"And you'll have to sleep in the study," she reminded him.
Chibuzor paused.
"I'm okay with that. If we can manage the others, I don't see why not."
Olaedo stared at him.
"You're actually okay with sleeping in the study?"
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know. I thought you'd complain."
He shrugged.
"I still have the make shift mattress from the last time. I can use it."
More like the mattress I brought in secretly, he said internally.
Then he picked up his phone.
"I'll tell my assistant to bring whatever I need for work."
Olaedo shook her head.
He really was getting used to this arrangement.
At this point, Chibuzor could practically live anywhere as long as he had his laptop, his work and somewhere to sleep.
Besides, going to the old mansion was a chance to show the elders that all is well with their marriage.
If Chibuzor could really endure sleeping on the ground or sofa in the study, then fine.
