mu!" Ai Tutu puffed her cheeks indignantly.
"Listen to the whole thing first."
"Alright, what's the bet?"
"I bet the Summoning Element will complete a challenge of two hundred people."
"Two hundred people? Isn't the goal just a hundred?" Ai Tutu blinked in disbelief.
"That's exactly why it's an impossible bet," Song Jie said lightly.
Ai Tutu nodded—he had a point. "Then what if you lose?"
"If I lose, I'll be at your command from now on. You can make me do anything." Song Jie's grin widened.
Mu Nujiao glanced at him suspiciously. She had a feeling there was some hidden trick behind his calm confidence.
Ai Tutu leaned close to Mu Nujiao's ear and whispered, "Sister Mu, let's play along with him."
She found Song Jie incredibly handsome—sunny, confident, and charming. He could easily pass as her type.
"Come on, Sister Mu, there's no way he can win! Two hundred people? Impossible!" Ai Tutu said, full of energy.
"You can agree if you want, but you're the one kissing him if he wins," Mu Nujiao huffed, still annoyed.
"Don't worry—we'll win this for sure!" Ai Tutu said confidently, assuming Song Jie made such a ridiculous bet just to get closer to them.
Song Jie overheard their little whispering session and smiled to himself.
Having Ai Tutu kiss him instead?
That didn't sound bad either.
"Alright then, it's a deal!" Ai Tutu said brightly.
Song Jie's smile deepened. Everything was falling perfectly into place.
