It just didn't make sense to Alia.
Mika was a Hero. He had his own responsibilities and countless things to worry about.
There was no way he should have had the time to know so much about everyone around him.
And yet, somehow, he did. He understood their personalities, their problems, and even things they rarely told other people.
It almost felt like he had lived with them for years.
The whole thing left Alia confused.
Luca shrugged, looking almost embarrassed as he said,
"Don't act too surprised, Alia. Even though I can't give all of you my full attention, that doesn't mean I'm going to ignore you completely."
He reached out and cupped her cheek.
"All of you are going to be my future wives. The ones who will bear my children. I can't just leave you alone."
He smiled.
"So I made it my mission to learn about everyone in the village."
Alia gasped as he went on to warmly say,
