Chapter 4 - mattheo x music genius x Draco x Aiden the alpha werewolf

"Oh! My apologies for barging in so suddenly." The newcomer with chocolate brown hair smiled warmly, his smile radiant and fervent; a kind that would be considered charming yet natural without too much showing off, the opposite of Gilderoy Lockhart.

"My name is Aiden Fenrir Rudolfo, Aiden is fine. I have heard fighting noise coming from this compartment and.....is everything all right?" Aiden softly explains, his head slightly tilted from how tall he is compared to this tiny compartment when he tried to dig his head inside it.

"Ugh.....don't tell me that's a Gryffindor with fancy soft care as if everyone else needs protection." Draco almost couldn't hold back his disdain.

"Well....we'll leave that to the sorting hat." The male smiled wider in return, the insult didn't seem to affect him at all. "I just need to make sure no one is hurt here. Mhm?" Then a pause "Actually, would you mates like some food? I have plenty!"

"Tell me why would any of us eat food from an unknown stranger that none of us trusted?"

"Oh come onnnn." Aiden grinned brightly as he tied his hair half up, then started squishing his massive yet muscular body inside the tiny compartment. His size alone almost took up two seats "Just try them, I promise they are tasty and not poisoned. I've just freshly roasted these in the morning."

Without further ado, he swiftly pulled out pieces of roasted boar leg meat and stuffed them inside their mouths.

-----It has happened so quickly, none get to register what has actually happened.

With such inhumane speed, the trio inside the little space knew this wasn't just a typical golden himbo boy.

"Hm....." Draco huffed coldly, a reluctant respect for the food to appease his high taste buds "Edible, I suppose." The comment was heartfelt, coming from the pure-blood Slytherin prince----*edible*, he said. It was the biggest praise for a pure-blood to ever comment on Muggle food.

"Haha! I just knew you were going to love it too mate!" Aiden's grin lit up into a full-blown one. "You can have as many as you want, I still have plenty!" He then smacked his calloused fingers on the blonde's back.

"Hey! Watch it, mud-blood." Draco sneered, but there was no venom in it now that his mouth was filled with steaming pork.

Aiden didn't bother to correct Draco on the comment, well, no one should have known about his true identity anyway. He simply smiled in return as always, as if he was just a mere random Hogwarts student.

The other two watched him silently, one eyed him suspiciously, the other frivolously. Still, Aiden remained poised and disarming with his charming smile.

"So.....you are also a transfer student." That cynical tone rings softly again, Frolava turns her head to him with unbothered care. It was a statement, not a question.

"Yes, I am." Aiden beamed with warmth, unfazed by her tedious attitude. "A 7th year transfer student, at that."

"7th year?" This time it was Mattheo who had a reaction. "It is nearly impossible for one to join Hogwarts in such a late year."

"Oh, it is nothing much," he added "I have had a meeting with Dumbledore himself, and he has allowed and approved my entrance."

Mattheo raised an eyebrow "The headmaster approved you himself?" Then he scoffed wryly "This year is getting ridiculously insane."

"May I ask what the hell you bribed the headmaster with, so I can also do the same if I need to one day?" Frolava blurpted out flatly.

"Sorry beautiful," Aiden winked playfully "it's a secret not even beauty will uncover."

Frolava rolled her only visible eye in the back of her head and scoffed loudly, before dropping her back against the seat inside the compartment. There she goes, turning her back against everyone and deciding to take a nap again and detach herself from the world.

No one noticed how weak her breath felt, nor the faint hum of vibrations underneath her luggage case, as if a symphony plays on itself faintly in the dark like pianos playing in gothic castles.

The silence stretched again, thick and long; but not suffocating. Rather, there seemed to be a long peaceful silence where the 4 students sat. In the tiny compartment, tranquility was shared. It was the type of rare solitude often found at midnight, a greenland of rest in the desert before a new year of unknown challenge rises at Hogwarts.
