"Damn girl, do you ought to talk back every sentence I said?" The male chuckled breathlessly.
And that gained a side-eye from the maiden "Not necessary, but now I do when you are tempting me like this."
The male scoffed "Too big an ego is injurious to survival in the wizarding world, you know." He crossed his arms together after putting out the cigar in between his fingers.
"Survive?" She chuckled cynically as she shook her head. "You have no idea I needed none of that."
"What?" Matthew furrowed his eyebrows
"...nothing." She yawned, lazily and softly like a cat just finished its lunch, and started going back to sleep.
The air was suddenly eerily silent again as she leaned on the train compartment windows, her breath shallow; too shallow as if she was not breathing at all.
"....." Mattheo scoffed again, though now there was a faint annoyance hidden beneath, a kind that frustrates the dark lord himself after witnessing someone out of their understanding and control. "So now you're just going to pretend nothing has happened at all and go back to sleep?"
"Yes. So shut up before I decide I need to open my eyes and curse you silent."
That instantly triggered Riddle, being the challenger and rebel he is. "Try me." He sneered darkly.
"Sigh, here we go...I guess."
---------------
It was all comforting silence on the Hogwarts Express until...
Well... since when did a certain cart of the compartment start to have a weird creepy blood red aura and deadly green lights lighting up from within? And most importantly ---- no, not even the dementors dared to go near the train. Definitely not when they sense predators worse than death itself.
"cruci-----"
The doors of the compartment suddenly opened.
"Oh by merlin.....what in the bloody hell is happening here...?"
There stood a new male with blonde hair, his aristocratic attire always on point, his posture impeccable. Except now his face was half-drained of blood.
Wouldn't blame him though, if anyone watched two literal Hogwarts *students* fight with 3 unforgivables for a normal attack, they would be scared too, especially when the compartment turns into an erupted battlefield as if it is the most normal thing that has happened in the world.
There sat Frolava, her long braids still clinging to her slender frame as she tilted her body in the small compartment; dodging Mattheo's Crucio spell. Then reversing one at him as he dodged and pointed his wand yet on her neck again, only to get tangled up by her legs and caught falling on her.
Yup, the two were nearly blowing up the compartment and stopped as they both sensed someone had just opened the compartment doors.
"Not my problem. Just take a look, he is on top of me with his wand pointing at my neck."
"Hoho, very funny, Missy, as if you haven't just dared the most intimidating student in Hogwarts and lived to fight back with your wand pointing at my stomach. I would have trusted you."
Watching the two students with their wands pointed at each other, one cynically lazy the other sneering into a snarl, the new blonde male walked inside the compartment stiffly, trying his best to stay composed.
"Just look at the poor kid, what have you done Mattheo?"
The blonde-haired male immediately exclaimed "Excuse me!? I am not a bloody child! How dare you, I am the prince of-"
"Yeah right your name is Draco and you are a Malfoy. I don't care."
Silence stretched yet again. This time, the air freezes as if the temperature has dropped drastically.
"Is the new girl crazy or something...." Draco mutters with disbelief. He suddenly doesn't know whether he should be mad at the family disrespect or admire her absolute bravery for saying that straight out loud.
"Apparently she is not afraid of me either." Then Mattheo smirked "I think I will have lots of fun this year." The male finally put his wand back in his pocket, and Frolava did the same.
"And I will have the worst year ever." Frolava rolled her eyes and leaned back down on now half-ruined train seat. "And I have a name, it's Frolava, if you would kindly remember it, thank you very much."
Just as the blonde-haired male Draco wanted to say something as a retort, the compartment doors burst open.
"Is anyone hurt??" A deep rumbling male voice in a low bass tone asked urgently, almost frenetically like a father who had just heard his child crying from afar after being in pain. There stood a male in 6'8 height, his build insanely massive for a student, like a warrior that has led thousands.
All 3 of the students inside the compartment looked towards the doors at the same time, and they were greeted with the giant standing at the doors panting with worry in his intense light grey eyes.
"What in the merlin- who is that again?" Draco's eyes squinted in suspicion. Of course, none had heard of the newcomer. He doesn't belong to any wizard families, nor does he have an official letter from the Ministry. He was a mystery himself. Or is he?
