When they heard the names Risa and the Queen of the Blood-Cursed Tribe, their expressions turned grim. The woman who led the village stepped forward, stopping right at the tip of Ethan's blade.
"We can't do anything. The elders of the main tribe ordered us. We only acted according to their command," the woman explained.
"So you admit… that the destruction of Gor City was caused by you?"
"Yes."
Ethan could no longer hold back his anger. He swung his sword forward in a horizontal motion. A crimson slash shot out at high speed, targeting the village leader.
The three tribal elders moved at once and stood directly in front of her. One of them slammed his staff into the ground, summoning a green magical barrier to block Ethan's attack.
But unlike Lyodra's servant, Ethan's power was many times greater. From the clash of the two forces, cracks began to spread across the elders' barrier.
