The girl sat in the back seat of the pickup truck, as Mily sat in the passenger seat, as the man drove who she dubbed Metal hands.
They drove on a green touched road, as here and there plants and grass healthyly grew.
She held a map which she asked her Mom to buy for her, which she happily bought for her after all, she doesn't normally ask for anything at all.
She looked at the map and the road they were on, which was a slightly longer way to their destination, Eco-City.
"Metal, no no, I mean s-sir we're not really umm..." She paused her voice soft and cracking in nervousness as she attempted talking to the man, as she contemplated how to put her words.
"No worries my Lil flower, we heard many times already, his just leading us to some where he can get what is due to him, after all his no fool right?" Mily spoke, as her voice carried no trace of annoyance, after all she was tolerant and has dealt with worse, hopefully this man wasn't as annoying neither boring as the others.
"Mily, there is no need for you remind me about that I, well." He chuckled, "I didn't know your value."
"And now you do? How interesting from just a single glance, color me surprised." Mily responded amused, at least in the eyes of the man, but the cloaked girl knew very easily that she was faking it.
She needed to gain that sort of skill, if she ever wanted to know what her mom was even thinking sometimes...
Which weren't pleasant to her at all.
"How old even is your girl?" The man asked, trying to pick up a conversation, Mily stopped admiring the greenery as she directed her gaze to the man, who was surprisingly calm and unagitated, there was unusually a small fond grin on him.
"Well she's 16 now." She answered.
"Woah, really." He said genuinely surprised, "She sounds so much younger, and you know her height really makes her seem like a child." He then turned his gaze to his side-view mirror, as the girl Immediately looked down and to the opposite direction swiftly.
A glint of suspicion appeared in his narrowed eyes, as such possible features disappeared as he spoke addressing the cloaked girl, "Your legally an adult now, still hanging round your momma, like a duck to her's, your just stinking adorable aren't ya!" He spoke as it infected the atmosphere, easing everything as he teased the poor girl, more and more, who squirmed under the attention.
It was less awful than her mom's, in truth it felt so light and comforting.
Embarrassing of course.
"Hahaha–don't be shy it's a compliment, nothing bad about that, is there?" The man kept on saying his voice a joyous bass in the vehicle.
The man heard a whisper of a thank you, as a fond smile appeared on his face, then it almost turned to a deep scowl, when he heard a slight mumbling from Mily.
"She'll get many compliments when she gets started, that's for sure."
This caused the man to think, why is a just legal woman even here, then he asked, "Hey loveable, why isn't she in the military?" Mily tensed a bit, as she stayed silent, this let the man go on to pick at the topic, "After all, they should of payed a thorough visit...right loveable."
Mily turned towards the man, she faned a guilty expression as if she couldn't keep his gaze, at least when their eyes met, even though the man stared at her with a semi neutral expression as he looked sort of tense.
"I..." Mily began as she started to slightly fidget, biting her lip, then just sighed as she let a defeated expression appear on her face.
"I couldn't, like imagine your kid going away to this violent dangerous place, and you won't ever see them again. It horrified me, so...I made a escape before they came to visit us."
"Today?" The man asked.
"No, actually we've been on the run for a bit, we even skipped cities." She said as she looked at her intertwined fidgeting hands, as a bitter smile formed on her face.
"So you already paid a fool his due?" He said as he watched the sun start to set in the distance.
"I'm pouring my heart out here!" She said comically, then her face went back to her original smile, that showed no teeth neither stretching to it's limit, "No, we used a bus to get to Chrome City, the famous city where the richer looked down on the rich." Then she chuckled.
"You know, i genuinely thought that i would find gold or hundreds of Alet's, when I picked their pockets, yet everyone seemed to be in their own crisis, which I made worse." she said a bit of genuine guilt seeming to seep through.
Which the cloaked girl was surprised to see, but the man didn't perceive this woman as much as she did, so he answered her not considering such.
