They burst into loud laughter when Ethan threatened them. Even though his appearance was intimidating, not a single member of the Telmarian Tribe showed any fear.
"HAHA! Who do you think you are, daring to threaten us? Our village chief can't be met by just anyone like you," they replied.
Ethan fell silent, then let out a cold smirk, his gaze fixed straight ahead. He meant to intimidate them, to make sure they feared him.
"You can talk like that… but do you want to see what happened in the western village?" Ethan asked.
That caught their attention. Two of the village guards quickly ran from their village toward the one across from them, wanting to confirm the situation.
Ethan did not attack while they were gone. He let them decide after seeing the condition of the other village.
Fifteen minutes later, the two men returned, their faces pale with fear. They reported everything they had seen.
"The other village… has been destroyed!"
