Alien X's body shifted sharply.
In an instant, countless afterimages appeared, each one standing directly in front of a hardened criminal!
"So… so fast…"
"He attacked all of us at the same time?!"
"What kind of monster is this?!"
The hardened criminals trembled violently. Almost instinctively, they all raised their defenses, staring at the silent figures before them in sheer terror.
"How is this possible…? I didn't even see him move!!" Vilgax's pupils shrank.
His heart began pounding uncontrollably.
Could it be…
That this Alien X was even more terrifying than Way Big?
Bang! Bang! Bang!!!
Every Alien X afterimage threw a punch.
Countless fists slammed into the hardened criminals' bodies from every direction. Their bodies shook violently, unable to stabilize themselves, faces filled with fear.
Time passed.
Alien X continued punching.
Again.
And again.
But the hardened criminals…
Their clothes were only slightly dirtied.
A little blood trickled from the corners of their mouths.
Other than being unable to fight back—
That was all.
"That's not right… This Alien X isn't anywhere near as strong as Way Big! He's all show, no power!"
Vilgax's eyes widened as realization struck him.
How terrifying was Way Big?
One casual attack could instantly kill Vilgax.
But this Alien X?
He had been fighting for so long and hadn't killed a single hardened criminal!
This meant—
Alien X's physical attack power was weak!
"Phew… Can't use too much force. Must not kill them."
Alien X restrained himself, using only traces of power as he continued striking.
"Enough!!" Vilgax roared.
Gripping his massive saber, he leapt forward and slashed down violently!
"Ethen! Not using Way Big was your biggest mistake!!"
An alien that couldn't even kill hardened criminals—
He could cut it down in one strike!
"Hm?!"
Alien X withdrew his fists instantly, releasing the hardened criminals. They crashed to the ground one after another.
Clang!!
Vilgax's full-power slash landed squarely on Alien X's body.
He roared and tried to push the blade deeper—
But it wouldn't move.
Not even an inch.
"…Durable? Then…"
"I'll hit you, Vilgax." Alien X smiled coldly, locking eyes with him.
At that moment—
Vilgax felt as if he had fallen into an icy abyss.
Had he misjudged something?
Boom!!
Alien X threw a simple, unadorned punch.
Vilgax was blasted straight backward!
Whoosh!
Alien X streaked forward again, keeping pace with Vilgax in midair. His fists, elbows, knees, and feet slammed into Vilgax nonstop.
So fast.
So relentless.
Vilgax's lips curled into a grin despite the beating.
He had gambled correctly.
He couldn't withstand even one blow from Way Big.
But Alien X?
Its physical strength was clearly inferior!
As long as he endured, he could counterattack!
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
Vilgax was batted back and forth like a kite, completely reduced to a punching bag.
Throughout the entire ordeal—
He couldn't fight back at all.
Yet he kept smiling.
"Shit! This guy just flies fast and punches fast!"
"That's it!"
"When he runs out of stamina, he's dead!!"
The hardened criminals shouted hysterically.
Some even jumped up, deliberately provoking Alien X.
Inside the ruins of the Plumbers branch—
The Plumbers watching in secret felt despair.
Ethen was strong.
Strong enough to suppress Vilgax.
But now—
Suppressing wasn't enough.
Alien X didn't seem to have the power to kill Vilgax.
Bang!!
Another punch slammed into Vilgax's jaw.
His face twisted grotesquely as he flew backward, still sneering arrogantly.
"Cough… cough… is this all you've got? Compared to Way Big crushing me with one finger—this is nothing!!"
"Is that so?" Alien X smiled calmly.
"That's fine. We have time."
His smile vanished.
His eyes closed.
Then—
Alien X slowly descended to the ground.
"What? Out of stamina?! Good! Then it's our turn! I'm going to grind him into dust!!"
The hardened criminals charged forward with feral expressions.
Vilgax landed as well, struggling to stand, a slow grin forming.
Next—
It would be his turn.
"No one…
…will take Ethen's head from me!"
He forced himself upright.
Thud.
Alien X touched down.
His eyes opened.
The excitement was gone.
The restraint ended.
He saw them—
Ben Tennyson.
Gwen Tennyson.
Grandpa Max.
They were already engaged in battle.
So—
Alien X could no longer play.
He had to end this now.
And then protect the other three fronts.
Boom!!
Alien X's eyes snapped wide open.
A terrifying divine shockwave erupted from his gaze, sweeping across the entire area like a tidal wave!
Blinding power flooded heaven and earth.
It passed over every hardened criminal.
They froze.
Their bodies cracked.
Collapsed.
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
In an instant—
Every hardened criminal disintegrated into dust.
From dust to atoms.
From atoms to nothing.
With a single look—
Alien X erased them all.
"…What?" Vilgax stared.
He slapped himself.
Rubbed his eyes.
Stared again.
"No… impossible!!"
He roared and charged into the divine shockwave, raising his arms to block it.
The moment it made contact—
BOOM!!
Vilgax's arms disintegrated instantly, breaking down into countless molecules.
The pain exploded through his nerves, dragging up a memory—
The terror of facing Way Big.
No—
This was worse.
Alien X stood tall, unmoving, eyes still radiating domination.
A being who could erase everything with a glance—
Was far more terrifying than Way Big.
Whoosh!!
Vilgax turned and ran.
I don't want to rule the Milky Way anymore!
I don't want that broken watch anymore!!
