As the four women began to relax, still tangled together in a sticky heap on the bed, their conversation turned soft and dreamy.
"I've already thought of a name."
Ivy murmured, gently caressing her lower belly with a tender smile.
"If it's a girl, I want to call her Vita...like the evening star. She'll be best friends with all your children, of course."
Selma giggled shyly.
"I want mine to be strong like the Hero. Maybe call him Kain. We'll raise them together. They'll grow up as the closest siblings in the whole village."
Ivy nodded excitedly, still catching her breath.
"And we'll be the best mothers ever. I can already picture us sitting together every evening, watching them play—"
Alia smiled softly. "I never thought I'd get to experience this...carrying the Hero's child alongside all of you. It feels like a dream."
Tessa, who had only just stirred awake, let out a contented sigh and reached out to hold Alia's hand.
