Grandpa Max finally calmed himself, his voice deep and steady.
"Someone orchestrated all of this on purpose—deliberately scattering us so they can deal with us one by one."
He frowned hard.
"Who could possibly have that kind of ability…?"
Then—
His pupils shrank.
"That bastard Vilgax."
His tone was filled with irritation.
"Why can't he accept defeat? Every time he gets beaten, he just crawls back again."
"Vilgax?!" Ben jumped to his feet.
"Leave Vilgax to me! I want to become a legendary Plumber!"
"How about this?" Ethen stood up, rolling his wrists calmly.
He raised the Reversal Watch.
A cold glint flashed in his eyes, and a dangerous smile curved on his face.
"I'll use Nega Alien X and wipe out all the enemies at once."
"That way, we won't have to rush all over the place."
Four attack zones?
What a joke.
If Ethen wanted to—
He could erase all four at the same time.
Even if the entire Earth were filled with freaks, Nega Alien X could annihilate them instantly.
That—
Was absolute power.
Ethen alone could end everything.
Grandpa Max froze for a moment, then nodded heavily.
"If you can really do that… then I'll leave it to you."
"Alright."
Ethen nodded, preparing to transform.
"Wait, Ethen." Ben called out to him.
"You're insanely strong, no doubt about that. But Gwen and I need experience. We need to grow. This is an opportunity—a real chance for us to face things on our own."
He then looked seriously at Grandpa Max.
"And Grandpa… you haven't fought as a Plumber in a long time either, have you?"
"…You're right." Grandpa Max clenched his fists.
He still wanted to be a hero.
The atmosphere shifted.
Even though they all knew this was a trap—
They still wanted to face it head-on.
"I want to try too." Gwen lifted her staff and spoke softly.
"I want to know what it feels like to fight alone."
"…Understood." Ethen nodded.
"Grandpa Max. Ben. Gwen. I'll take the Plumbers branch. You three split the remaining locations. And remember this—no matter whether you win or lose, if anything goes wrong… I'll handle it."
The next second—
Ethen raised the Reversal Watch and transformed without hesitation!
Boom!!
Alien X spread his arms and shot into the sky like a descending god, flying straight toward the Plumbers branch!
No matter what happened to Ben or Gwen—
He could always reverse everything.

Let them prove themselves.
Watching Alien X disappear into the distance—
Ben raised his wrist, ready to transform.
Whoosh!
Green light flashed.
Without any manual input, he automatically transformed into XLR8.
XLR8's visor slid down as Ben's voice carried a hint of surprise.
"I don't know what's wrong with this watch… But fine! Leave the highway to me!"
He burst forward at terrifying speed.
Target: Suburban Highway.
Gwen adjusted her sleeves, fastened her pendants, and gripped her staff.
"Gwen…" Grandpa Max looked at her with concern.
"You're the one I'm most worried about. You shouldn't have to face so much."
"Relax, Grandpa." Gwen smiled confidently.
"I'm an honor student—my performance won't be bad."
With a flick of her sleeves, she lifted off.
"The city center isn't good for racing. It's perfect for a magic-user like me. Leave it to me."
"Phew…" Grandpa Max took a deep breath.
He quickly put on his Plumbers combat uniform, strapped on his weapons, and climbed into the driver's seat of the old, broken car.
Seatbelt fastened.
Full-speed mode engaged.
Boom!!
The engine roared as the car shot forward toward the airport.

Vilgax stood calmly at the center of the base, clad in heavy armor, a massive saber resting in his hand.
"Ethen will definitely come." His voice was cold and confident.
"With so many of us here, if he dares to show his face… He's dead. No matter what he transforms into—there's only one ending."
Around him, hardened criminals sneered viciously.
They were already fantasizing—
About how they would torture Ethen, this newly promoted legendary Plumber.
The Plumbers must have gone senile.
Choosing a brat like him?
They had clearly lost their minds.
Whoosh—BANG!!
A thunderous roar split the sky.
A meteor-like figure tore through the clouds and descended violently!
