The continuously exploding flames expanded, swallowing Crobat in the blink of an eye. Two Air Slash attacks followed closely into the inferno, but the splattered blood was incinerated by the heat before it could even drop.
After dealing with Crobat, Charizard headed straight for Kamiyama. Meanwhile, Electabuzz had completely lost its ability to battle under the bombardment of Hyper Beam. Against a Sylveon augmented by Pixilate, Electabuzz was simply no match.
As a Rage Fist swung out, Arbok was directly crushed by Annihilape. Facing the pincer attack from Charizard, Annihilape, and Sylveon, Kamiyama knew he no longer had a chance to escape. The look in his eyes became increasingly crazed.
"Since I'm going to die anyway, all of you can come to the grave with me!"
Accompanied by Kamiyama's roar, several Poké Balls opened, and Golem rushed out. This was originally the trump card Kamiyama had prepared for himself, yet he never expected it would be used to send him on his final journey.

Pulling a weapon shaped like a laser gun from his jacket, Kamiyama attacked Annihilape directly. Besides information regarding Neon Town, this included some intel on Team Rocket. Gu Yuan believed these people wouldn't be able to gain much from the Team Rocket intel, as Shadow was no fool.
The reason for Kamiyama's defection was also clarified: a key, an extremely special key. Agatha had once told Gu Yuan that in this world, there are many passages leading to alternate dimensions. Some places even allow people to travel through time and space, leaving behind various legends.
Unfortunately, these interdimensional passages are extremely unstable. Combined with the difficulty of using effective devices for long-term exploration, there aren't many controllable dimensions. The key Kamiyama possessed allowed entry into one such alternate dimension.