"You got something very wrong about that city." He said, as Mily turned her head lazyly towards him.
"And what could that be?"
"There is a reason for the richer looking down on the rich." He said, as he seemed to gain more than just Mily's attention, as he heard the shifting of a smaller person in the back seat, he gained a small smile on his face as he began to explain.
"The richer look down on the rich, since the rich crawl to their positions on the corpses of the poor, since the richer are those who have abilities and cybernetics that the rich can't get their hands on."
"So your telling me those people with cybernetics all over themselves are poor! The houses look like newly built ones, how can you call that poor?" Mily spoke genuine surprised rushing into her tone, her eyes widening slightly.
The man chuckled, "If the rats that infested that city didn't squeeze everything they earn out of them, than you would of found gold in their pockets."
Mily raised a brow, "Got history with these 'rats'? You call them."
"Ya, worked for them, but that didn't last. They grew arrogant and didn't think for a second to look behind them as they tried to unthrone the anomalies in their system, i heard it was some duo with one of them having this strange blue eyes to them."
"So some sort of fixation on these anomalies brought them down as i suspect they got back doored by a duo, but before that, what are these anomalies you mentioned?" Mily asked, as she grew more invested.
She sure found a knowledgeable man that's for sure, or maybe he just lived there for a long time, and it's general knowledge there.
Any case colour her impressed.
"We're you not listening?" He said with a smile.
Mily pouted, "Hey don't do that."
The man chuckled as he was about to continue on, as he was interrupted by a soft voice.
"The Richer...are those the anomalies."
The man beamed, his smile of warmth as he reached back and ruffled the cloaked girls head, but it ended after Mily grabbed his arm tight.
"I'll like that you keep the touching to us rather than, my girl." She said, a tenseness in her voice.
He nodded, "Sorry got ahead of myself, force of habit."
He said as light finally retreated to the west, as he drove off the road to the side far enough that nobody could discern their facial features.
It's time the fool was payed his due.
Mily, happily got out and went to the back seat and told the cloaked girl to stay in the car.
As the man got out, he turned on the window shield to keep sound out.
Mily gingerly got into the back of the pickup truck as the man also got in.
Soon as he got his hand on her cheek, he let his other hand roam, as Mily began to remove the layers on her body and closed the distance between her and his lips.
The two slowly began to get more and more familiar with each other, it led to the man topless and above the breathless Mily.
"Well." She said pausing to take a breath, "Now let's stop playing around the main event." She said as she began to interact with his belt, as the man slowly brought his hands gently around her neck, which Mily giggled and smiled at, then...
It fell, as a pit opened in her stomach, as the fingers around her neck gained a different meaning, then a rough night to giggle about.
As she felt bit more longer.
'His not turned on.!!?'
Than a thought raised in her head.
'Wait, why would he need to bring us out this far from civilization, just for a night with me, or...did he actually ever want to have a night with m–!!!!" As a shiver of fear rose in her, as she didn't finish that thought as she let her gaze rise into the furious eyes of the man,
Instantly, his metal hands clenched and locked themselves in a painful hold, not ment to kill her but choke her.
Mily began to thrash, as she clawed at his forearms, kicking down below and landing solid hits on his face, but he didn't relent as he spoke.
"You don't know how happy I am." He growled through clenched teeth. "When I saw you, i just knew you could be connected to them, but when I heard, no, not even heard, saw! you got a girl with ya, ooh boy, i grinned in the inside."
Mily's eyes were bulging as tears begin to appear in the corners of her eyes, as they gathered to then fall down her face, which began turning blue, as she slowly realized what sort of freak she got involved with.
Then the situation she assumed of a freak, would of been a happy situation as he spoke.
"I have been looking for your people, for a long–long time, ever since you took my baby girl, you vile dogs, you kidnappers! Tell me before I decide to kill ya, where your taking the girl, now! Tell me where the migration is headed too!" He screamed at the barely breathing lady.
As he uttered the last of his words with venom.
"You prostitutor."
